Madu against mahrez na death sentence.. If Echijiele has a good day, he can match mahrez but his lack of game time at club level does not help matters.
i prefer amuziem to echiejile

Anybody but Echiejile.

Madu is faster by the way. He falls back quickly after going forward
Same madu that was benched for amuzie at the olympic and always dissapointed whenever he was brought on. The only suitable place for him is the bench or out of the squad.

If that is how u feel then why do u want Nwobodo on the eagles? Don't forget Etebo came from our league and at the u23 afcon the announcer was like "Real Madrid, Barca come sign this boy"
Iheanacho and Success opened the door and now we have Osimhen, Nwakali and co. The fact is before now, European clubs never gave us a chance. They saw us as role players and not the main attraction. Now with our boys proving them wrong u have more clubs sending scout to Nigeria looking for the next Iheanacho or Success.

Osimhen, K and C. Nwakali are not NPFL products. They are Nigerian wonderkids sighted at youth tournaments. They still need/needed time to become quality players.

Unlike Kaka and many Brazilians who go from their League to start at top clubs.

When Westerhof brought Oliseh to the Super Eagles, Westerhof made Keshi to train Oliseh. Teach him things about playing on a high level.

That is why I said we have better options. We don't need Shehu Abdullahi because we have better ones.

Brain Idowu can play in 3 different positions. Raheem Lawal can play in three different positions. Tyronne Ebuechi can play in three different positions. Abdul Ajagun can play in three different positions.

As you can see, we have better options.

Brain Idowu's positions on the field.

You no dey tire?!!!

Before the 1996 Olympics, Parma announced that they had signed Rivaldo and his teammate Amaral from Palmeiras.

After the Olympics, there was a dispute, and rather than Italy, Rivaldo moved to Spain as he joined Deportivo La Coruña in La Liga.

He only stayed for one season, but nonetheless it proved to be a successful one for both him and the club.

Rivaldo was the joint-fourth top goalscorer of the season, with 21 goals from 41 matches, as Deportivo finished third in the league.

Rivaldo switched to FC Barcelona in 1997 in a transfer deal securing Deportivo for around $26 million transfer fee, with Sir Bobby Robson convincing Barcelona to sign Rivaldo ahead of Steve McManaman by saying that Rivaldo would guarantee the team many goals.

From Rivaldo's wiki page.

You can see, top quality from the Brazilian league. We are still far from that level.

I am talking about Nigerians, league or not, as long as they leave from Nigeria. In a perfect world Iheanacho should have had a season in Nigeria under his belt before city.

Ok explain Etebo, he proved himself with goals but yet the best he could get was segunda in Portugal. If he was Brazilian he would be at Man city, u can paste all u want but u can't get away from that fact. Brazilian players are benefiting from the doors that have been opened for them but we never got to that door.

Musa Mohammed is like Mikel. He's never match rusty and has a big heart for big games.

Also, he's our best natural option AT THE MOMENT in that right back role.

Rohr's decision to play Ndidi was not a case of "mistrust" but a case of "calculated strategic risk" because of Ndidi's "neat" and calm marking qualities and aerial abilities. (I posted the news on Rohr explaining his Ndidi-for-Musa decision)

Musa is a Rohr favorite and deservedly so.

I saw the news... A coach has a natural right back and opts for a DM to fill the position. It shows that he is not fully confident that his right back can handle what he wants. There is a level of trust issues.

Let us not forget. Musa and Ndidi are age-mates so this is not even a case of playing a far more experienced player in the role. (Ndidi at the moment can be seen as a more experienced player)

Also, Mikel is a vastly more experienced player who has played in the highest level of football. He trains everyday with some of the best players in the world. Musa at 20 is still training with academy boys.

If Musa does not move quickly, he will depreciate or stagnate. He is not Mikel... Mikel is a vastly experienced player.

Is Musa our best player for right back? That is debatable. Derrick Osede has declared for Nigeria, Ehizibue, Ebuehi etc still have the option of playing for Nigeria. After our qualifier against Algeria, the coach will shop for right backs. That could spell the end for Musa, if he does not find a place that he can play quickly.

Algerian coach resigns...

Hopefully good news for Nigeria..

NIGERIA WORLD CUP RIVALS COACH QUITS AFTER PLAYERS' REVOLT

The Serbian Milovan Rajevac has quit as Algeria coach after players led a dressing-room revolt against him soon after a 1-1 draw at home with Cameroon on Sunday.

Algeria government television broke the news of the departure of the 62-year-old coach and an official announcement from the Algeria Football Federation (FAF) is expected on Wednesday after their meeting.

The players are understood to have openly blamed Rajevac for the disappointing 1-1 draw at home with Cameroon on Sunday night.

Reports from Algeria said former Ghana coach Rajevac, who took over Africa’s leading country team in June, met with FAF president Mohamed Raouraou Tuesday and agreed to cancel his contract.

Nabil Neghiz and Yazid Mansouri are expected to be in temporary charge of the team for next month’s trip to Nigeria.

Nigeria welcome the North Africans to Uyo on November 12 in continuation of the qualifying series.

The Super Eagles are top of the qualifying section with three points after a 2-1 win in Zambia.

That's my point. Until the likes of Odubajo, Ehizibue, Ebuehi and even Osede show up in a Super Eagles Jersey, MUSA IS OUR NO.1 NATURAL RIGHT BACK FOR NOW.

Ndidi is definitely more experienced than Musa and is a super regular at club level. Rohr even sees Ndidi as a player that can play in 3 positions.

And you're right, Musa's club situation must improve at least by January.

And on Musa being Mikel, I speak not of Mikel's experience and the likes, I speak of their similarities in always "delivering in the Green-And-White" when called upon".

Musa Mohammed is never match rusty. A super committed Monster who will give his all. I HAVE NEVER SEEN THIS GUY PLAY A BAD GAME IN THE GREEN-AND-WHITE from the U-17 to U-20 to U-23 and even to the Super Eagles.

Who wan dash them draw?? Listen up... I watched that Algeria-Cameroon full highlights video (12mins) and can tell you that we got a better midfield than they do and better defence than they do.

It is their attack that worries me especially Mahrez's role down Echiejile's flank.

We have to establish a five point gap over Algeria RIGHT NOW before the Qualifiers' continuation next year. We shall beat the Algerians as tough as the match is gonna be.

”Nigerians are passionate about their team and
players. The love they show players of the
national team is way beyond description. They

Truth is just like BascoVanVeli said, these South American boys have benefited from open doors from their predecessors. Had Richardo kaka been Nigerian, AC Milan wouldn't have bought him, at best he would have started his career at Norway.

Let's be sincere, if Kelechi was Brazilian, he would be compared to Pele and Maradona, he would dance into Barca first XI....more often than not, these Brazilians aren't as good as many Nigerian stars, but once you're Brazilian, people assume you're a football god or something.

Exactly, down the years there have been shockingly poor Brazilian and Argentine players who found their way in Europe just because of their passport.
At Barcelona, Pep Guardiola bought 2 dross from Brazil for a combined fee of $14m. Talking about Henrique and Kerrison. The Barcelona deal brokers actually paid bribes and took bungs to sign them.
Someone like Obinna Nwobodo has more talent in his left thumb than those two but he will never sign for Barca straight from Rangers.
