anigbajumo:You're so on point bro.. Hypocrites everywhere.. The same people that criticized Jonathan for not culturing his wife for publicly shaming herself as the first lady are still the same set of people criticizing PMB for publicly stating his wife's boundaries and why she should not meddle into politics. He said his wife belongs to his kitchen and I don't see how that affects anyone's life. If your own wife belongs to the brothel or your dog house, it is no one's business. If you can label PMB a misogynist at this point then I think he should be applauded for harboring a woman into his house for decades without divorce or assault The funniest thing is that, most of the people throwing punches at the president beat their girlfriends over irrelevant things ooooo... Ahmedhussain3463: How do you quantify her contribution? If like you alluded Buhari contested thrice without Aisha's input (which he lost), and the fourth time around Aisha was with him every step of the way and he won, how does this sit with your statement which seemed to diminish her contribution? 1 Like 1 Share |

90% of women have Patience Jonathan and Turai Yar'adua tendencies to wield political influence and ride on their husbands position to control Nigerian citizens but it takes a rugged man to tame that plan. A 1st lady is just the wife of the President and should remain the wife she has always been except of course both were carrier politicians before her husband's emergence as President. Aisha should shelf that plan of influencing Buhari's political decision as her duty as a wife does not include choosing political appointees for Nigeria as a people or APC as a party. Buhari is a real man. 2 Likes |

Haven read so many comment on this i come to this conclusion 1. Buhari is that man who doesn't want to see his wife hurt 2. Aisha is not a politician and such should steer away from it 3. Buhari is not a sexist if he is they won't be women in his cabinet 4. Buhari is that man who like to take full control of his home 5. is not necessary for Aisha to know all buhari cabinet members and appointees it's actually non of her business 6. Buhari is actually the president of Nigeria and won't allow any body to hijack her 7. While Aisha may be running her career her primary purpose is in the kitchen living room and the other room which means she's to take care of her family 8. Aisha should take care her husband and family well being first 9. Aisha should stop acting as if she was the key to buhari success at the poll 10. Family matters are to be discuss in the other room no matter what 3 Likes |

I like Aisha Buhari; I think I like Buhari. First lady office is unconstitutional, godfatherism is unconstitutional. This is new to Nigeria and Nigerians. There's a new sheriff in town. |

Even Afghan Taliban's Mullah Omar could not have come publicly to say what Buhari is saying about his wife. Buhari is exposing himself as a typical Islamist of the ancient order. A man telling a woman to stay out of politics? Did the nan create that woman? I mean, is the man God to that woman? Buhari commits further offensive utterances after saying all the rubbish he said about his wife in Germany? |

This is what happens when wife doesn't understand submission and think they must drag powers and equalities with their husband, former President GEJ couldn't keep his wife in the other rooms, now see how he's dragging his husbands name in the mud. Politics is a dirty game, not to now talk of how it is done in this country, any man that wants peace will keep their family out of politics. Some women are known for accusing without concrete evidence, now I can see what kind of woman she is, its not all bout your outward appearances. I'm not a fan of this president but one thing I know is...he is a disciplined man, and if anyone will succeed as a disciplinarian, he must be a strong personality, and more so, must have the trust of their family behind them...because there will be a moment when everybody will turn against you, those moments are critical, you can't afford to be persecuted from your own home. Dear president: knowing how to manage your wife is part of your responsibility as a huband, if you think she doesn't understand the foundational issues, sit her down and reason with her, explain for a full day if you have to, I understand you know your wife's weaknesses, but she's no more seeing any good in what you are doing simply because she is feeling ignored. Sometimes its not what you say to her, it is the approach that is wrong, she needs you to change your approach, she probably wants to help you achieve something, pls teach her what she needs to know and both of you will be happy. Dear Wife: sometimes we trust in our husbands ability to handle issues and by that, we do not pay attention when they are trying to explain some things to us, we just believe that since its not happening now, we still have time, or after all, he's always going to be here. And that becomes a problem when things start to happen and we cannot understand why, we try t ask , they tell us to just trust them and we are not satisfied with the answer. Sometimes we just need to understand that the best time to explain issues is not when its already happening, and it may not be easy for them to start explaining from the scratch....pls madam, be patient with your husband and trust him, sometimes you have to stay clear of issues in order yo see things clearly, pls and pls, wait for him to enter the other room then sit him down and plead him to explain what you don't knows to you. I hope the singles of marriageable ages are learning from all these political drama.......(e.g Tinubus wife and dino, + other like cases) before you pple will start quoting me and insulting me now, I'm only giving my opinion, only opinion and nothing else We are all responsible for our actions.dazol. 1 Like |

This is part of the change we all clamored for! Why should the wife of a president of 27 years(and so what!)know his political appointees? Very soon wives of CEOs in various organisations, would start demanding that their husband carry them along ,on organisational appointments! #IstandwithBuharionThis |

Sibrah: i think you should shut-up and move on.GEJ didnt lost election because of her wife comment. it is yoruba block vote that made it lost election. instead of you to reflect why a president wife would think not to support her husband you are bring GEJ. You be real Akpamu |

enough is enough for all these wailers just because Buhari has said it was not going to be business as usual where we import everything from fish hook to the most expensive cars you can think of into Nigeria using padded budget money or the most expensive buildings corrupt money can build so these wailing wailers will go to any length to condemn him Buhari 1 Like |

jaymejate: Which truth? The truth as defined by you or Aisha? Are you bound to take all advice given to you by your wife? The reality is that you take some, you ignore some. Why must your wife expose you publicly because you decided not to take a particular advice? Is she all knowing? Are all advice ''take able''? For instance,I for one(and am very sure millions too) do not support the idea that my wife of 27yeaRS(AND SO WHAT?) should know my political appointees? That is total nonsense! |
