LorDBolton:This is the most enlighten and intelligent contribution i have seen in this forum. Myself is Igbo man and i think you can not force people to sit at home. It should be optional, if you so much believe in Biafra state, you can abide by the order, but if not, you go out for your business. Igbos are known to be independent minded (republican by nature), IPOB should not turn this struggle to be by force 2 Likes |

LoveMachine:You are not making sense so stop this I'm Igbo tantrum because nobody cares where you are from & for all we know, you might as well be an imposter! Revolutions from time immemorial requires sacrifice. We in the East can afford to sacrifice a day even if it means to starve a little so we can be in solidarity with someone who sacrificed his freedom & enjoyment for our collective good & also to help project our demand for independence or justice through resource control. WE THE REAL IGBOS SUPPORT IPOB & NNAMDI KANU SO WE WILL SIT AT HOME TOMMOROW!!! 3 Likes |

The Bishops had atleast One week notice to plan this their meeting not to fall within this one day stay at home order. Not in support of forcing them to stay at home, but clearly, they could have planned better to avoid this uneasy situation. 1 Like |

LoveMachine: this dude is just too stupid for my liking, talks like a saboteur, how will a one day shutting of the region make pple handicapped and unable to feed? when buhari increased petrol to 145 per lit u didnt bother on how pple feed. when fulani herdsmen killed our brothers u didnt bother on how pple will feed. when nnamdi kanu was arrested on october 14 last year and buhari has not been able to find a concrete evidence against him u didnt bother. when catholic reverends were killed in enugu by fulani herdsmen and buhari and fg didnt say any thing substantial to the attack you didnt bother. if u ever support biafra, how do u think the restoration can be obtained if not for or through peaceful demonstartion. oh, now i know, u are smarter than the rest of us in the struggle. dont worry i know cowardice is obtainable everywhere. say no to injustice. 1 Like |

Timbuktou: They are advising people to stay at home. No one is being forced to do anything against their will. The bishops are only lamenting over the inconvenience of the whole thing, that's all. I'm sure that you'll get a few people here and there going about their usual business in the East. You don't really believe that every single person in the South-East, Igbo or non-Igbo, will be forced to stay indoors, do you? 1 Like |

LoveMachine: Please do not join in false rumour. I understand that the stay at home protest is billed for tomorrow 23/09/2016 so, how can you say they are harassing anybody already? The Bishops decided to call of their meetings, not that IPOB asked them not to meet. From experience, the security forces might begin their unwarranted confrontation and arrests which could lead to violence. I don't blame the Bishops for calling off their meeting. Wait until tomorrow before you can say whether people are harassed or stopped from moving about by force. Remember that the last time such orders were given, it was obeyed even in Lagos. Who forced those in Lagos ? It is not by force. Please post facts ! 2 Likes |
