Musa Mohammed is like Mikel. He's never match rusty and has a big heart for big games.

Also, he's our best natural option AT THE MOMENT in that right back role.

Musa is a Rohr favorite and deservedly so.

I saw the news... A coach has a natural right back and opts for a DM to fill the position. It shows that he is not fully confident that his right back can handle what he wants. There is a level of trust issues.

Let us not forget. Musa and Ndidi are age-mates so this is not even a case of playing a far more experienced player in the role. (Ndidi at the moment can be seen as a more experienced player)

Also, Mikel is a vastly more experienced player who has played in the highest level of football. He trains everyday with some of the best players in the world. Musa at 20 is still training with academy boys.

If Musa does not move quickly, he will depreciate or stagnate. He is not Mikel... Mikel is a vastly experienced player.

Is Musa our best player for right back? That is debatable. Derrick Osede has declared for Nigeria, Ehizibue, Ebuehi etc still have the option of playing for Nigeria. After our qualifier against Algeria, the coach will shop for right backs. That could spell the end for Musa, if he does not find a place that he can play quickly.
