I have always insisted that this team is good enough to challenge for the title, ergo this team is good enough to beat 15 other teams in this league by default any given Sunday.

I'm not hear to debate theories of what tactical brilliance is. I'm only pointing out what happened. Regardless of hazards position on the pitch, if those defenders had defended well, that goal doesn't happen..it wasn't even a forced error, thus I cannot in good conscience ascribe that to Conte.

Anyway the difference in quality between Chelsea and the top 4 other teams isn't that great, which is where sound tactics comes into play. Twice we've faced those guys, twice we were destroyed. I cannot see anything in our play against the people I expect to beat to suggest that we can avoid a repeat performamce against the teams we are competing with for a top 4 place.

I hope this is clear to you, even if it isn't to some of the less discerning posters on this thread

Well deserved. I thought we played really well. I like the options the set-up creates in midfield. The extra player allows passing options which lets us create chances - 16 attempts (can anyone check this, this will be close to our highest in a long time) - and allowing us to press easily with 7 players, defend from midfield and alleviate pressure on defence.

Moses was good today.. Apart from Chalobahs assist he was just average.

Well If we consider what this players have done in the past exempting last season of course we would agree we have a better first eleven that most others in EPL at least but recent event has brought in doubts whether some players truly are what we think they are example - ivanovic,Cahill so you could forgive Conte for saying that besides our squad has a thin bench.
Looking at Today game we played better than we have played for the past three games or so in terms of passing, chance creation, tackles and ball recovery It was like we were rejuvenated even though there are still cracks but then we played better so thanks to Conte tactics and the players.
