Different people will have different lists. If you ask someone who was there when Nigeria won the nations cup in 1980 , they will probably add a few players to the top ten list.

There is no need to attack anyone for their opinions or to denigrate any player as some of us seem to be doing.

Oya, let us talk about the present

7 Questions : As The Super Eagles Battle Zambia

Gernot Rohr might have started his campaign as Eagles Coach with a win but has the German truly found his best team for the qualifiers ?

After just one game in which to assess his players how will the coach line out his charges against the Zambians ?

As we start our qualifying campaign 7 questions beg answers and should give us insight !

I wonder why calling a spade what it is causes you to lash out like this.

Considering you've never been part of the "my brother is great because he's my brother" brigade, it makes me wonder. Only a guilty party should be vexed.

An indictment on one is not an indictment on all.

Btw, my father who has watched Nigerian football far longer than any of you kids on this thread says that any Top 10 list without the likes of Thunder Balogun, Amasieamaka, and Gideon Nduka as Nigeria's Greatest is a rubbish list.

So, you kids wanking over lesser players like Kanu and Yekini need to keep your baseless opinions to yourself rather than throw it around as 'fact'.

EOD

@bolded, I am sorry to say, is just from the figment of your imagination, coined from your thought, an indictment of postulation and it put you as guilty as your accuser, even much more. Sorry!

Well, Redeem yourself with proven fact that what you 'postulated' is truly what your accuser is guilty of and deserving of any indictment.

'my brother is great because he's my brother

Who said that? '

Is this not your reflection?

Ur turf might be a problem. U guys really should use natural grass. Also Rangers MUST keep Imama. Such beautiful football.

It was really the turf. U nailed it. Synthetic turfs are always inimical to play in, especially when wet. I think he slipped, and was trying to maintain his balance and also control the ball while accelerating at a high speed...then he ended up with a fractured limb.

It was grass before but trust Nigeria with there quality control. They couldn't maintain it.

Gospel truth that what?

Who doesn't know d olympic is an age grade competition.

It is down graded yet Neymer and Brazil celebrated as though they have won the World cup.
So we should keep celebrating an age grade competition after 20 years because Neymar and Brazil celebrated it like a world cup?
I hope Argentina are still celebrating their 2008 success and making songs and dance about it.

If there is one thing I've learnt all these years, it's that some people's sole purpose is to rile others up. It's like an aphrodisiac to them, just watching others get riled up

That's why I won't even give them the opportunity, once I don talk my own, talk haff finish. I cannot waste my intellect by going back and forth with anyone here, especially those with rigid stance.
The sooner some people realise that about others, the sooner we will all learn to not pile up pages with round-about arguments.

You are not always right, let's all agree to disagree once in a while.

............Nacho
Simon. Iwobi. Ideye

another phrase conjured from the figment of her imagination, is 'rile up'.

I have learned that one can never win a case when one expresses ones emotions, thought, feelings and postulation in a matter without an iota of substantial evidence.

It is the rudiment of law.

For now, there is a big space with an aging Fernandinho and Fernando not keeping up with the pace. Shocking but the City pivot role is open for a young prolific player.

If City beats Liverpool to Dahoud, Chidi can still get his chance from rotation. The space is there for Chidi. I hope they can sort his work permit issue.

Well, it looks more likely that City will go shopping to fill that space.

Brazil will still be celebrating that win even in 20years time.

Argentina are still celebrating their 2008 Success.

England recently celebrated 50yrs after winning the world cup.

Nigeria has long moved on from that Atlanta win but we will continue to celebrate it in years to come. FIFA even celebrated the 20th anniversary with us this year on the FIFA official website.

No matter what you and some others here say about that victory, it cannot diminish it's magnitude in the heart of Nigerians that withnessed it.

Is it the same Brown Aide Ideye or another?

Abegi, i am not always moved by all these flash in the pan players. We have tried for Ideye abeg. After several recycling? On that day now, he will not even have one shot at goal.

Iheanacho should lead the attack.

I was only re-arranging your front four....

I don't see how Ideye will start in any other position than in the no.9 role.... (That's if he will start at all).

And I don't see Rohr playing Nacho from the flanks... Nacho is much deadlier through the middle... So that may shift Iwobi a bit out-wide...

But ofcos, iwobi and Nacho could always switch positions to confound the opponents depending on game situations... They are both capable of doing such as I witnessed some synergy and chemistry between them onfield when they took on luxembourg.

Looooolllllll...... *here's my current thread destination stop* lollll

Happy new day to you Sir Justiz5... smiley

Good to read your comments again. And yep.... I'm just laughing at the Zambians. Actually you don't blame them... Do you? Lolll...
They have to gather morale from somewhere, somehow, you know... wink

Truth is, "they are kinda scared"

They saw Mikel at Rio 2016. They see Vic Moses, Nacho, Iwobi, Ighalo, and Success every weekend in the Epl...

They are so glad Isaac, Victor Moses and Ighalo won't show up due to reasons known to us.

I hope to see us beat them in Ndola so as to send a message to the rest of Africa.

Beating Zambia and winning our next game afterwards will gradually bring back "the fear factor" usually associated with the name "SUPER EAGLES" and make our opponents shiver even before we step onto the pitch.

We need to win. We need to try and qualify for Russia 2018. But We also need that fear factor back in full force.... smiley

The battle of Ndola.... Can't wait to see the "movie" wink

Thanks Boss

Wish you more
