And who is disputing he is not a 'Legend'?

What we are saying is Rashidi Yekini is more legendary than Kanu Nwankwo when it comes to Nigerian football. Simple!
So playing in Nigeria league makes one more legendary to the other. kan-u believe this smh. Maybe in future we hear something like Stanley okoro is more legendary than Iheancho cos he played in NPFL

fifa has always been biased in giving individual awards based on club form than country.
For example, George Weah came second behind Ronaldo in the 1996 award purely based on his exploits with Ac Milan, whatever he did with Liberia was not in the blue print atall obviously because war-torn Liberia, I strongly doubt played any international game durring that period.

Kanu didn't get on the top 10 list because of his Olympics form, but because of his exploits at ajax. Ask yourself this question, had kanu been playing for Slovan liberec and he won the Olympics gold medal, will he have been considered in a FIFA merit list of top 10 world best in 1996? I need an honest answer

I did not say Kanu was there purely because of his Olympics heroics. I said, FIFA recognised his Olympics heroics. He was rated as among the best players in the World because of his Ajax and Olympics performances.

FIFA also recognised the Atlanta '96 performance of our team. That was why they were rated among the best two teams in the World with Ajax.

Kanu's exploits with Ajax and the Nigerian Olympics team was huge.

Tottenham schooled Manchester City yesterday and the person Orchestrating the game was Dele Alli.

Soon, we will lose better ones due to na my brother system of selecting players.

We do not need a player like Dele Alli. His allegiance lies with England.

When it comes to football and Nigerians who achieved a lot on football, Kanu is more legendary than Yekini.

Kanu from Ajax, to Inter Milan to Arsenal played with some of the best players of the game.

Olympic was part of it, don't forget finidi was part of the Ajax team but Kanu won the APOTY and was included in world top 10, if it was base on club form alone then finidi won come before Kanu that year

Is that the only thing you noticed on Rashidi Yekini's profiles?

Sorry, Nigerian Premier league had more value than EPL in 60s,70s and early 80s.

Ask Pele and Santo of Brazil, they will tell you about the quality of Nigerian clubs during those era.

George Weah was amazing at AC Milan. He did not need International football to get to that level. Kanu did.

Kanu Nwankwo would not make that list without his Olympics heroics. The simple fact is that, FIFA recognised Kanu's heroics.

Now, show me what he won with the Nigerian National team.

How come CAF best players emerged while playing in African league sometimes ago?

Kanu is one of the most accomplished African Footballers of all time. You must not win with the Super Eagles to become an accomplished Nigerian footballer.

Stop using National team. Use Super Eagles. The U17, U20, Olympics and Super Eagles are all National teams.

Eto has won APOTY more than Roger Milla but Roger Milla is regarded as a Legend in Cameroun ahead of Eto. Sorry.

Although, Kanu Nwankwo is a Legend in Arsenal but he is below Rashidi Yekini in the Legendary status in Nigeria.

Roger Milla is a legend and we adore his contribution to the development of African football.

Compared to Eto'o come on. From the top of my head.

Nations cup in Nigeria Ghana 2000. The Sidney Olympics in 2000. The Champions league, La Liga and Copa Del Rey Under Guardiola at Barcelona, the treble under Mourinho at Inter Milan.

Haba. Eto'o was remarkable.

You may go ask any Cameroonian and they will tell you Roger Milla. Because he brought more glory to them than Eto in terms of national team.

Why do you think they called an 39 years old man from retirement to represent them in the world cup?

If Ovie Ejaria pledges his international future to England, I wish him the best. At least he showed commitment to play for us.

I hope he has a great career. That does not mean we are lost. We still have good talents in that role and we can push them ourselves.

Players like Ifeanyi Matthew, Obinna Nwobodo, Chidebere Nwakali, Kelechi Nwakali. These are all good players and can help build a great Super Eagles.

Even though I wanted Ovie to play for us, I did not think he would walk into our team or have an easy ride. The competition is high.
