I would not take that information seriously cos

(1) that was written in 2014.... The information is so old

(2) the sample email of which the writer made his conclusion were for students in turkey.... Process could be different.

Don't give yourself high bp when your decision mail comes and start scrutinising every detail of the email unnecessarily.

The only way you can know as of now 2016 if you have a successful tier 4 visa application is only when you collect your documents.

Really? If this is so applicants can easy use it as an indicator in knowing the outcome of their visa application before the collection of their processed application package. Please are you going to receive the refund to the account number you presented for evidence of fund? Also, how long will it take to receive this refund for health insurance surcharge counting from the day one receives the decision made email/update?

I tried this thing too. but the truth is the only way to know is to wait patiently till the day you get your documents

dunno how long it takes. it will be sent to thw same account as soon as desicion has been made

i applied for my first visa in august last year and was denied, i didnt get my refund for ihs, i re-applied in december and had to pay another ihs fee, got my visa in january, i didn't get my refund for the ihs for the visa that was denied in august until febuary this year. just wait till you get your documents. over anxiety makes the mind get negative. just take ur mind away from it and focus on something else, just one day you dont expect you'll get the email

Hello all,

A quick update(because I dey vex). Went to the TSL office today and I was told that my documents haven't arrived yet. I have called UKVI twice today and they insisted that decision has been made since on the 11th and it is the responsibility of the Nigerian office to contact me and send my documents. That they can only escalate it if after a couple of weeks I am yet to receive my documents. Ithen receive the email below from them.
Ok, I give up.

Thank you for contacting the UK Visas and Immigration International Enquiry
Service.

We understand that you would like to know about the current status of your
visa application. I have tracked the status (GWFxxxxx and date of birth
xxxxx) and found that the application has been processed and it should
be with you in the next few days.

to reach you whilst being sent back from the decision making centre and
whilst other administrative formalities are completed. The visa application
centre will be in contact with you regarding the collection or delivery.

If you have purchased a courier service then your documents will be

^^^^emmalebgus, have you sent a mail to your school informing them of what is going on? What was their response?

I would suggest you also forward the mail gotten from the UkVi to your school.

Any subsequent emaik you may be sending to UKVi, always cc your school till you get your documents.

At this point, you need to more prayerful. Good luck.

Nothing to worry about dear, it simply means they may not be able to process your documents within the stipulated 15 working days. This maybe because they need more time on your documents to check out some more information or it could just be due to so many other applicants documents they need to deal with.

Remember, worrying solves nothing, only prayer can be effective. So at this point, be more prayerful.

From what I have gathered here, if it is a refusal, there will be an immediate refund. Since the decision was made on the 11th, they should have completed the refund process by now, except if the refusal was an after thought.

Well that's a nice one there. If they wanted to return the IHS fees, by now it should have been in your account, i agree with you. Just pray that those guys in TLS quickly give you the documents.

Hi All,

Finally arrived Liverpool yesterday night.

Just routine questions

My School, my course of study, and where am to collect my BRP,

My bags were not searched, was only asked about my CAS while leaving Dubai , the emirates official scrutinised my passport like mad. And was asking where I applied and that where else visa could be applied for ? ( jamb question *in simi's voice)

It was all a wonderful experience until I was told to pay 5pence for nylon

Hello all. I got to the UK yesterday 21st September. Flew medview airline @N172k, landed at Gatwick. They wanted to kill us with food. Lol
One advice, when you're packing your bags, do not use pack foods and clothes in separate bags. Maybe put some clothes on top of the food. Nigerian customs asked for a 4k bribe and I eventually dropped 2k after some begging. (Buhari should look into this. Lol).
At the border, queue was extremely long. The IO only asked what I came for, what course I'm studying, at which school, if I already have accommodation. Then he wished me a nice stay!
