A Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Femi Falana, has said that members of the legal profession should blame themselves for the harassment of judges by the security agencies. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2016/10/blame-yourselves-not-dss-falana-tells-nba/ 26 Likes 4 Shares

This man is incredibly expert, full of wisdom and well on point. Those lawyers deserve all the gauntlets thrown at them. Use any means necessary to purge this nation of corrupt elements. 116 Likes 8 Shares |

Well said by the erudite Senior Advocate. *Modified* id911: The only thing worse than a wailer is a lying one like below, especially when lying to support corruption. https://newtelegraphonline.com/arrested-judges-alleged-corruption-dss/ 32 Likes 1 Share

Femi Falana definately didn't graduate from any law school, he must have studied hypocrisy and confusion from an approved NURTW motor park. Were those Justices terrorists that lawless SSS would go pulled down their doors and residences in the night to arrest them? Were they National Security Threat? Is it the job of SSS to handle corruption cases? The presidency game plan is to frame up Justice Walter Onnoghen so that he won't be made Chief Justice of Nigeria since he has already been recommended by NJC. They want their lackey to be there as CJN. Very divisive, tribalistic and stupid people 81 Likes 9 Shares |

The NBA and the judiciary are gradually losing their relevance and respect.

id911: Mr man, try to read and understand! DSS did not go to maltreat the judges. Search and arrest warrants were presented, as experts in law interpretation, they know what they ought to do, but did otherwise. It means they have skeleton in their cupboards for not allowing DSS to carry out their duty. 119 Likes 6 Shares |

No one becomes a judge in Nigeria without passing through DSS screening. So therefore, DSS has legitimate right to probe any corrupt judge as well 33 Likes 2 Shares |

A lawyer is a lawyer whether criminal case, corruption case, murder case as far as you solicit for their help they will help the best way they can with reasonable pay, that doesn't make them corrupt, it is their job.for instance falana that went for the defense of buhari's certificatelessness, was he tagged corrupt, even when it's obvious buhari doesn't have any certificate. 24 Likes |

id911:Your type don't read through a post to be better informed before you vent your critical antic just because you want miscreants like you to heat you like on Nairaland. if Femi Falana had studied in NURTW and is so reputably successful in his profession you should be ashamed that with your supposedly education from a prestigious institution, you do not worth more than some few likes on Nairaland. 79 Likes 5 Shares |

id911:This is a case of pot calling kettle black. You lot that go against the government of the day due to bigotry, nepotism and tribalism are now the one crying wolf. Let me ask you, haven't the government denied targeting Onnoghen? Has he been arrested? Or why exactly are you crying over a non issue. And it is funny how you have ignored the key points raised by Falana in this press release. And you say Falana didn't go to a law school, he must be a magician to have attained the level he has in this country. A case of if you can't beat them, pull them down with your mouth/fingers I guess. The NBA that is crying like a baby were the same that was defending Ricky Tarfa. The same corrupt lawyer that is now plead bargaining. If anything, the NBA should come out and apologise to us for wanting to make us believe Tarfa was merely been witch hunted when in actual fact he was guilty. 35 Likes 2 Shares |

Femi falana is an embarrassment to common sense. Okay let's assume the judges received bribes, why were their doors and gates hammered down? What were the DSS officers even doing with sledge hammers? Then again,is bribery case not under the purview of the police, are those judges security threats? These are questions this shameless man ought to be asking instead pronouncing the judges guilty even before they have been charged. Sometimes I really wonder how falz copes with this man. Mr Falana is on point. Those NBA goons belong to the same cult of corruption and are bent on seeing the status quo continue. They should jail those judges an their partners in crime if they are truly guilty of corruption. No body is above the law. 7 Likes 1 Share |

popez:Maybe their gates where hammered down as they refuse the DSS entrance into their houses. Some of you are so bloody an hypocrite. Often quick to compare Nigeria with America for the good things but when you perceive something to be bad you won't dare compare Nigeria and America. How again was Osama Bin Laden killed, care to remind us? And also remind us the court that passed him guilty of any of the crimes he allegedly committed before he was gunned down. Go on. 28 Likes 1 Share |

[s] id911:[/s] A wailing ignorant dundee on the loose. popez: You are the embarrassment here. The SSS takes their time to actually screen these clowns before confirmation of their appointments. This simply means there actions and in actions can be a threat to national security. If SSS screens them, why can't they be arrested by the same SSS? 13 Likes 2 Shares |
