It depends on how long the extension is, have you gotten your CAS already, is your money in the bank for 28 days already, have you done your TB test etc

If you have all the above and the school has given you an extension and indicated it on your CAS, you can still apply for visa.

The ECO should be able to see it on your CAS (since it is a virtual document) that you have been given an extension.

I am hoping the extension is like 2 weeks, you can still do priority.

You will be given a headset and you will see the person who is asking you questions via a screen and you will be asked if you can hear them clearly befire and after the interview.

Trust me, any Nigerian student who passed through Univeristy will never struggle with the English. From reports I have gathered, the English is very clear and if there is anything you don't understand, you can ask them to say it again.

I used Abuja visa office too. Yeah you can actually get your visa before 17th if you pay for priority. Mine took exactly 7days. To pay for priority, you will have to register with a TLS agent after you have paid for your visa. You will see it there on your application page. After registering on the TLS page, you will go to added value services and you will select priority service then make your payment. Please try to be fast with it. Please make sure you confirm all your documents before going for your interview. If you need guidance, we can also give you some guide so you dont make some errors. This thread has all it takes to help anyone here. If you have your interview on the 5th and u pay for priority, latest 12th or 13th you will get your visa.

From experience na like 3 working days after that mail before courier returned your passport. So na Tuesday mostly likely oo. If you are in hurry you can call DHL customer care in Lagos(08039077000). They can arrange for a collection for you.

It's been 2 weeks since passport was submitted after admin review was successful. Is it meant to take this long ? I called them but was just a waste of time and £25 just fly like that lol

I disagree with you. TLS Abuja is very effective, probably those at Lagos are ineffective. Mine took exactly 5 working days for a decision to be made and I picked it up on the 7th day. So I will still suggest she goes for priority.

JMU Liverpool just told me they cannot extend the latest date of enrolment for me because the money in my account is just 10 days. The only bank statement i can have access to now is that of my sister and uncle, and I'm very sure they will be willing to write letters for me. I also have family pictures to prove this.

What do I do? So confused right now.

Uncles and sisters account is not acceptable. You can use that of your parents. If your school is not willing to give you an extension, why not just wait till January? We are in October already tomorrow, and you will be left with just 2 months before January.

Infact, by the end of November, you can submit your application for visa. By all means, try and beg your school to give you an extension and if they don't, wait till January.

At this stage, let me give you my own opinion. It is better to be patient till January (just 2 months away) than to risk paying almost 300k for application fees (IHS fees not included) and be denied.

You can start tracking after you received the mail that ur document ha been dispatched. Ain't sure if they are working on public holiday. Call that Number, it is customer care and you can get any info as regards DHL services

olowoB, regardless of the fact that we are both in scotland, we havent met but i got to say this, God bless you for ansering this in a civilized manner. some people would have said something like "you will neva get a visa if you try that" to someone who is juat trying to look for a way out, all in the name of "stating facts".

And this goes to everyone out there who has heard things like "your school is not one of the russel group uni" "you cant get a job with that certificate" bla bla bla, one thing i have to say is, "man no be God". RGU had 97% (highest in the UK) post graduate employability in 2013/2014. yet it wasn't even among top 50 then. yet someone would come to nairaland and begin to decide who will and who wont get the jobs. since na them be board of directors of all the companies in the UK

* Hope there is not going to be any hitch in issuing visa or Is my application good to go using the super priority?

* Please what is the approximate amount super priority will cost in naira?

* Please, guys that have paid for value added service, they are asking for a security code on the payment page, what will I put? or is it pin?

There's no need for super priority per say. If you can submit on Monday, decision should be Friday/Saturday, then you have till next Friday to collect your documents. Then you can travel that weekend
But that is, if you can submit on Monday

To answer your questions;

iii. Security code should be the last 3 digit at the back of your card

Thanks bro...I have missed almost two weeks of lectures. Also, for the normal appointment the next available date is next week Friday and considering how TLS has been delaying collection......
