quinn, I'd love you to simply try this, pick each of these beliefs, follow the tenets religiously... you'd see which one really is real! Was really hard hearted too o! But when I met Jesus, oh! It was so super obvious! And I hope you do too.. coz if you do, rather than stand puzzled at this thread, you'd only laugh and feel sorry for the numerous people still being cajoled by these atheistic views

Nice one OP, this thread requires a lot of rationality and most people don't have that. I have asked myself if one religion is right what will be the faith of others because in the two books I am familiar with the requirements are clearly stated. but again I don't care about where others end up I care about how I end up and that is what matters most. Too much confusion, I honestly think religion is a guideline so that people don't get out of line, because man didn't understand man so man created God before things get out of hand that's why most people will not sit down and question their faith. I try to live my life the best I could.

The only reason why man created religion is because of the fear of death, man don't want to die, they want to live forever, they want immortality, thats why they created bible stories of the garden of eden and the forbidden fruit and then created a fantasy about the existence of heaven and hell. This is the root of religion, how it started and why it started.

. But quinn I suggested an option.. I'm not trying to force Jesus or anything else on you.. I only told you what I feel would really set you into undeniable clarity as to what is and what's not.. you can't know the depth of water till you step into it.. and as to meeting Jesus! it's still one thing I'm thankful for.. you know what it feels like, having those promised assurances come out in reality on a steady! You just try out a couple of these religions... include christianity.. in doing this.. pay full attention to whatever your chosen religion is... follow and see.. as for me, in christ! And him alone.. my everything else is found o! think quinn.. rather Than be told the experience of meeting jesus, muhammad,Buddha or whatever, why not take the plunge!? See which one you can meet!??

Weekly, monthly,etc. Observe moon, sun, stars, etc. Wear certain dresses that arguably were worn by the initiators of the religion. Sometimes these dress were worn because of their weather conditions. Just imagine how foolish it would be for an Eskimo to wear a flowing gown.

Religion encourages you to defend your God or fight for him, kill for him, etc which is at variance with his avowed power to protect you.

My Dad was healed of 'chronic renal failure', my mother was healed of 'deficating blood' and my fiancee who has a big swell (Yoruba people call it 'koko ara') on one of her legs for about 25 years (from birth), the swell (bump) just got disappeared one faithful day.
