Democracy is not suitable for Africa. It has made things worse, much worse.

There are many countries doing very great without democracy. Why must we practice what is alien to us? See what the most expensive form of government has done to our dear nation! Corruption, division, hatred, bigotry, deceit, killing and maiming all because of political positions.

Na God go punish the colonial masters. Dem for leave us to our varous traditional monarchical systems. We will have found our ways to greatness naturally.
The Igbo society is a democratic one, and it was thriving before the crazed ova sabi British imperialist chained it to the demonic, parasitic, blood thirsty, mass bombing murderous Hausa-Fulani northerners. Apologies for the outbursts.

Before we get the anticorruption campaign right, we must first define what corruption is.

GBAM. Thank you

Buhari don't know the definition of corruption otherwise he would realise that he is very corrupt.

Until we can define corruption adequately and the causes of corruption and also building institutions we are simply grandstanding

( or as they call it in boxing, showboating)

What the goverment is doing is propaganda to divert attention from their incompetence in managing the affairs of this country especially the economy which is im freefall.

They introduced the very corruption that's holding Africa back through their numerous divide and rule tactics. They did more damage than good.

Why did they not "introduce the very corruption" to Singapore, India, Malaysia and even the CURRENTLY almighty America?

yes, especially how Ethiopia, the only uncolonized country in Africa is a world power. If we were really such smarty pants like you wished, why haven't we found our way to greatness before the colonialists came then?

Yorubas sold MORE slaves than any tribe in Nigeria.
You can cross check that before you embarrass yourself next time.
That was partly why we had so many wars for slave raiding.

Please don't talk about corruption. We were already pros long before the white men came to our land. We slaughtered our brothers for land, ripped widows of their husband's properties and gave them the water used to wash bodies to drink in the name of tradition, offered our children to stones and wood, slaughtered twins and called them devils. Mirrors are a little more amusing than stones, so we didn't waste time to give our brothers, sisters and children to be slaves so we can see our reflection and marvel at it.

bro this is 21st century and i believe buhari should work with wisdom especially in a country like Nigeria where u dont just wake up and start fighting corruption, but one problem with Buhari is that he is not intellectually flexible, evrything must not be approached in a linear direction ........ GEJ said that u fight coruption by building institutions that will prevent corrupt practices, using technology and innovations and believe me thats the best way to tackle corruption in Nigeria. lemme refer you to what GEJ did in tackling corruption in the agricultural sector by developing the E-wallet system to prevent politicians from hijacking fertilizers meant for farmers http://www.vanguardngr.com/2013/08/how-jonathan-stopped-politicians-from-hijacking-farmers-subsidized-fertilizers-adesina/.
Buhari has been tackling corruption for the past 15 months and i am yet to see any positive effects,

When Jonathan said that many of the educated illiterate zombies derided him.

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in collaboration with all Nigerian Banks has introduced the Bank Verification Number (BVN) as a unique identification number for all Bank customers. CBN have advised Bank customers in Lagos to enroll and obtain their BVN. This exercise has gone live in selected Bank branches in Lagos. This is the first phase of the countrywide roll out. In view of this, all Nigerian Banks have their headquarter servers configured, deployed and tested, and their staff trained in preparation for the enrolment and verification of end users who are all Bank customers.

The Bank Verification Number (BVN) gives each Bank customer a unique identity across the Nigerian Banking industry. This can be used for easy identification and verification of Bank customers. The BVN initiative is part of the overall policy of the financial inclusion policy of the Financial Sector Strategy (FSS) agenda of ensuring Nigeria becomes one of the top 20 largest economies in the world by 2020.

The Enrollment Process:
Commenting on the enrollment process, the Managing Director of NIBSS, who doubles as the Head of the BVN Project Management team, Mr. Ade Shonubi said, “the enrolment process is simple and easy”. A bank customer will be required to walk into any of the selected bank branches; fill and submit the BVN Enrolment Form; present self for data capturing (such as Fingerprint, facial Image, etc.) Thereafter, an acknowledgment slip with the transaction ID will be issued to the individual. Within 24hours the system confirms the enrollment and a unique BVN is generated. The customer will immediately receive an SMS notification with the BVN.

He further explained that in order to ensure an efficient implementation, a phased rollout approach is being adopted beginning in Lagos. Biometric data capture machines have been deployed to about 1000 bank branches in Lagos, to date over 16,000 BVNs have been issued; At full roll out, 10,000 enrolment sets will be deployed across 5,000 Bank branches nation-wide

This enrollment process is done only once and your BVN will be linked to all your Bank accounts across Nigeria Banks.

“The BVN solution is to ensure accountability, protect Bank customers’ account from unauthorized access, reduce exposure to fraud, check identity theft, enhance credit advancement to Bank customers, and also encourage financial inclusion.”

This initiative addresses issues of identity theft and ensures that your bank accounts is protected from unauthorized access,, thus reducing your exposure to fraud. This solution will promote a safe and sound financial system in Nigeria, especially as it will keep records of suspected fraudulent individuals in the banking system.

It will make life and banking operations easy for bank customers as BVN is accepted as a means of identification across all banks in Nigeria. This will improve speed of service and reduce queues in banking halls.

At the point of enrolment individuals shall be required to submit an acceptable means of identification, and update their information at the bank branch physically.

Customers of banks will be required to enroll within a fixed period after which they shall no longer be able to operate their bank accounts.

Evil Contraption called Nigeria.
Nothing has worked since the British criminals left their business venture meant for exploitation.

Nigeria is a big fraud put together by Britain, managed by Royal Niger criminal enterprise headed by cursed Lugard (Rest in Pieces).

For those shouting - "Nigeria will be great again", Nigeria has never been great and will never be, Nigeria is not a nation of same ideologies or outlook towards nation building, it is an amalgamation of different people who are trying to outdo each other with ethnic chauvinism, tribal war and nepotism.

No politician believes in Nigeria, except the money they make from it, and once they milk the country they invest in countries which they believe in.

The earlier One Nigerianists realize,NIGERIA is a very corrupt contraption put together for fun and exploitation of British men.
british did not joined nigeria together as a nation, nigerians leaders then agrees to live together, get it?

The only race that is not developing his environment, his people and his resources . The nonentity who brags with his possessions all made in foreign land by another human being. Nope
The Igbo's were Republican
Not Democratic
There's a HUGE difference. When you think of Republics, think of the Roman consulate, or, think of the House of Representatives in our current system. The difference also including that members of the 'house of reps' (traditional council) were not voted by the public, but selected/nominated based on their influence in society, money, etc. The only Democratic process that went on was voting for or against motions, just like its done in the senate today

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Apart from corruption, black people love being oppressed. I'm starting to think its in our DNA. For example, some black slaves would be given the chance to cut their Master's beard back then. And there was a time that there were way more slaves than Masters in a region that they had to start asking for male slaves to be killed. Please, what stopped the black slaves from slitting their Master's throat with the razor they were using to shave? And staging successful coup d'Etat's until they were finally allowed to go? Black people were introduced with Christianity to keep them in line. The same white people spread that religion to Africa. Think, people think! When your religion is giving you guidelines on how to treat slaves, and then promising you goodies in some afterlife, don't you think that's a perfect too to subdue the slaves? Religion is powerful, it made Egyptians erect the Pyramids. When black people are suffering, instead of revolting, they 'live with it'. Why? Black people need three things in life: Food, Sex, Entertainment . .. Haven't you noticed? We cook the best food! Black people give the BEST entertainment? Hip hop, Rnb, Even the greatest musician of all time is a black man! Michael Jackson! But when it comes to applying our brain to solve problems then we become dumb. Remember the 'Arab Spring'? When countries were revolting against their corrupt governments? I thought it would spread to black Africa. Haha. It STOPPED at Tunisia and Libya. We blacks just couldn't do it. We don't have the courage to TAKE BACK WHAT IS OURS
