Icon4s: If V. Moses is around, he starts. If he isn't, S. Moses. Plays. I am talking of part of the squad. Not starting eleven. My preferred approach is three striking players. Success, Iheanacho, Iwobi in front. That does not mean I do not consider V. Moses part of the team. |

BascoVanVeli: How?? He got his body between omeruo and the ball, no way, it is a favour unless you have your Nigerian hat on. From an impartial perspective, it is not a foul. 1 Like |

TheGoodJoe: yeah true buh d only way nacho can play upfront is if d coach tries 4-4-2(4-2-2-2 or 4-1-3-2) formation where he can recieve assit from ideye or support ighalo would hv suggested 3-5-2(cuz of our vast midfielders) buh dat would b bad defence wise against d algerians |

I think Onazi would have fared better than Ndidi at right back. With the availability of Leon Balogun, I would love to see our defense line like this Omeruo Ekong Balogun Onazi Or Omeruo Ndidi Balogun Onazi We have good DMF that can fare well in Onazi 's place. The Zambians ran riot with our right and left back. We can't afford to get exposed as was vividly evident in The Rio Olympics games where our right and left back exposed our defense again and again. Rohr must get his acts right most especially in our left and right flanks. Omeruo did excellently well except for that mistake. Aside that he was strong and steady like the rock of gilbartar along Ekong who won most of his aerial duels. I was oppurtuned to watch the S. E take on Plateau united. Iwobi is a baller, I can see why he is a starter for Arsenal. All the time he was with the ball, the crowd went into a frenzy. His touch passes are out of this world. I wasn't perturbed when I saw that miss from Ideye because I anticipated it. Aside that, he works really hard on the pitch. He is better as a supporting striker. The presence of Moses and Success would have given us more quality and depth. As for Iheanancho, that goal is a beauty. Person wey Sabi, Sabi. As for Mikel, I wonder why he can't even make Chelsea's bench. Or is there a rife between him and Conte? His quality is not in doubt, it's clear for everyone to see. Carl Ikeme did brilliantly well by keeping us in the game. His positioning and reflexes were handy keeping our qualification hopes alive. Something tells me that we can snatch the sole ticket in the group and qualify ahead of Algeria. 3 Likes |

I know what am about to say would not be a popular opinion as most people would love to see Etebo, Victor Moses and Isaac Success. But for me, someone who I would love to see integrated in this team would be Obinna Nwobodo.I don't care if he plays for Rangers or Real Madrid but his vision, panache, ping balls around tight spaces and sometimes breath taking skills married with Alex Iwobi's distributions, little 1 - 2s and deft touches around the box, turn of pace and vision. In all seriousness, a lot of Nigerians will pass out of excitement when those two combine with Iheanacho. It will just be too sweet to watch, I tell you guys. Rohr will do well to integrate Obinna Nwobodo early next year in a friendly... 4 Likes |

If Rohr comes out and says the NFF forced him into playing Ndidi at rightback i would believe him infact if he says it was at gun point like Timaya i concour, this was a shocking decision and he didn't seem to mind being wrong. Also can anyone tell us what the record is for consecutive goals? |

Chelsea’s Victor Moses and Watford’s Isaac Success face Premier League suspension for reportedly refusing Nigeria call-ups If this is true i would rather not make both come near the squad at all for the Algeria match don't want any weeds in this setup. https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/1936431/chelseas-victor-moses-and-watfords-isaac-success-face-premier-league-suspension-for-reportedly-refusing-nigeria-call-ups/ |

@princesuko U r very correct. No similarity at all. In our match against zambia, ndidi had good positioning, passing range & recovery, so he was spared to last in the match. If a poor player had played that rytback probably there would had being a penalty. He was very clean in marking even though he got dribbled severally. He was always closing the space & neatly chasing the opponent without any reckless foul. Just watched Algeria vs Cameroon. One thing i was impressed with it was the way the cameroonians closely & neatly mark the Algerians. My major concern is Echiejile. Personally speaking without disrespecting him, lowest amongst the leftback we have had since the 90's. He leaves so much space btw him and the person he is marking all the tym. And get dribbled easily at the slight move. His positioning is always suspect when marking & his crosses are totally offish. Have seen the like of bolasie & makandjo turn him to shreds & i pity him marking mahrez with his skill & pace. |

zoboizee: To be honest, i was scared of the attacking prowess of the Algerians but after watching how the Cameroonian's 4-4-1-1 made them look average. I fancy Nigeria taking 4 points off them. Edit: Not worried about Mahrez he seems like a One Trick Pony that has been found out 1 Like |

princesuko: We can make 3points out of the game against that Algerians team in Kaduna, our full backs problem just need to be sorted out. I'm looking forward for I Success to join the team and put Simon out of bay likewise like Moses, we need these duo. The hullabaloo should be settled. |

He had a very good game naa... Abeg make una cut Omeruo some slack joor... Dude was rock-solid minus that mistake and one shaky moment that led to a needless corner kick. Omeruo battled an imposing and powerfully built Mbesuma all-game long... He did well. mikron: 1 Like 1 Share |

Cameroun just made my weekend complete.... Blida is said to be Algeria's fortress and super slaughter house... But the Indomitable lions were not intimidated. I say we can beat these Algerians and establish a five point gap between us and them going into next year. #SuperEagles..... The Odyssey of the New Era continues 1 Like |
