Corruption is the word the colonial master use to manipulate Nigeria. They created corruption and brought it to Africa, during the scramble of Africa.

Yeah, let Buhari transform into a dictator grin

He will make sure every Nigerian is purged of the disease of 'Fantastic Corruption'.

It doesn't occur to you that dictatorship/tyranny is corruption itself. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. When military including Buhari himself had absolute power, how much corruption did they fight? Did they not end up enshrining worse corruption than they met on our system?

Our politicians are wicked. they are after their pockets and until we stop this fight on nairaland and start planning on surprising them with hot steady protests to compel them to our wish,we will never get any good from them they are all the same running to where they can get their pockets whether apc or pdp

Democracy is not suitable for Africa. It has made things worse, much worse.

There are many countries doing very great without democracy. Why must we practice what is alien to us? See what the most expensive form of government has done to our dear nation! Corruption, division, hatred, bigotry, deceit, killing and maiming all because of political positions.

Na God go punish the colonial masters. Dem for leave us to our varous traditional monarchical systems. We will have found our ways to greatness naturally.

In 1974 we were not practising democracy. If people say let everyone separate and pursue greatness individually there will be objections

What are you talking about Are you not aware that democracy is even native to some Africans like the Igbos?

The fault is either in the system that did not teach you history or in your regular truancy from class or worse still on your parents inability to sponsor you through basic high school.

Need i say more?

MODIFIED.

My apologies. I retract. I wrote in a haste

Why did you not list the "many countries doing very great without democracy"?
Why not list them
Fear dey catch you sey your LIE would be exposed?
How many Nigerians fleeing our country are heading to these your "many countries doing very great without democracy"?
What %?
Are you like what Buhari called the citizens he swore to defend in 1984- "senseless, useless, undisciplined"
The military dictator continues to TRASH us and call us names despite his RESPONSIBILITY to make our country better.
If you are that way, kindly do NOT assume that every Nigerian is like YOU please.

FYI, the Oyo empire was democratic with the Oyomesis capable of doing worse than impeach the Alaafin by presenting him an empty calabash signifying a vote of NO confidence by the people whom the Oyomesi represent and the Alaafin should commit suicide. There are other intricacies that clearly demonstrate our unique way of selecting and validating those to represent us from Olori Ebis to the Chiefs.
If you don't know, please find out and stop misleading people anyhow.

Yeah, right. Like we would have found it any time soon. These Europeans developed themselves until they came to meet us doing the same thing we had been doing since we and them were societal mates. They have shown us the way and we still prefer the bush.

They introduced the very corruption that's holding Africa back through their numerous divide and rule tactics. They did more damage than good.

Corruption is everywhere even amongst the superpowers - UK, US, Russia, China. The only difference (which is a key difference) is that they have developed SYSTEMS that serve as deterrent. Enough of blaming the white man for everything, jeez.
