Who is willing to invest in the Nigerian league?
The government? or corporate bodies?

Ifeanyi Ubah (Ifeanyi Ubah fc), Kunle Somane (he owns Remo fc and Etebor's club in Portugal) and Kunle Akanbi(he wants to buy Shooting Stars fc Ibadan but you know na).

they are making waves where?! In the norwegian leagues? In the turkish leagues? In the segunda division? In the belgian leagues? Atleast perreira is at Manu, he plays a game every now and then, he isn't any different from Mikel who is also a bench warmer at Chelsea so what's your point? Lucas Moura is also at PSG, his game time isn't bad at all, he has played more games in the last 2 seasons than Iheanacho and Iwobi and Yahaya combined. Do you expect him to score so many goals? He is a winger incase you don't know and he played in thesame team with Ibrahimovic, and you know they have to feed him goals to keep his massive ego intact. His assist ratio is not bad at all.

Our best players in top teams are either bench warmers (Iheanacho and Mikel) or playing in an underachieving team(Iwobi, no disrespect to Arsenal though), so what point are you trying to make there?
He just asked for your top 15 Brazilian U-21 shikena not this long story.

Sir Icons, sir goodjoe please the call by sirforgiveness to extend an invitation to Brian isn't a bad call, our RB needs urgent attention we can't continue with makeshifts. I had envisioned Iorfa taking that role but his father with his politics remains a stumbling block. I pray Mikel convinces Aina and Odubajo pledges his allegiance.

Bros we don hear you about this "Tyronne Ebuechi and Brain Idowu" talk. After the Algeria game next month we would have numerous FIFA windows for friendlies where we can test a couple of RB options. But for this Algeria game we may still have to fall back on a make shift RB.

I know if i suggest one name now people wey go wan chop me go plenty. What if we invite Efe Ambrose for that RB position? For me he remains our best RB since after Chidi Odiah. He has got the experience for a big game like this. (Just thinking o).

Abeg, make we leave out Efe Ambrose from the national team now.

Omeruo can be tried in that position.

It is known around the globe that South American players especially Brazilians have the worst attitudes. Who clubs more than the Brazilians??

I was with Chigozie Obasi sometime ago and I must say he is the typical example of African players with bad attitude but u can't just generalize it. Boy eats kitten like food, takes tramadol like hell. His lifestyle just has nothing to write home about. We have lost that talent to bad attitude. I still remember his long range against Iraq though.

Comparing Perreira who has achieved nothing in football to Mikel who has won everything is ridiculous..

Iheanacho is currently the second striker at Man city 3 years after under 17. Arsenal is a massive club and have consistently played CL football for more than a decade. Maura is 24.. Iheanacho, Yahaya and Iwobi are 20.... 2 years ago, they were 18... not a fair comparison.

Efe Ambrose has not been the same for a long time (since after AFCON 2013), can we let him retire in peace? The guy makes me jittery whether at CB or RB.

We need a natural RB that can improve not fading players.

He would have faired better than Ndidi at that RB.

Omeruo is my first choice for the RB job against Algeria anyways.

Next window we must also set up a friendly we can't keep calling players and not giving them a chance to showcase. That will go a long way in building chemistry and team spirit. Also we must do everything to take 3 points in Uyo, Algeria is not stable and we need to make their situation even worse, we need a mercyless performance come next month.

EXCLUSIVE: ROHR WARNS MUSA MUHAMMED OVER EAGLES SPOT, GIVES CONDITION ON RECALL OF SUCCESS AND
MOSES

The future of former Nigeria Under-17 and 20
captain Musa Muhammed in the Super Eagles in
under threat according to manager Gernot Rohr.
Muhammed lack of game time at Turkish side
Istanbul Basaksehir has not gone down well with
the manager, who has now made it clear that the
19 year old risk being dropped from subsequent
squads unless he sort out his club form.

” Part of the reason, he (Musa) didn’t play in the
last game against Zambia was because of his lack
of game time for his team in Turkey. We have to
be clear on it. Players need to play for their clubs
to earn a spot in our team” He told
Owngoalnigeria.com.

On the possible recall of Victor Moses and Isacc
Success who both missed the game against
Zambia due to injury, the German coach
confirmed they will have to fulfill some conditions
before they are handed a recall to the team.

” We will monitor their recovery from injury, the
number of games they get for their respective
games will play a big part in their recall for the
team against Algeria”.

Those of you bashing south american players, the problem with African players is attitude. Being a good footballer involves more than talent but hardwork and a good head. Christiano Ronaldo was raw when he joined MU from Sporting. He developed into the CR7 we know today thanks to his hardwork and attitude under SAF.

Africans have a mentality that hinders development. We settle for little and don't have that knack to want to be the best. Once an African player can earn enough to buy a Lamborghini, they stop dreaming, stop seeing the need to develop further. Maybe it's because of poverty in the region, I don't know.

The South Americans have a more positive attitude so big clubs will always fancy them more than Africans because what they look at is not just the talent but the potential to become greater than where talent alone can take u
The south Americans have the same problem especially the Brazilian. Once they make it to the top they lose interest or stop caring. Example are Ronaldo (The fat one), Anderson, Robinho, and may be Ronaldinho although most do reach the top but they don't stay for long.

ROHR SPEAKS ON CHANCES OF HOME BASE
PLAYERS MAKING THE SQUAD FOR ALGERIA
GAME

Head coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria Gernot
Rohr, has giving an insight into the chances of
home base players in Nigeria’s squad for the
upcoming World Cup 2018 qualifiers game
against Algeria.

Since taking over the job of the Super Eagles, he
has included home based players in his squad for
games, a sign of the faith he has in their abilities.

Although no player from the Nigeria domestic
scene has played since his coming two months
ago. The likes of Jamiu Alimi, Ikechukwu Ezenwa,
Godwin Obaje and Chisom Egbuchulam have all
made the bench for the team.

In an exclusive interview with
Owngoalnigeria.com in Abuja, the German
handler of the Super Eagles confirmed that he
has plans for players based in Nigeria but could
snub them as the league is on break.

” I have them in my plans but for November, I
don’t think they stand a chance as the league is
presently on break” He told Owngoalnigeria.com.

” We want players who are fit and match ready,
we will try to see how we can help in that regard
but for now their chances is not all bright”.
