Isaac Success has skills and speed but I don't think he is prolific in front of goal as we think. I have seen him missed goals severally in la liga though he's good at dribbling and creating goals. In addition, he played as a winger for Granada and now Watford. If invited, he can only come in as a Winger and not a striker. Now, the question is who should be dropped for him? Simon Moses, Victor Moses or Ezekiel Imoh? |

[b] Official : West Ham, Man City, West Brom & Southampton Scouted Moses Simon, Esiti On Thursday Belgian First Division A club KAA Gent have confirmed that scouts representing several European clubs attended their Europa League clash with Sporting Braga on Thursday. Nigeria internationals Moses Simon and Anderson Esiti featured in the game, with the winger replaced just before half time after picking up what appears to be a hamstring complaint. Aside representatives of Manchester United and Arsenal, Premier League quartet West Ham, Manchester City, West Brom and Southampton were on a scouting mission to run the rule over both Nigerians and the rest of the players in action. City’s European scouting consultant Ruben Mato, Senior Recruitment Officer at Southampton Bill Green, West Brom’s top scout Mike Trusson and West Ham’s scout Emerson Thome monitored developments at Estádio Municipal de Braga. Moses Simon, 21, is tied to Gent until the summer of 2019 while Esiti’s deal run outs a year later, having penned a four-year contract before the close of the summer transfer window. forgiveness: He has the quality to play as a striker for Nigeria. Henry was a winger before he was converted to a striker. I see a similar trajectory for Success 4 Likes |

Orkpekyandega: No! No! No! I don't think he has got an eye for goal more than Imoh-ezekiel or Moses Victor. You know Ezekiel Imoh records in terms of goal. Well, maybe he can come in for Imoh-ezekiel because he is no where to be found in Europe. |

forgiveness: He won player of the season for Granada because of his displays on the wing. His dribbles were critical for Granada. Henry played winger at Monaco but was converted to a striker at a bigger club, It happens. Our wings are kinda filled-up and we need help getting goals. 2 Likes |

tbaba1234: I know now because I watched him several times. He was mostly played on the wings and he did very well. But the lad is not good at scoring goals. You may be surprised but I saw how he missed clear cut chances on several occasions. I didn't believe it but it is true. I don't think we lack striker. What we lack is a creative midfielder. You can agree if you can remember how Iwobi came in against the Egyptians and changed the game. 1 Like |

Fanendo Adi Becomes 16th Player In MLS History To Score 15 Goals In Consecutive Seasons Super Eagles hopeful Fanendo Adi netted his 15th goal in Major League Soccer in the 2016 season as Portland Timbers defeated Philadelphia Union 2-1 at Providence Park on Saturday. With the scoreboard reading 1-1, the Nigerian grabbed the game-winning goal in the 53rd minute after he was set up by Mattocks. Adi’s strike versus Union was the fourth consecutive time he has scored in home matches, and he became the 16th player in the history of the MLS to manage 15 goals or more in consecutive seasons. The 25-year-old is presently the fourth top marksman in the American top-flight, behind Wright-Phillips, David Villa and Giovinco. Whilst the Timbers number nine played the full game against Philadelphia Union, Amobi Okugo and Gbenga Arokoyo were not involved. The challenge we may have as regards goals scoring is how to best utilize the Iheanacho-Ighalo strike partnership combination. Ighalo thrives better in a 4-4-2 formation. Being a lone striker in a 4-5-1 formation does nt really favour him. He needs someone to play with him. I initially opined that Iheanacho be made d point man but after several considerations I think Ighalo should remain d point man in a 4-4-1-1 formation with Iheanacho playing behind him just like in the Tanzania game. Iheanacho should be made to combine more with Ighalo while also finding space to aim for goal. With this we can easily switch between 4-4-2 & 4-5-1. I would like a formation like this: .................Ighalo Iwobi......Iheanacho.....V. Moses ..........Mikel ....................Onazi Echiejile...Ekong/Omeruo...Balogun.. (?) 4-4-1-1. My major concern in that defends is the RB. Though Musa Mohamed did well against Tanzania, but I am not completely sure we have got a right back that can stop the rampaging Algerian, Zambian and Cameroonian attackers/wingers. Against Tanzania We attacked more and didn't face any major attacking threats. Mohammed was almost a winger in that game. Can he make those runs againt our WC qualifying opponents and we wouldn't get punished? Well Shehu Abdulahi is another candidate. Let d coaches decide. 1 Like |

terzurum5: You can say that again. But I think Victor Moses is still ahead of Success. Remember, Imoh Ezekiel contributed to the bronze medal we just won at Rio. So, how is he not fantastic? Imoh Ezekiel has never been given a chance with the National team hence he has never had a place but that is not fair. 1 Like |

Another goal for saviour Godwin. Enjoying himself in the Belgian second division. Hopefully, he improves his game. Awoniyi fired blanks again as his team was well beaten. Kayode was subbed in the 79th munute.. His team suffered a 4:1 trashing. |

forgiveness: You see, football is dynamic. Gone are those days when only natural wingers play from the wings. Did you notice in d second half of the Watford vs Manu game Ighalo played from the wings. Strikers can be made to play from the wings depending on the dynamics of the game. And note that national team football is different from club football. Success is a striker that can also play from the wings. We have wingers aplenty of which Iwobi and V. Moses are first choices(my opinion). Where we need more bite and dynamism is in the attack. Brown Ideye has been with Super Eagles for almost 4yrs and d only highlight I have abt his contribution to the Super Eagles was that jab he made to Emenike from which we scored against Burkina Faso in our 2013 AFCON group game. Which form are u talking about now that he could not display while he was at the more competitive EPL. Greek league na league? We are talking about building a new team and so we need players whose careers are on the rise. We have seen the better days of Ideye. And pls, pls Mr forgiveness, any thing I post here is strictly my opinion and nothing to do with what happens at the glass house or any where else.Pls. 2 Likes |

forgiveness: Egbon?? Success is a striker.., abi nobi Isaac success of Manu U17? he played as a winger at granada, I think he can regain his scoring ability if he finds his way as a striker. More so, he also got an eyes for goal. He's just good in the front, both as a striker and winger |

TheSuperNerd: Lol Sir Nerd, when I talked about we getting wowed I didn't mean I don't get marveled with their output or displays neither did i mean that I have seen it all with them, hence craving for something better, rather I was and still so happy that at last we are going back to the days that we(as unit) was a force to be reckoned with. Lol we shouldn't lose touch of humor bro. Maybe am a kinda Oliver Twist here hence I want more guys of their ilk to come up ASAP to keep this train moving. It is just that it doesn't surprise me anymore because I feel they have arrived unless they gonna prove otherwise. So oga m, no vex. To today's game, I think it is high time Success got his invitation. He has really come of age. Ighalo who always gets invitation made Bailly look like an armored tank. He was just hassling every damne ball from ighalo's feet, winning most duels including aerial ones but just within some seconds into Success's introduction, he made same Bailly look ordinary. And don't tell me it was because Bailly had run outta steam, hence, Success capitalized on it to give that brutal blow. Like someone rightly said here, he had suffered same fate from our own kid Kelechi. If u have got it, u have got it. Talent is never hidden 2 Likes |

Icon4s: This not bad but I don't think Iwobi and Victor Moses should be played at the same time because they don't like defending or are poor at it. Moreover, you can not drop your best defender for another. Balogun I watched today his better in that position than either Omerue or Ekong. I think another defender like Otigba or Brain should replace Omerue. On the right wing we can try Musa continuously. It is just my opinion. |

Icon4s: Sorry Oga! Super Eagles is different from club football. It is like playing Iwobi as a striker if we go by what you said. Success has been converted to a winger tey tey, no be today. He should play from there. Remember, Victor Moses was once a striker before he was converted to a winger. So, can we use him as a striker? We can not a new team on sentiments but we can only built team on current form of players. In the name of building new team you go bring a player from division 2 ahead of a inform player in Greece. That one no go work. I think you read one article about how two players in USA team broke into the national team when given the chance. Now, that is what I am talking about. Moreover, Instead of Isaac Success I will rather call Fenando Adi. |
