apt1: Sorry but the same as so many others. You did not provide strong enough proof that you will return after your visit. Your bank account had deposits that you did not explain. Work on your proof to return and explain your bank account better then re-apply. |

apt1: You need to read back here and USA section to understand Strong proof to return home. But managed landed property Family and children Letter from employer stating that you will return after holiday. All work towards convincing the VO. Also explain EVERYTHING deposited into your account. |

In the PDF checklist I downloaded after booking appointment, there is no mention that you must include passport-sized color photograph, isn't that odd? |

Mikelion:I do not think there's a requirement for passport photograph, I submitted in IKEJA 2 weeks back and was even surprised to hear passport photo is not needed instead the one taken with their machine was printed on the Visa. 2 Likes |

Hello all! Great Job you guys doing helping intending travelers on this section! Please, I need help with a couple of matters. 1. When writing an invitation/sponsorship letter in support of a visa application at Ikeja, what is the correct address to use. I only have the VI address. 2.My intending guest seems to be in a situation akin to 'self-employment' (no company), where the income varies from month to month. How will monthly income be stated on the application form, seeing as the amounts are not the same every month? Will an average figure over a period suffice? e.g, total of figures over 6 months divided by 6? or the figure from the latest month? 3.There is also the matter of money from family/friends coming into the account monthly but not regular/fixed amounts. Should one use an average figure or the figure from the latest month? Thanks in advance! |

Hi guys, Thanks for the great work you are doing. I submitted my application for a 6month visa on the 5th of Aug and my application is not yet out. I got a mail from them about 3 days ago stating that the processing of my application has not been straightforward hence they would need more time. I work in a bank and I got all the necessary letters from HR, so I am amused that my application wud pend for this long. Now the issue is something came up recently and would need my international passport on the 6th of sept. What do I do house? |
