There's no way he would have made it to the final minutes if that was a CL game, which begs the question of what exactly is his role.. We can't continue to deploy him in that role against better midfield opposition (if lallana and Wijd had started, we could have been saying something else) nor is he playmaking no 6.

Anyway, he was good today and deserve his man of the match award.

The Armenian is intelligent, his movement is slick, his close control is impressive & unlike Mata, he is willing to shoot from range (not selfishly like Pogba though). He would thrive in a system where the attacking trio behind the CF constantly interchange positions.

If we can get him to be fit, a roving triumvirate of Miki, Mata & Martial (MMM ) behind the striker would destroy opponents, trust me.


As things are, Rashford's immaturity (and Zlatan's Status/reputation) are probably the factors keeping him from starting as top CF.

Kante often win his tackles cleanly though and has better vision than him.. The fact that our team often set out to defend contributed a lot to Herrera's number. Take for example, we had 35% possession today, meaning we're more likely to often try to win the ball.. Same for almost every game we've played..

What if Banana and Giorgino started and nothing changed? Just what "If"?

All I know is that he has been good so far,although I would like to see him in an attacking position too,if he performs well repeatedly there,then we might just have another good player in our squad who can play multiple positions well.

I'm just happy that he has improved,let's see how it pans out.

He had only four fouls which one of them was a dive from Coutinho. I guess you didn't see that under your canopy. He also suffered four fouls.

Zlatan should get time out. His form in front of goal has cost us really valuable points, either that or he plays with a strike partner for now. Much needed pace in attack cannot be overlooked in this league.

Lallana actually changed the game in the second half.. With another one in wijnaldum, it could have been something else. Anyway, their injuries worked well for us..

Like you've stated, he's improved but I want a commanding midfield performance and not some puffing and huffing.
