brotundes:Broda tunde, it seems you and your friends are trying your hands on a mythical "Canadian Visa Lottery". You just want to try your luck and see if it will work. Canada does not have a Visa Lottery scheme. We've explained the requirements for account balance over and over again to you and I know that even if we tell you again you will still go ahead to do what you want. |

bigfido:Someone tipped me that they applied towards May 2016 ending and they got refused a few days back. They are definitely working on your application. Maybe they find it hard to verify some information. Meanwhile my passport is on its way back. |

jayfierce: Who knows, maybe there is and they will be the pioneer beneficiaries. Let's wait and see the outcome - if they eventually make the app. In other news, I submitted my paper application at VFS. First lady I met at the general info table asked me "Would you like premium VIP service?" I said "Pardon?" She repeated "PREMIUM V-I-P service". Told her, "No, I'd rather go join the queue". Na so! After 42,920 visa fee, you still want collect more? Hian! Even the 'bank' counter inside the building just gave me my receipt without saying anything about the 80 naira change. ''Ahn ahn, oga where is my 80 naira change?'' "Errm, do you have 20 naira or 50 naira?'' "So why did you keep mum initially nah?" Epa! Must have thought I would leave my change with him. I entered the hall at 11.36, got called for document submission et al at 13:34- that's 2 good hours of waiting. Meanwhile, on the wall, there's a whiteboard with "Average waiting time: 15 mins" written on it! Never seen truer words. Next, finished with biometrics at 15:12- that's another 1 hour of waiting. So, roughly 3 hours of waiting to submit your application; little wonder people opt for online application. Will see how long it will take the application to be processed. 2 Likes |

Just got my passport back now and I thank God for making me smile . Multiple entry visa from September 2016 to February 2021. Visa expires ONE day before my passport expiry. Awesome! Visa issued by Accra IRCC. So it's confirmed that Accra has been the culprit all along. Looool. I really thank God for seeing me through to the end of this long journey. eddycross: Hello sir. To answer your question regarding the documents upload. If you're applying online you need to convert all documents in each segment to pdf format so they can be merged together. Pdf format will help you merge multiple files together in one folder. For instance in the proof of income segment where you can upload your employment letter you can merge it with your statement of account in a pdf format and indicate the title of each file in the pdf format for easy understanding when it is viewed. That way you will be able to upload as many documents to support your application. Remember packaging is key. You have to name each document properly so it will be easy to understand when viewed. The other question about your wife's application. She has to apply separately too. Fill all the forms separately as well. If you are the sponsor of the trip she has to indicate it clearly in the letter of explanation and the purpose of visit section of the online form. You also have to do the same in your own application...ie clearly indicate that you are sponsoring the trip for you and your wife and attach all documents you have to show you have the means to support both of you. Basically the same documents you are attaching for yourself as well. In the forms you're going to see where you can indicate who is coming along with you on the trip. This is my own understanding though from the experience I had when I applied online in September. Still waiting for my own testimony. I hope this is helpful for you. Good luck sir. 1 Like |

jayfierce: Yea that might be the case. I submitted a huge statement of account including my trip to the US for birthing in March. So there are a lot of dollar transactions in there. I merged almost 4 accounts into one pdf file. The quality of the file wasn't so good because I had to reduce the resolution to fit 4.5mb. My travel history is good thou. Been to the US 5 times, UAE 4 times, Turkey 2ice, Germany, UK and Spain all in the past 2 years. I am guessing they are working on the probability visavis my statement of account. I had barely 200k in the account but I am a confident about travel history and monies moving through the account. The wait continues. Huge congrats on your visa! I tap into your favor |

jayfierce:Jayfierce... Congrat Bro!!! me so happy for you. It worth waiting for non of the embassy issues a long duration visa like dis lol Congratulation once again at least U r happy now. Jayfirece kindly advise me. I just renewed my passport cos the previous one is expiring in Dec 2016. Is it necessary to notify IRCC about my passport renewal? As at the time i submitted my application online, the passport validity was 7 month and Nigeria immigration service only renews for less than 6 months. |
