Lobatan! I was so expecting this a while ago. Well done! I'm sure if all have eventually contributed to your cause, one day they would be painted in the same light you've been painting your mother!

By the way, let me hint you one secret of this forum...it contains all the tiers of the society strata. There are some people you wouldn't have the liver to open foul mouth on should we all gather in the same room even if your eyes don tear pass kilode!

Good luck with your life dear...may God Himself help you set it right.

Tough love is what she needs. If you give her money now, she will soon be back for more.

I don't even know how these ladies get pregnant sef.

When people don't understand hard time induced situations or pretend not to understand, I wonder the world they live in. Even if one hasn't been through hard times, we can all at least imagine the situation. A no hope situation. A drowning man grabs even a floating nylon hoping it could be the life saver he desperately needs.

This lady before the current pregnancy was going through though times. She couldn't cater for her little one cos her mum wouldn't help, feeding sef was a problem then came a man who took her and her child in, sent her to learn a trade, promised her marriage, it is only normal to warm her would be husband's bed. There is a seemingly new life with better promises so giving the man a child doesn't seem a crime if we all can relate with the ladies past to the point she was with the new man that knocked her off now.

It really isn't so difficult to understand that people make some irrational decisions out of desperation. Being desperate isn't really as negative as Nigerians tend to paint it, it's simply a human instinct that kicks-in in times of need.

This babe changed the title from help me to have mercy on me before I die. You think that is going to sway peopleundecided.

You are older than me but I am glad to tell you that there is at least someone like you in a family. No one is doing to have mercy on you until you can pick yourself up.

You don't understand the situation sir. Read through Onegai's comments and ask about girls like her. As it is now, make her comfortable and watch give birth to another child for her neighbor in about two years.

This just about sums up who you are. While I believe every human is capable of change, you come off as someone that is irredeemable. I'm no God though but man has a way of telling certain things.

Let me be frank with you more than ever, the ONLY person that has been very plain and direct about your issue on here is Onegai. You think she hates you? Please think again. Regardless of how much your tab is worth, you ought to have sold it before now to sustain the child you have. You claim you haven't been eating and have been starving, yet, you stay online with a tablet, which means you either subscribe on the device or you directly use your airtime which is a bit expensive.

Your false sense of entitlement, coupled with the petty pride you have pushed you to this point. You have just proven Mynd44 right. What you have is a very big problem, which could staunt your growth in life. You might not have asked Onegai for money directly but you indirectly asked her the moment you stressed you needed help. Those hovering on the thread and calling out Onegai just to fan their egos would only get you into trouble if you think they're right. We make certain mistakes in life but when we make a mistake twice, it becomes _stupidity and Onegai has been right to point that to your face.

No one is interested in why you made these mistakes. You have made them and everyone is taking the time they don't have to help you and you think you're entitled to them? My dear, you're not. As a young lady and as a mother, you have not been making sacrifices to show you're really serious about forging ahead, that has been the subtle message of Onegai to you ever since.

Thorpido, a million thanks to you for your help here. Even without meeting the mother yet, why she's mad and tired of her is quite glaring at this point.

I pray we all arrive at a conclusion that would impact her positively for life and live what is left correcting what has been done. Regardless, she has to see a psychologist and a counsellor, that is after the frosty relationship with her mother has been defrosted.

I wish you had not sent her credit. Since yesterday, has she bothered to go locate a bank near her and find out requirenments to open an account? Remember her first couple of posts: she wanted to borrow someone's account to use, still leaning on people to do even the basics. She didn't even say "oya, where is the first bank I said is close by, let me go and find out how to open a bank account".

If you guys are not careful, it is Seun and all of you that will train her kids. I know what my mum has gone through, infact one of my friends almost married a girl like this (complete with her 3 kids from previous relationships). She cheated on him and carried belle no.4 and was crying and acting helpless and expecting him to save her as usual. That was what woke him up.

It didn't look like a suggestion to me though, she kept on hammering on selling the fone, how much wld she has sold d fone, how long wld d money last to feed herself and her child, wld selling the fone be enough to register her for antenatal, wld be pay delivery fee?? Look no one is a saint, I am surprised to see fellow ladies being the ones casting the stone, abeg help me ask them how many abortion most of them don do, all the contraceptives and all of that... My mother will say we are all thieves but only who is caught is stoned to death... The lady has made very very very silly mistakes but she is not the first neither will she be the last... Those God has put in their hearts to help shld plz do so... Even if her fone was brand new sef...

I don't even know how people will suggest she sells her phone so as to feed. That's like asking someone to donate his/her head so as to get a kidney. How much is she gonna realise from selling the phone and when the money realised from selling it runs out, what's next? If she sells the phone, she has lost her major route to reach out to the world for support thereby dimming her brightest chance of getting the needed help. Selling her phone is just not an option biko.

The funny thing is, when she's delivered of that baby she would still go fvck with another guy who's gonna impregnate her and she will come all up here crying foul and some dunderheads who probably never go through stress to get their cash will help her undecided

This is not empathy, its PURE foolishness!!!

Her mum sent her to SA for education but miss decided to go for the guys. She got pregnant and came back with a child. He mum didn't ask her to come back, she was willing to end her back. People advised her not to here on the forum

So she came back because a guy asked her to, she didn't think of what to do or how to appease to her mum. People advised to start going to her mama's shop. Guess what they said she said, she said she can't because people will be seeing her. She was asked to stay brain g hair, she said she doesn't understand Nigerian system.

She met a man with 4 ex wives. Se left her mum to him. How much is contraceptives sir that she can't buy from his money? He sent her to a beauty school, she didn't finish. Why? Because her colleagues were wicked. The man left her.

Now she is broke, she can't feed but our friend would rather hold on to a tab because it was a gift(she has a phone o) than sell it to feed herself and her child. Right now, she claims she can do basic beauty stuff, how hard is it to set up a business right in her bedroom.

Like I said unless you have someone like her, don't judge those who are calling her out.

@TV01, in the western world, they will often take kids from these type of women. If they don't, people like her live on child benefits and to keep it coming they give birth to more kids. In Nigeria, ladies like her keep kids coming for one man with N100 after another with N50000. The society will be the one to suffer the consequences of her poor choices. Given her antecedent, she cannot make any life changing decisions. She feels like she is one smart babe. I don't know if you noticed , she has changed the title of her thread from help me to have mercy on me I don't want to die. That is the type of person you think should make decisions. Well, I believe she has already given the society the right to decide for her.

Don't mind those attacking you they have not read her history. How she insulted everyone who advised her to follow her mother to her shop and learn a trade supported by one grace. She cursed and cursed said her level had passed shop girl.

She also insulted those who asked her to use her stylist skills and earn money she said she can't be making cheap cheap hair and that she is not " used to the Nigerian system " meanwhile she spent less than 5 years in South Africa oh.

Those emotionally blackmailing us to fund her entitled lifestyle you people should go and adopt her and her babies na since you can do a better job than her mother has been doing Despite Moji insulting and disrespecting her not to talk about disappointing her for years.

madam or mister undecided it's streesfree reading through pages to get a better view of the issue on ground!! That woman have pride evolving around her, in situations like this you just gotta take shit from anyone just to get the help you want! But no, she's tryna play the most arrogant online claiming that nobody can trample on her dignity just because she's here to sought for help grin

Who hasn't been through hard times before?? We all must have been through the gutter one way or the other but then we hide the pride and employ desperate measures to solve the issue at hand and that's one thing she has failed to do

I really don't understand this whole story Cruz I see so many contradictions.
1.your parents pushed u to get a man bcuz they cudnt cater for your needs?
2. Also when you finally got one u tot was caring he sold all u goodies and properties including you BB phones'. you where working and he was spending your money.
3. you thought he would change so you got pregnant for him
4. your parents were sending you money while u where with him. u also stated in a quote that God bless u with a little job you managed while pregnant. your parents asked u to move out when the same parents forcing u to go back. was it in SA your parents pushed u to go after a man or in Nigeria?
Now,if u know u are so hard working to have worked as u said to gain all the properties u had that d guy sold and even worked for yourself while pregnant, why where u initially depending on your parents? why didn't u fend for yourself instead when they pushed u to find a man bcus they cudnt cater for your needs you quickly got urslf tangled. too many questions to ask u but leme say this...you can only get advice that will ease your pain if you share your story with sincerity. yes, some will abuse u if u say the story as it is but some will still have a better advice for u.

So, let's get some things some things straight:

1. I am quite a good number of years older than you (more than 8 years age difference) and you are a Yoruba girl. There is a chain of command and respect in that relationship. So you will address me as "Auntie" and not "Sis" until I see fit that. cheesy

2. You are very right: I have never used a Tecno tablet in my life. I used to use a Samsung and I accidentally broke an Apple tablet cheesy maybe that's why I want yours so badly, broken screen and all undecided

3. I have only spoken to tell you that when your mum comes home from church, you should apologise to her. And I told you I won't give you money but I will help you. But I have not insulted you, if I had, you would remember. I am a Delta woman with Yoruba relatives, a quick temper and sarcastic tongue. That combination means you will be in tears when I'm done with you. Promise.

4. A lot of people here are using you as entertainment and a cautionary tale to their children. They don't care about you. They cannot sustain you even if they dash you credit or N5,000 and will use you as gist and laughter for their friends. And they already are. But I give a shi.t about you because I don't want your next baby to be for the Vulcaniser down your street. Which is where you're heading if you don't stop and do a 180° change in your life.

5. Apology NOT accepted! You didn't mean it. Rule no.1: don't apologise if you don't mean it. I'd respect you more if you did. I have zero respect for you now, which is why I'm being tough on you. If you wanna earn that respect, you'll pull yourself up and become a great mother.

6. Yes, you're gonna start paying rent and feeding in that house. I've asked Thorpido to tell your mum. No more free lunches. Or please move out and try and do it on your own. You should also start thinking of how to pay schoolfees for your son, he's 3. Pre-K starts at 3. That's what ADULTS do: they solve their problems by relying on their skills.

7. I would advise anyone NOT to give you money, NOT to help you open a bank account, NOT to give you money to start a business. YOU ARE 26 YEARS OF AGE AND A MOTHER OF 1. YOUR MATES ARE DANCING AT THE ALTAR EVERY SATURDAY AT THEIR WEDDING AND GOING TO WORK EVERY MONDAY. You have NOT finished school, you have NOT finished your Beautician course, you have NOT held a job down in your life, you could NOT even do Olosho work properly (go to Benin, girls are using ashawo work to build houses, go to VI and Ikeja, babes dey use kitten open store and are paying their parents' bills. You're here).

You need to succeed at something and start turning your "I have NOT" into "I HAVE ACHIEVED".

If you like, please listen to those petting you. I will not pet you, I am hard on you because that means I really think you can change. If I pet you and am gentle on you, that means I assume you are a lost cause and I'm just being kind to you to fulfill my daily dose of Likes and arse-kissing on NL. I owe you nothing, I have not even helped my cousins. Some of them are you, they learned how to born throway from their mothers and now they are doing the same. I could not help them, but I may think of trying with you.

It's upto you to decide what you want yo do now. Rule no.2: you have to start owning your own decisions and accepting their consequences of them.

We cool? cool

Brutal honesty!

Like bile, this serving of 'truth-quinine' is appallingly bitter but when swallowed it's healing.

Nice one, ma'am.

After reading everything on the thread, all I can say is 'It is well'. My major concern is why she promised to bridge the gap between her mother and her siblings two years ago and nothing has been done till this very moment. It's awfully surprising.

Do you realise it's insensitive for someone with a luxury asset asking people that are possibly worse off for help?
Nigeria is tough and a large percentage of people that usually donate on NL probably don't own a tab

So here is a scenario to get you thinking:

How would you advice a business man that owns a house in Ikoyi but unable to continue funding his businesses because of bankruptcy. Wouldn't you advice the business man to downsize since his current status can't fund his usual lifestyle?

i'm not saying the op is right, in fact if you ask me i'll say she even needs therapy. There are so many ways one can make another do his/her bidding without imposing. doesn't sound nice at all.

she really said this?? grin grin

And more self

Now she wants a shop to do what exactly?

She refused to follow her mother to the shop and learn trading

She has refused to finish any training.

She will open shop and come back to report on how wicked customers are hence she had to close shop.

Moji the only person who hates you in this story is yourself, you are the one standing in your own way.

You refused to grow up and take responsibility everyone should do things for you while you whine and complain

That is a little glimpse of a few of her comments from her past thread.
You guys should free this girl, abeg. Give her money if you have and let her be. You cannot and don't have a right to force help on a person who doesn't want your help. Na money she want, give her (if you want) and allow her peace. When she is ready for more help (good advice and empowerment), she will be the one to come back willingly.

Mummy E @Onegai. You have started again ooo
wink
Let her come to you willingly for the kind of help you are trying to render. I know you mean well but...be careful. Ppl have already said maybe you have an ulterior motive. That one was diffused. You want another accusation from ppl and more from the Op and possibly her family, abi? Calm down, mama. My opinion though. Peace...

Just like i'm saying mine and you yours. No one is being forced to help. If you must, kindly do it in such a way that you do not make the person's self esteem lowest. a broke man is down already, no need to push under.

now i'm not just saying about this particular op. on all counts.
