So after salaries, you guys still get free food, and anything small thing next we hear is strike, strike. If you don't want the food, go and buy for yourself.

Truth is,govt ( most especially Nigerian )should have no business running hospitals, schools and any form of institution.

Secondly,we africans are sub -animals.
We dont maintain our cars, our homes, our body etc.
All we do is use, misuse& abuse.

So what i am saying basically is,government is a collection of you &I in authority.

So OP,if you are made CMD will things be better?
Be honest!

This is serious. Thank God I school in UMTH. After all the hyping of UBTH? I'm very disappointed. Based on infrastructures and facilities, northern schools are way ahead of there southern counterparts... The CMDs should be held accountable

An average doctor in cuba earns $26(11,200 naira) a month.
the average doc in Cuba earns $26 however all other things needed by d doc is handled by d govt. Car, housing etc. U r unaware of d immense sacrifices D Nigerian docs make all in d name of his patients. Up to d extent of donating money n blood for their patients at d same time bearing sidetalks n insults from allied health workers that mk it seem like he is related to the patient or has a personal take in it. Operating on a patient with torchlight n phones when it wld b easier to walk away. Bottom line, d Nigerian doctor gives selfless sacrifice.

Hope Buhari will cruise nairaland today & preferably before he travels to Germany

Quick question,
How would you feel if you rushed a relative or someone close to you to the hospital as an emergency, and you're told that there's no Dr in the emergency ward because the Dr went outside the hospital to buy food to eat?
At least he's also a human being and also has basic needs, so he must eat.

Those that get to be fed by the hospital are the Drs on call. Calls in teaching hospitals usually starts from the morning till the next day. Some do 48hr to 72 hours call.
How do they feed during this time? Do they have to keep going out to go and eat? Don't forget that canteens close regular office hours in hospitals and don't even open weekends

for your information, the average govt hospital in this country is still running today because of these same "innovations" they have been forced to make .Many times, they are even forced to do things hospitals in developed countries will tag as unethical just to keep seeing patients. U are here asking for more like say dem be miracle workers. Make dem go dey use dia xray vision to dey investigate patients who need imaging studies abi? Mtchewww!!! It pisses me off when people advertise this kind of mentality yet keep comparing our medical services with that of developed nations.
