thegoodjoe, this is Isaac Success doing charity. I hope you understand what you talk about what you criticize these players unfairly next time. These players sacrifice a lot and continue to sacrifice

ISAAC SUCCESS GIVES BACK TO HIS COMMUNITY TEAM

Benin City fans were yesterday treated to scintillating football at the BJ Foundation academy ‘End of Year’ match, as former and current BJ FC players locked horns.

The match, which kicked off in the early morning at the Arinze Primary School playing field, ended 2-1 in favour of the ex-BJ players.

Isaac Success of FC Granada, Spain (who chose to play for the current BJ team) won a free kick midway into the first half just outside the edge of the BJ box and rose up to fire home a brilliant free kick to put BJ ahead.

After the game, awards were presented to players of the current BJ team who had distinguished themselves in 2014. The awards were presented and sonsored by two former Under-17 players, Isaac Success and Dele Alampasu.

Isaac Success later hosted fans, coaches and friends to a sumptuous lunch at his residence in the Dumez area of Benin City.

Did you post that article for me or for yourself? I already know players do charity and sacrifice. The question is, do you? Your the one who came here talking work must receive pay.

If the news is true that Success refused to pay his bills to fly to camp, then he is not ready for the challenges Super Eagles players face.

You cannot say he is not ready for the challenges of the Super Eagles when you cannot show that you can work without pay yourself. Stop encouraging corruption and incompetence.
I go with oga GoodJoe here. If the story is true, then success is not ready to face the challenges of the super eagles. No one is saying the NFF is right but we know how it has always been and it won't stop anytime soon. If success isn't able to stand this, what other antics of the NFF will he be able to withstand. Unpaid match bonus? Flying Economy? Being stranded?... Let's start with those who can cope first.
As to working without pay. I can't, depending on what is obtainable. Since I can't, then I am not ready for the challenges of the Job.

Is this suppose to be how you support what the NFF is doing? Players should pay for their flights because others are doing a lot of charity, and NFF can keep siphoning their money?

Wait...who told you Nigerian players don't do charity? Have you seen what Mikel, Musa, Ighalo, Success etc do to help the poor neighbourhood they come from and the less privileged? This is a new low from you.

I think this is another statement that proves my point, rather than disprove it.

I said, Super Eagles players make sacrifices to meet the challenges. So telling me players do make sacrifices proves my point.

We have a big corruption issue in the NFF. It was there during Westerhof's time. Super Eagles make sacrifices to succeed. That is not supporting the NFF. That is determination to succeed.

GOAL SCORING PROBLEMS? NOT WHEN YOU
HAVE IWOBI & IHEANACHO, SAYS ROHR

Coach of the Super Eagles Gernot Rohr has
played down fears that the Nigeria senior national
team don’t have enough firepower in attack
ahead of Sunday’s 2018 World Cup Qualifiers
against Zambia.

In the build up to the game against Zambia, the
local press in Nigeria have been complaining
about the lack of a proper goal scoring striker for
the team, but the coach has played it down.

With Brown Ideye the only recognised out and
out foreign base striker in the team. Rohr appears
to have devised a means of having other players
contribute their own quota, when it comes to goal
scoring.

Speaking to Owngoalnigeria.com after yesterday’s
training session, the German coach said, the issue
of goal scoring has been over blown in the media.

” We don’t need to have one striker who score
goals. We need the entire team to be able to do
so. There’s no panic when it comes to goal
scoring, goal scoring problems? Not when you
have Alex (Iwobi) and Kelechi (Iheanacho)” He
told Owngoalnigeria.com.

There is work and there is charity. Stop obfuscating issues. If like you, the NFF thinks the Super Eagles should be a charity affair, they should tell the world so that everyone can know what's up? You cannot hide behind charity to justify why players should not be paid.

Success does charity. That does not mean he should not be paid for his flight.

The sacrifices of playing without pay should not be what you should encourage players to do. Yesterday, Neymar was seen with blood dripping all over his body while playing for Brazil. That's sacrifice. The willingness to give everything on the field. It shows lack of decency to ask a player like Neymar to forgo being paid his bonuses so the Brazilian FA can siphon it because he is playing for Brazil.

Charity is a form of sacrifice. That is why I pointed at Charity when you made it look as if all work must give financial gain. I did not call the Super Eagles charity or condoned corruption. I wonder where you drew that from.

We have a challenge. Massive corruption in the NFF and FIFA made fighting corruption in the NFF close to impossible. FIFA will suspend young Nigerian players from representing their countries to protect the thieves in the Glass house.

That is not my fault.

The players sacrifice to keep the team going despite the corruption. They will not sit down and allow Nigerian football suffer. Playing in tournaments boost their careers and names.

So the players sacrifice, go through challenges to keep the Super Eagles alive and challenging for trophies.

If the news is true and all players refused to fly to camp, we would talk of ban and not preparation for the tough clash.

I actually don't blame Isaac Success. It's just him showing he can't cope with such ineptitude and disorganisation from the NFF.

But then I ask... Isn't this the same Success that grew up in the system from the cadet level? He should be aware of what is obtainable with the NIGERIAN F**LS FEDERATION... *sorry, couldn't help it*

So I don't blame Him but THEGOODJOE IS RIGHT.... Isaac is showing he isn't ready for the toils and sacrifices that accompanies playing for Nigeria at the senior level.

Right from the days of Usiyen and Haruna Ilerika... The NFF (then NFA) have always had horrendous issues and scandals..... It takes not just a player who wanna don the Green-and-White to represent the Super Eagles but a player who is ready and willing to put up with all the nonsense emanating from the glasshouse.

Iwobi, Iheanacho, Musa Mohammed and others in Success' generation have shown they want it so bad when it comes to representing Nigeria. THEY HAVE SHOWN THEY WANNA BRAVE THE OBSTACLES AND MAKE NAMES FOR THEMSELVES AGAINST ALL THE ODDS IN THE GREEN-AND-WHITE AND PUT SMILES ON NIGERIANS' FACES...... but Success has shown his is "conditional" and yesss... I don't blame him. HE'S JUST SHOWING HIS NATURE..... HE CAN'T COPE.

I wish he sits down and asks himself how bad he really wants to play for the Super Eagles. It is about his glory and destiny. I PRAY HE UNDERSTANDS HIS STORY SHOULD SUPERCEDE THE CHALLENGES OF NFF'S STATE OF CONSTANT ENTROPY.

The Corrupt officials do not want the progress of Nigerian football. That is why people like Siasia sacrificed a lot. From their careers as footballers to their time as coaches.

If we allow the Corrupt ones, they will gladly watch our football rot. Look at where we were under Westerhof until now. Look at how the NFF watched our junior teams get eliminated from the qualifiers. They do not care.

It is up to the players to sacrifice to make something of their careers.

So instead of criticizing Success, why don't you leave the young man alone and concentrate on NFF. It is unfair to keep telling players to make sacrifices as if sacrifices means being cheated of the fruits of their labour.

Man City rival

The Arsenal midfielder joins Manchester
City striker Kelechi Iheanacho for a selfie.

Alex Iwobi was all smiles with Manchester
City striker Kelechi Iheanacho ahead of
Nigeria’s 3-0 win against a local team ahead
of their next World Cup qualifier against
Zambia.

The Arsenal midfielder has been in excellent form for Arsene Wenger’s side in recent weeks and he scooped the man of the match award for his performance in a 3-0 win against Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium last month.

The 20-year-old has made three assists in five
Premier League games so far and the Gunners
reside in third place in the table behind
Iheanacho’s City and north London rivals
Tottenham Hotspur.

The Nigerian striker has scored two goals and has made three assists in five Premier League starts despite being behind Argentina international, Sergio Aguero in the pecking order at The Etihad.

And Iheanacho appeared to be in good form with Iwobi as the Premier League pair posed for a selfie with another Nigerian team-mate ahead of their 3-0 win in a friendly ahead of their trip to Zambia on Sunday night.

Iwobi posted the above photo and wrote on his
Instagram page:

“Matchday Selfie Against The Local Side Today
#SuperEagles”

I am not criticising Success. I said, he is not ready for the challenges. Siasia understands the challenge, faced it and conquered many times. If he tells stories of his battle with NFF for the 2005 WYC, we will marvel.

If Success is not ready, then he can focus on Watford. My heart stays with those who did not object to fly and arrived early for the training. No matter the challenges the Super Eagles face, they want to win.

You don't say a player fighting for his right is not sacrificing. That's not sacrifice, that's acceptance of being cheated. Even Siasia you keep mentioning is not in support of that kind of wickedness.

Sacrifice is Neymar wanting to die on the pitch for Brazil yesterday. Don't mix things up.

EXCLUSIVE: ROHR INTRODUCES SPECIAL
DRILLS TO HELP SUPER EAGLES OVERCOME
POOR NDOLA PITCH CONDITION

The coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria Gernot
Rohr has introduced new methods of training the players of the senior Nigeria national team to help them overcome the poor playing surface of the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.

Levy Mwanawasa Stadium, which was completed in 2012 has a natural grass playing turf. But the condition of the turf due to constant use has damaged a significant part of the playing surface.

In order to be able to overcome the bad surface, Rohr yesterday introduced a special session, which Owngoalnigeria.com won’t mention for technical reasons but the new method could see Moses Simon drop out of the starting eleven for Ahmed Musa.

Also, the team worked a lot on one aspect of their game that has troubled Nigeria in recent times but could be the joker for the tie in Zambia owing to the bad playing surface.

Yesterday’s session which lasted a little above 15 minutes was more of technical and tactical
instructions by the manager, who is using his
vast experience of African football to good effect.

....... Fighting for what is rightly yours... Yes... But to the detriment of achieving Glory?? To the detriment of him beginning his legend in the Green-and-white??

Like I said... It's the Nigerian f**ls federation that should be the focus here. Not Success. He's not to blame at all... Not everyone can cope with this nonsense.

BUT THEN.... WE MUST LEARN TO PICK OUR BATTLES AND WHEN TO ACTUALY FIGHT THEM SO THAT WE DO NOT LOSE OUT ON OUR DESTINIES.... Success' international career is now under threat. He's right to demand his right but he should have been wiser and mastered the law of right timing.

AND YESSS... I WISH NOT FOR THE NFF TO BE LIKE THIS FOREVER.... GOOD CHANGE JUST HAS TO COME AND HOPEFULLY IT WILL COME. BUT FOR NOW, COPE WE MUST..... For the greater glory that lies ahead. The players must learn to look beyond the NFF's state of nonsense and focus on their own destinies in the Green-and-white... It's their names and lives... And careers on the line when they are out on the field of play NOT THE silly NFF.

First, the news is a rumour and I was sad at how quickly I saw people tore into the young man without even asking how true the story is. It was not until I wrote of my reservation of the accusation that those antagonistic to him started using the clause "If it is true" in their comments. It shows some are nursing hatred for the man beforehand.

Second, Success should not be blamed AT ALL. If anyone has anything to say, let it all be directed to the NFF. It is this attitude of asking players to 'sacrifice' that has held us back for so long. How far would we have gone in the Olympics if instead of asking Siasia to sacrifice, we had put fire on the clueless Pinnick? Look at the World Cup, with the little support Keshi got, look what he did. What would have happened if instead of looking for his faults, we had taken swipe at the Federation.

I for one, will actively support it if all players refuse to fly until their monies are paid. I know some people here will blame them and call them unpatriotic while leaving the old-for-nothing men at the NFF alone. That's why we are where we are, not just in our football but in all areas of our national life. We accept a few lording it over the rest, and exalt mediocrity.

I repeat, sacrifice is not telling someone that is being cheated to accept being cheated. By doing that, you ACTIVELY encourage corruption on the part of the cheat.

This will be my last comment on the matter.

For the first point...... If people speak against Success because they got a problem with him... Then that's just too bad... I'm not absolving Success of any blame because I like him. I do so because IN TRUTH, HE'S NOT TO BE BLAMED AT ALL...... And yes, the news is still a rumor.

For the Second and other points raised...... Just what I said in my first post on the matter while quoting the theGoodJoe... HE'S NOT TO BLAME AT ALL... He just can't stand this RUBBISH.

For the fact others stand it doesn't mean it should be accepted. Others stand it because like you say, "they have accepted the situation for now as It is" (IN YOUR EXACT WORDS... "THEY HAVE ACCEPTED TO BE ROBBED AND CHEATED"wink.

But then, I repeat Sir Joseph... There's a time and place for picking our battles and stance against injustice. Wisdom must take precedence. Wisdom must guide us all.

I do not stand for this mediocritic mindset of always being cheated in the name of Sacrifice for Country. A man that works must indeed be paid.

But let Wisdom decide when and where to make our stand when it involves our life path and destinies.

And who told you they cannot get the World Cup and much more by boycotting the matches thereby forcing the administrators to do the right things? In fact, just five key players is what it takes for a revolution to happen in the NFF.

Do you play Chess?
Yea, I do play chess but ain't so good at it.

Photo: Arsenal’s Alex Iwobi all smiles with
Man City rival

#SuperEagles”

bro we are on the same page that the corruption in the NFF is mind boggling and should not be tolerated but on the part of the players they understand that this is nigeria and if you are wait for things to be ideal then nothing will get done. someone like success yes talent got him to where he is today but if other players in the past had behaved the way he is behaving refusing to play for nigeria at the hint of any problem or incompetence on the FAs part would he be able to benefit from his talent? ex-players like okocha, kanu, finidi, late stephen keshi and others too numerous to mention played under worse circumstances but put all that aside to represent nigeria and win us laurels which put nigeria on the footballing map and alerted european clubs that nigeria is a hotbed of talents. plus those who sacrificed got rewards in form of mouth watering contracts plus other cash rewards or properties when they did well in international competitions.

if success can't cope then it's cool good luck to him but we all know about the whole work permit issue and playing regularly for your country as a requirement.

george weah former world footballer of the year almost single handedly sponsored and coached his liberian national team even despite the war torn situation of the country and the presence of charles taylor.
joseph1013:

And this right here is the problem. You lot think nothing can stop the NFF and this is what we will continue to have so players should just take everything the NFF throws at them. What a mentality! I'm not surprised you support him.

What do you think will happen if all the players refuse to come until the FA pays their monies being owed? You think Siasia was dishonest when he said the FA intentionally refused to pay his players their bonuses, and that he is not ready to work with them again?

You want the players to continue the suffering and smiling pattern? Na wa
