Southern unity Towards 2019 Elections by Nobody: 12:07pm On Oct 12, 2016 |
This is to appeal to every southerners that our future is in our hands. A united south is what we need now to stand against northern oppression and divide and rule tactics. We must ensure we work together to restore power to the south by 2019. The north obviously has a grand plan of retaining power for so long and this is obvious in the way Tinubu is been put in check so as to limit his influence in the party decisions and made irrelevant in the scheme of things. We never expected such treatment from the north after all we did to support Buhari in the last election. Oyegun is obviously been used to fight a proxy war with Tinubu by the born to rule caliphate up north who will do anything to render his power bloc handicap so as to ensure their grip on power. We need the support our SS/SE brothers to make this happen. Lets us unite and forget all grievances. A united south can wrestle power away from the north with the support of Christian minorities in the middle belt and the north. GEJ was a bad president contrary to our thoughts in 2011 when we supported him massively with our votes. He failed woefully and corruption thrived to the highest heavens during his tenure. Contrary to the believe of our SS/SE brothers, yoruba's did not vote Jonathan out because of hatred or betrayal. He simply under-performed and did nothing for the SW region and even boasted that Igbo's are the backbone of his presidency forgetting that the SW supported him massively in 2011. Buhari appeared to be the messiah but so far, the hardship in the land is so unbearable and there is no end in sight to the present predicaments facing us as a nation. Buhari has no economic blueprint and his style of governance is archiac and filled with bad policies like banning forex for importation of consumer goods and releasing the same scarce forex for Islamic religious pilgrimage. It's a bad situation we are in and we need to co-operate to undo this mistake in 2019. Every one is facing hardship and bearing the brunt of inflation and recession irrespective of our tribes and regions. This is why we need the support of our SS/SE brothers in 2019 to vote buhari out. Let's form an alliance and forget past mis-deeds. We are better united in the south than been ruled by a primitive caliphate who believed they are born to rule without positive results.... You Yorubas called Igbos slave, they served North and Served u guys. Why looking for them now? This is why I always say, guard your tongue and at all cost be trusted because your bestfriend today may be your worst enemy tomorrow. And when your goodluck shines today you run your mouth carelessly, it may hunt you in the future. The Yorubas have insulted the whole of South/South and South/East even more than the Awusas' So, fight your way out. Besides, The North may succeed in their divide and rule... 39 Likes 2 Shares |

You said you voted GEJ out, out of incompetence and corruption but not hate? Hahahahahaahahahahaha This Afonjas and their monopoly of foolishness sha Jonathan offered you guys speakership position but your criminal Tinubu hindered it but preferred an hausa-fulani tambuwal. He did lagos-ibadan road which your own son (obasanjo) failed to do in 8years He appointed yerubas in government even more than buhari who you guys took as messiah. He allow yerubas to colonize his media arm of government out of trust he had for you ingrates But,out of hate and blind follow-ship of Tinubu and his lies you guys sold your sole to gambaris for a plate of amala which you are not even seeing again. You guys should carry your cross alone cause nobody send your Tinubu and his persecution. Ndi suffercated forming smart. 46 Likes 2 Shares |

No unity with Yorubas! They are the weakest link in the South! It is through them that the Sokoto caliphate of the North will always penetrate the South. Yorubas cannot be trusted and history already tells us that they will always run into the warm embrace of their Northern overlords whenever push comes to shove 36 Likes 1 Share |

OP the SS and the SE will not unite with the Yoruba/SW. The SS/SE have decided to chart their own course without the crafty greedy self centred Yorubas. The only crime Jonathan committed is that he "did not give the yorubas juicy appointments" according to the Yoruba nation in Ibadan before the election. You felt the Igbos were benefitting more from his government. You come to say that "Jonathan was a bad president". That comment alone makes you an idiot that is not worth to be taken seriously. Your repentance will only be taken seriously when you have the boldness to blame your tribal sentiment, Obasanjo, Tinubu etc for misleading you. You voted for Buhari thinking he will carry you along to oppress other parts of the country. Now you have seen with your eyes but it is just the beginning. Read my post just after the election and the comments made by some of your comrades in tribal stupidity https://www.nairaland.com/2229677/2015-election-igbos-minorities. Wish you luck in your journey of disappointments 22 Likes 1 Share |

Op there is no way we igbos will put ourselves in a position where the afonjaas will betray us again. Because when it comes down to choosing sides the afonjaras will tow the route of north. Thanks but no thanks. Ask yourself op and ask other afonjakpatis if they'll vote igbo man for president with an afonjababa VP? 24 Likes 1 Share |

Am yoruba but if ss Nd se doesn't want southern alliance I won't blame them.I remember when I told some fellow yoruba that the north would Bleep US up if they win the 2015 election nd they would try to clamp us down they called me ipob yoot. I pray the ss nd se support a northern candidate come 2019 maybe then we would learn our lesson nd we can't talk bout southern alliance in 2023 20 Likes 1 Share |

The SuperSouth (SE + SS) has no interest in any political alliance with the SW or any other area. We don't care who is the president. Over the next decade, we simply would just focus our energies on very strategic economic development plans. We would start by stimulating cross collaboration between SuperSoutheners in diaspora and those in Nigeria. We would use our massive diaspora population to stimulate skill transfer as well as use them as networks to create access to markets in their adopted domains. We care little or nothing for who would rule Nigeria in 2019 so we have no interest in any political alliance. 26 Likes 3 Shares |

Op, you are just wasting ur time. SW an SE will never vote for the same candidate. Even when the people of the SE voted for Obj in 1999, the SW voted for another person. The same thing repeated itself in 2016. The only time where both regions rallied around a candidate was in 2011 and that candidate failed woefully. So I don't see that happening anytime soon. Stop wasting your time. 6 Likes 1 Share |

mazifrankmore: Did you make any sense really? What was the vote count in 2015? You think you really are fighting any cause? If the Yoruba's now turn against Hausa/Fulani now and all of you, instead of joining to break their yoke off, decides to rather spite the Yoruba's and queue behind Hausa/Fulani, it would inadvertently show that you never had any agenda but to hate. To be perpetually anti-Yoruba. And the Yoruba's would have been far nobler as they have an agenda- which us Resources Control. All of you have hated dearly on PMB and its time that Yoruba's are getting to understand your lamentations. Will it not be wise to team up and bury the ghosts of the Northerners? But, we can choose to be foolish once again. People like you would rather spite the Yoruba's than break from your enemies. Its better to destroy the Hausa/Fulani hegemony once and for all together and come and spite the Yoruba's later, than use this opportunity as a vendetta. But, if it becomes an opportunity to spite the Yoruba's to you all, know this for sure- the story would change and the Yoruba's would not sacrifice any of her youths to the target practice of solo kunu-sipping aboki's. Rather, like a Sphinx, we'd always by patience win our war. 4 Likes 1 Share |

You see, a united south alone cannot take power at the center without some support from the north and vice versa. You are right in saying that if the south is united, we would also need support from the Christians and minorities in the north. The hausa/fulani knows this that is why they are hell bent on exterminating the Christians in the north and moving in hordes of demonic fulani herdsmen to occupy their lands. See how the fulani herdsmen are gradually combing the MB and taking Chirstians out while boko haram focusses on wiping out Christians in the far north. 4 Likes 1 Share |
