Just checked in at MM2. Waiting for my flight.
Didn't experience any difficulty just that I had to rearrange my bags.

The customs just asked how much I am traveling with ( incase I needed to declare). Where I was going to and for what.

My bag was searched also (I saw many students. As I see some food stuff I shock) I took food stuffs will list them later

For all those still awaiting decision. Fizzle mrsdan sassy

All the best

Wishing you Allah favour

@ MrsDaniels: Has your friend received her documents, ma'm?
Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 3 by emmalebgus: 4:15pm On Sep 20, 2016
Well, I just called the UKVI office now. They said that a decision has been made since on Sunday the 11th of September. I wonder why TSL didn't send me an email or update the the Track. It is still showing that decision hasn't been made yet.
Shall be there first thing tomorrow.

OlowoB:

Well, since you paid for priority, as at the time you applied, you still had time. Why not go and check your documents physically at the office if you applied in Lagos.

If you are able to get the documents today, you can still travel tomorrow and do your registration ASAP.

All the best.

Please did you ask them if they have sent your documents down? or better still, did you ask if the UKVI notification is sufficient to make one dispense with the decision mail from Sheffield?

Hello all, submitted my application at Abuja on the 6th of September, priority application. No decision letter yet. Any body in similar situation as me? School has resumed on the 5th but registration must be completed on the 23rd of September, though I didn't state that in the application.
Should I be really worried?
Call the post graduate office and ask for an extension, explain to them. they'll grant you an extension.

And lo and behold, i got up thinking of how the interview will look like and to be honest i was pretty tensed. Thinking of how i will twist my lips and unleash some queen's English. Omor no be small tension grab me like girl wey dey grab shawama. At about 9 am, i got a call from a lady at ukeas informing me that i will need to photocopy my documents and have a passport too but on a second though i contacted Mcstar and she told me she didnt do all that. Well i was like to be on the safe side let me just do photocopies.
Left the house around to 10 to make photocopies but got to some business centres and their machines were all bad...omor na that time i know say the devil wey dey watch me dey watch with better HD and na 3D him dey use sef grin grin. Past ten i still dey waka round dey find where to photocopy and around 10:45am i got a place and make the photocopies of which at the end of the day i didnt submit.
Got a cab to take me to the TLS Abuja and at that point i know the devil had remixed his plan for me that day. I was like e no go happen for you. This cab guy didnt even know where i was going...he was busy taking me round and round as if i came for a tour round Abuja. I kept on telling this young man that i have an interview by 11.30 and need to be there by 11.15. I kept losing patience cos it was beginning to piss me off. by 11:12 i was able to locate the building from afar and thats how we were able to locate the venue. Was supposed to give the guy 300naira but i didnt know when i jumped out of the cab and gave him 200naira and ran straight to the gate.. A couple of guys ran to me all in the name of making photocopies, what was in my mind at that moment was just crazy.
Straight to the interview.. well i checked in then got to the reception and checked in my application form and passport...got all my documents in a bag provided by the staff there. Saw some guys forming janded...some chics forming janded and forming over-Behind.. I was like who out of all these people is a nairalander. i was as mute as a mice. Had my biometrics then went to the waiting room for my interview.
When it got to my turn, i walked majestically like a guy who is walking down the aisle...no be small aisle... tongue tongue..... I walked into the room and sat down, picked up the headset and started the interview with a white guy...probably via skype. I expected the normal though.

- What course i did in my undergraduate
- Why the UK

- Did u send in an IELTS or TOEFL (Well i told him i sent in my WAEC)

At the end we exchanged pleasantries, and na so i give the guy better thumbs up unto niggar na...lololzzzzz... and indeed he smiled.

Hopefully am expecting a positive decision Godwilling and surely my transcript will come up once again.

U.K. Student visa might be stressful but I think it is the easiest to get from Nigeria when compared to countries like USA, Canada, Australia etc

Lmao yes o. Aww and I was like she's so nice when you said good luck to me..The other interviewer looked like he didn't come to play and his interview was longer. The lady that had our documents with her calling us in made a mistake with my visa number, but I corrected her and the interviewer also said it was corrected. Prayers up! Good luck to us and every other person. Have an amazing day dear

Lmao I did o. Devil wanted to use her. Told her to correct it and the interviewer said it was already on her system corrected.
I'm hoping we get decision mail by Friday. Paid for priority too. School resumes Monday.

@fizzle, you too much, your story cracked me up. It will end in praise.

And to all of you guys who have gotten your visa's and now in uk or preparing to go, please don't just leave and not show face on this thread again o, remember the January guys and other students still coming to UK in future will need your help.

You guys have the most recent experience and should help other students coming over in January by contributing when the time comes.

Shalom.[/quote]

- My name and date of birth
- What course i did in my undergraduate
- Why the UK
- Why Coventry
- Did u send in an IELTS or TOEFL (Well i told him i sent in my WAEC)
- and of what relevance the course will be to me.
At the end we exchanged pleasantries, and na so i give the guy better thumbs up unto niggar na...lololzzzzz... and indeed he smiled.
