In 2010 City offered Rooney 300k to lure him away, but United gave him only 250k to stay.

In 2013, Barca, PSG, Chelsea wanted to improve his 250k but Rooney had to endure another 7 months without an increament.

Even in 2010, Messi said Rooney was under paid.
Baba go and lie down already!!!... 2010 na how many years ago?
Compare Rooney of 2010 and Rooney of last year!

If the club was on earn as you perform basis, your lord would be collecting 1000 pounds per week currently.

What about goal.com and Manchester united official page majority of the fans want Rooney to be dropped. can you compare them to that useless page where a fool said he wants Rooney to start cos he wants someone from SAF Era to be present in the squad.

Most people who are on United official page and Goal.com followers don't know their right from their left. You will get worse moronic comments there.

If it were to be as you performed basis, Rooney would have earned 300k since 2006. If it is according to marketing basis, he would have earned 500k per week now. He has sold the highest shirts in EPL history.

You don't get it. The wages was given to him base on the demand and supply forces for Wayne Rooney at the time. So why should anyone blame the club?

Messi knows nothing about money we learnt that this year so his opinion is useless.

Any time Rooney contract issues comes up we are always in a situation were we can afford to let him walk.
So na him get leverage.
Read that article tess1 posted above and see the financial benefit Rooney has to gain by staying with us.

Abeg you people are wasting my time.

I blame Rooney for sacrificing himself to help in the rebuilding process. He should have gone in 2013 and play among superstars. Not these kids that spoilt the leggs of RVP, Ferdinand, etc. See Evra and Nani took off at the right time.

Bye!

Come back here baba!!!

Tell us why ur lord cannot go presently, yes he can't cos he's a plague and you know what that means!

How did that cash Mercenary sacrifice himself for the club, when he's yet to figure out that he's one of the deadweight pulling the club down, and step up his game or take the honourable path like the legendary Gary!

The club is the one sacrificing to keep shrek in the show,he shoulda been booted out way before now!

The club has gained more from Rooney than we got from him. He has sold the highest replica shirts in EPL history. The forces of demand and supply determined his wages. He deserves it.

Only now that the mediocres we brought to the club spoilt his 'legs'. They did same to Falcao and RVP too. Almost killed Di Maria, but he was sensisible to run away. grin

It is a United fan page dedicated to Jose Mourinho's era in the club. It's first about the club.

This is unlike your redcafe or Sun news where Liverpool fans run the show.

Oh! so you expected them to be posting Chelsea or Real Madrid matches.

Man Utd isn't about Jose Morinho. Coaches come and go. Show me where anything about Man Utd's history is mentioned there. Everything on that page is about Morinho.

rooney got only two legs not 11 and you ppl must think that since euro roo was just rested for one game and now you are opening your big mouth saying he is not perfoming as if he is the only player whos not doing good ok what about luke shaw all the goals are coming from the left wing, fellaini very slow a giving up the ball cheaply and doesn't go forward or give accurate passes, no holding the ball in him just alot of back passes, pogba he doesnt worth the money we used in him, very slow, no pace, trying to play like messi with only 2 shots on target for the past 5 games...... stop blaming rooney because he is the captain,

I want Rooney to play....I know he isn't in form....but I still want him to play. And if not him then Carrick atleast. I want someone form the Man Utd of SAF era. Nd only 3-4 players are left who were regulars under SAF. I want them to be the link between the past, present and future. And I want them to make us(fans) feel, that Man Utd is still there and will not fade like Liverpool did.

He can choose to play anyone dropping Rooney doesn't means he's bad for the match we are Man Utd Win together lose together blame no one the pitch decides who the boss is.... Only thing I would ever blame for the cause of a lose is bad officiating so that better go well today ... Go lads go team go man utd # GGMU

I'm not agreeing to that decision. Rooney is not to blame but our coach. He has no team of his own neither does he have playing tactics. Let him change the approach and stop this blame game. Rooney should play.

No it's unfair to heap all the blame on rooney there' 11 players in a team and most of them didn't perform rooney was rested thursday and look at that pathetic display drpo fellaini play carrick at holding midfield and free pogba up to suppirt the front men

It seems Mourinho has run out of ideas.. blaming players all the time,Mkhitaryan isn't happy but he's a good player, Schweinsteiger has never been given chance,Luke Shaw and now it's Rooney ..this should come to an end let him just the formation and putting players in their right position.

No he's is still good bt needs time n we don't have time n tell him just to be in penality area he will surely score bt he's still playing like a midfielder cos there's no player to push the ball forward even pogba n we all know fellaini can't push ball forward

Our coach needs to change his strategy and formation... We can't continue relying on our wingers to continue crossing ball to Ibrahimovich because all eyes would be on him and dey would be able to read what he would do and stop him try 4-4-2 formation... And as for Rooney he needs a time out of the first team squad

Jacobdinho Gariga Jrn
He dropped Him vs Feyenoord and we lost so that doese not make sense......
I think people dont reason well....

This is a big lie. All the hourly stories on that page are about Rashford, Ibrahimovic, DDG, Bailly, Herrera, etc. The players and little about the coach. There appear to even be more SAF's posts than Mourinho.

From my investigation so far, the page was opened when Gaal was sacked. When I have time I will look at it properly.

The most important thing is the interest of the posters about the club. They are even blaming Mourinho for the team's poor play.

"The page was opened when Gaal was sacked" This buttresses my point that it is not a Man Utd Fans page. So Man Utd Fans started existing immediately after Gaal was sacked when most people already knew JM was going to be the next coach.

Do you expect them to be posting stories related to Terry, Willian, Costa, Azpi, Oscar and all other Chelsea players when he's Man Utd coach? I shake my head for you on that comment.

You see why i say something is wrong with that elampiro guy... So i should dismiss papers that have existed since the premier league was there... have shaped English and Manchester United football in one way or another for a Facebook page that came into existence months ago and among thousands of non authority Facebook pages out there because that is where only the sensible fans exist on the Internet. I could see Idiots there say things like Rooney can't be dropped because he's one of the last links we have to SAFs era... the same SAF who could see the fat granny fvcker was finished and was gradually fizzling him out.... some other brainless mofug said he must play because he is a 'Legend'.... This is where Elampiro visits and comments on a daily basis. Now we have found his level.
