The midfield is without Rooney and Fellaini. It's only natural we responded after the many loses. The last game helped to prepare us for this.

Remember, we beat this Leicester team before when Mourinho was still assemblying this team.

Rooney and fellaini are exactly the people that we don't need in our midfield. I had always thought fellaini was not a Man United type but was impressed with him in the few games he had played for us but still you got to admit that those of us who have criticized Rooney were not witch hunting him.

All we need now is for Mourinho to have the balls to bench Rooney more and hope the fluidity with which we are playing today even improves.

What I see about Jose is that he is ready to improve himself and the team. That's good enough. I need more of those slick passes. It's nice to score from set pieces (3 goals) but I need to see more from open play. I am impressed though.

Those players you mentioned were horrible, especially Simpson. Only Fuchs was an exception.

Kante, Vardy, Mahrez, Morgan and to some extent, Fuchs were their best player.. Their best midfielder, if not their best player Kante has left, Fuchs is ageing so fast while Mahrez looked clueless without Kante.

I will wait till I see a better midfield opposition team than Drinkwater and AMarte especially one without Okazaki to do any pressing until I jump ship.

The midfield hasn't been really awesome though, so I don't get all the creaming over their performance. It was just a good performance against an awful 2-man midfield without Okazaki pressing.

The best player in the 1st half was Blind for me. He was fantastic both defensively and offensively even without his set-pieces.
