Hello all. I got to the UK yesterday 21st September. Flew medview airline @N172k, landed at Gatwick. They wanted to kill us with food. Lol
One advice, when you're packing your bags, do not use pack foods and clothes in separate bags. Maybe put some clothes on top of the food. Nigerian customs asked for a 4k bribe and I eventually dropped 2k after some begging. (Buhari should look into this. Lol).
At the border, queue was extremely long. The IO only asked what I came for, what course I'm studying, at which school, if I already have accommodation. Then he wished me a nice stay!

We were on the same flight. The Pilots announcement that made me LOL, was when he advised those that were willing to sleep, not to worry, saying nothing would happen.

@Justwise pls can i print oanda rate for the day i applied online and made payments and attachit to my bank statement? Since u said ukvi uses dt day rate to calculate closing bal on our bank statement. Also my statement ws printed on 8th sept to get my Cas issued, can i use same statement or quickly print anoda one on monday from the bank with recent date on it? Police character certificate or some also call it police clearance certificate.

It is a certificate that would be needed(you will need to get it from Nigeria or you can also apply online if you are already in UK) when you are trying to apply for a security license in Uk.

Yes printed another one in the morning before goig to the VAC. But printed from August 1-september 8 my 28days ended on 28th of August. And decided to extend it to sept 8th so the VO can still know i still have the funds in excess from day one to that day.

Tnx Dgirl but how many days did it take for the processing all together

It took 7 working days exactly to get s decision mail from Sheffield but TLS didn't give me my documents on time because my collection estimated time fell during the public holiday which delayed my document collection

The great news now is I'm in England. POE was smooth, we were a lottt that landed at the same time so they tried to make it as quick as possible, it's getting cold here so get ready. I wish the rest of you trying to get your visa success and thanks for the advice here
