Why did the parents agree for the boy to be buried without post-mortem examination?

Did the NA compensate them to avoid scandal?
The senior cadets that are reaponsible for this young boys's death what will be their punishment?

I dont blame our brothers from the East who call this country a zoo cos thats exactly whaf it is with this kind of events happening without proper investigation
he is military personnel, his parents don't have the power to request for such. He died in service and God bless his soul.

Me that I and all my siblings went to military schools my dad us disappointed none of us joined the military
I'm like nigerian military is not worth one man's life. The seniority complex in nigerian military has to stop. That's my own beef with nigerian military

Unlike in the south, northerners don't keep the dead for long before burial. Muslims even must bury their dead before decomposition sets in, but in any case within a day. From his name, though, this unfortunate young man is most likely a xtian.

I'm not surprised, we lack respect for human life.. that's why I can't waste my life for this country.... a whole PRO is cooking up lies instead saying the truth. and also if you watch a glimpse of Nigeria military training and that of other countries you will notice on difference.... Nigerian army punishes while other countries trains their cadets with tactics..... may those behind his death and he that lied never see peace in their life.

After an argument in church resulting from calling me “mommy and I am older than you”, I have been having this curiosity, why are pastors now called “Daddy” and their wives “mummy?” personally, I do not believe that it is right to address a pastor as “Daddy”. Like pastor is not enough respect to someone who teaches the Bible? Jesus was called teacher and not Daddy. Is there any bible verse to wrong my thought or are we now adopting our own style of Christianity? Matthew 23:9 And do not call anyone on earth 'father,' for you have one Father, and he is in heaven

You have said it all. A good % of them are just hollow heads prancing around. If that is is custom of the Nigerian military, then what is the difference with NDA and the runs (cult) boys? Nigeria has refused to grow up. We still think an live like pre colonial times.

We are in a country where human lives matters no more. A country where crude means are still being used in the training of security personnel all in the name of trying to make them tough. A country where employers both govt and private entrepreneurs believe that the difficult way is always the best as against the easier and less difficult way. Nobody will investigate this death because the young man is not from any 'royal' family.
