If I've not been to most of the northern part of the country nii, I would say this old and naughty fellow is right. Oga Yakassi or whatever you are called. Please, I beg you in the name of Allah, don't bring more discord to this country. Good man like Buhari from the north is trying all his best to do the re-building, but it saddened my heart that people like you from the north that was suppose to help him, is busy running your mouth up and down like a tap water. Baba Buhari please continue your good work. SW is fully behind you. And as for my SE brothers, listen, "if you can't beat them, you join them". A word is enough ooooo 2 Likes 1 Share |

Our non-violence ''hairy chest'' agitation for it is the reason why the North remain inbalance. Many of such agitation is what the south are benefitting today. From resource control, derivation and others--the North are more scared of the Yoruba's intellect than the Igbo's violence approach nwabekeyi: 3 Likes |

I think its time to set the record straight, because i can see that history has been distorted largely due to the abolishment of history education in our various schools. Now to fully understand this we have to go back to the very beginning where the leader of the then eastern region Dr Nnamdi Azikwe who actually started his political career among the yorubas turned against the very tribe that made him politically and ganged up with the north when he supported the then premier of the north sir Tafawa Balewa by agreeing to there demand for a parliamentary system of government as against true federalism where every tribe and every region should maintain there distinct identity and to be able to control there resource which ever way they dimmed fit.this was what the west through chief Obafemi Awolowo wanted, but the greed for power made Azikwe and the igbos to reject the Yoruba's idea all because the north promised him the position of president but unknown to the Igbos or due to there desperation for power they forgot that in a parliamentary system of government the prime minister holds the power leaving the so called president with only ceremonial powers.i will stop here for now and allow all this gullible easterners to make there comments to judge for themselves because it was your leaders who first aligned with the north.i will come back with more facts 12 Likes 4 Shares |

This northerns are very audacious. Yorubas are not envious of the north. if the who south is calling for restructuring it is because after many years of ruling nigeria the north have taken so much of nigeria. And when we say north we are talking about the fulani dominated north not jos benue and taraba and the likes who are considered north only when convenient. i mean look how far the north spans. 1 Like 1 Share

This man should be restrained in a straitjacket before he selfdestructs over Yoruba matter. Is he not the same codger who gets his 5mins of fame by deriding Yoruba? The instances he mentioned is a plus for us;it shows that Yoruba over the years have stuck to their gun and are unwilling to sacrifice what they believe in for political positions. I know the inverted minds of those cavorting in schadenfreude woun't make 'em see this. The question is,when did restructuring became a bad thing? 2 Likes 1 Share |

I am so surprised the way some people are responding to the shallow talk from Yakassai. Even those who should know refuse to learn. It is unfortunate Nigeria is made up of unequally yoked people. Some people want good governance while some people care only for themselves. Yoruba has demonstrated what they can do when given the opportunity to do so. Right from the time of Awolowo to Tinubu, the Western region is developed above any region in Nigeria, no wonder every Tom, Dick and Harry find it gratifying to attack the Yoruba even without provocation. Yoruba has been agitating for a better Nigeria, that is what restructuring is all about. Somebody said Jonathan should have continued, I disagree with that: " According to the American constitution, if you acted as a president for two years before the election you can only go for a single term of 4years." This should be applicable to Jonathan, after all, he begged for a single term. Yoruba believe in what is just, what is right, no matter what anybody can do or say can change that. Western region remains the most peaceful region in Nigeria. If you say, we should have supported another northerner instead of Buhari I will agree with you. 7 Likes |

Yakassai, you mean the Yorubas' support of Buhari election success was also a ploy and envy? Are you kidding me? Are you saying they are hypocrite? Tighten my seat belt in this era, missiles could go any direction. Waiting to hear from my Yorubas die-hard Nairalanders Buhari supporters. It is a shame you know! When somebody you support with all your strength, zeal, might, spirit, body and soul reject and deny you outright. You have nothing to do than to cover your face in shame. I always try to respect elders, but other than heating up the polity, this man, Tanko Yikes, puts the "S" in useless. He's no good at all. No common sense, no wisdom, no nothing! People like this dolt and their short-circuited brains are the reason why a lot of northern youths behave so erratic and vindictively, forgetting nobody owes them shiiit. The other one is prof.
