What are you talking about? I! AM! IGBO! How is alright to arbitrarily shut down an entire region? How will people earn? Will you feed their children? If people want to join that's fine. But to force them? You are becoming the very thing you hate and you can't see it. We are better than this but we as a group have been blinded by lies, hard times and mistreatment. I'm not your enemy. Get your mind right. [/quote] pls if u don't have a reasonable things to say Keep shut, Do u think that IPOB iS All about Nnamdi Kanu. Beside there is nothing Wrong if we shut Down the entire South East for 1 month cos of Biafra it our Country i think u can Migrate to Sambisa Forest if u like so None of ur Bussiness. 2 Likes 1 Share |

What's the difference between ipob and Isis if you force 'the very people you claim to wanna liberate". To conform to your dictates? Simple : those who wanna sit @home should sit. Those who don't should freely be allowed to do biz. If you force people over ordinary "sit @ home" order how can you now ask for FG for independence referendum? Automatically it means the ref will be heavily plagued by violence and rigging thus will not be credible. Also a voluntary sit-down by majority igbos and shut down of economic operations will prove to the world that indeed a majority wanna leave naija maybe even prompt world leaders to arrange for deportation of all igbos in North, SS, MW and SW from naija to SE(biafra) or SS territories that wanna be part of biafra. I used to think a vast majority of catalans wanna leave Spain until a gallup poll was done. 7 Likes 2 Shares |

This is a very silly thing to do. First of all, government doesn't recognise the legitimacy of IPOB or its tactics. You cannot just tell people to not show up at their places of employment and not expect consequences if they don't go to justify their pay. What happens when those who don't go to work are relieved of their employment? Do you intend to replace their lost jobs? If the government/businesses happen to fire these truants(most likely south easterners) and replace them with willing workers from other regions(most likely) will you not even further scream marginalisation? Or will you stop government from employing or employees from receiving and carrying out their employment duties? This withdrawal protestvshoukd not be a matter of force and, as a matter of fact, is obviously not well-thought through. Good luck to y'all, though. Some entertainment coming up. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Alcatraz003: Is it yorubas that are liked? yorubas are slaughtered in the north but they secretly cry and bury their dead cos of cowardice. The northerners even deal with the yoruba muslims during riots that usually flee into sabon gari for safety where there is large population of Igbos and MB christians. The rest of the south have rejected the yorubas and even the north you hid behind to fight us are now calling you lots treachrous people and asking others to be very careful of you lots. 6 Likes |

UchaNwababa: Erm, not to get ahead of ourselves, Biafra isn't n official country, at least, not yet. You cannot shut down anywhere for one day without repercussion. You may attempt to but the Nigerian government will try to reset things to default settings with appropriate measures. |

LoveMachine: Imo, they're only telling people to stay at home for their own safety. If it really is true that the Nigerian security forces are bulking up then that spells danger for anyone who walks outside of their homes. Innocent people- both IPOB and non-IPOB members- have been murdered just for being in the same vicinity as the protests so it's not a far fetched idea that the Nigerian security forces will be shooting people at will. How is ensuring that as little as possible life is lost an example of tyrannical behaviour? 4 Likes |

Re: Ipob’s Threat Forces Bishops To Flee Anambra by MrMcJay(m): 10:38am On Sep 22, 2016 |
Any political movement that derives compliance from its members by use of force is a failed one. Let those that want to sit home be at home tomorrow, there is no problem with that. However, they shouldn't infringe on the rights of those who have decided not to sit at home. |

simplycarro:i agree with you. Even without bombing and without AK47. Niger Delta militants and Fulani herdsmen are not terrorists with their pipeline bombing and raping & killing people in their sleep. IPOB is a terrorist group because they are demanding the release of their leader without violence. Its orait. 2 Likes |

Yyeske:just for one day. People shut down Nigeria‘s economy when they go on strike. Doctors are on strike, am sure u support them even when nurses dont support them. Nigeria can do anything to protect their oil installations but will do nothing to protact Nigerians. IPOB is sitting at home just for one day to protest continued detention of their leader Nnamdi Kanu. So forget about sympathy. South Easterners have always survived Nigeria‘s bad economic policies that hurt SE economy. 4 Likes |

SamuelAnyawu:Why is your pattern of reasoning always warped? FYI, IPOB did not instigate the sit at home to spite the Anglican church rather it unfortunately coincided with their convention. Again, you cannot divorce the church from IPOB because they are one and the same since Easterners/Igbos are predominantly christians, also Bishop Chukwu of the Enugu Anglican Diocese is a vocal supporter of IPOB ideals same with many others in Catholic, Anglican, Methodist, Apostolic, Presbytherian etc unlike the traitor called Mbaka. The injustice against Igbos & the minorities of the Niger Delta must stop, we cant continue suffering in silence till infinity!! NOBODY CAN STOP AN IDEA WHOSE TIME HAS COME!!!! 1 Like |
