Humm! It seems you can not differentiate a statement from a question.

It is glaring yours is a statement while my is question to someone who said a coach was right to have demanded for physical players over technical players.

Tell me how that your statement correlates with my question?

In fact, I have already thrashed it and I think you can comprehend. If not go back and read it until you understand even if it will take you half a century. grin

Sorry, I am done with you.

Last I checked.... Musa Yahaya was indeed promoted to train with the first team during the international break in september but he's still with Porto B sub-majorly as he just joined in the recent summer window.

There are news feelers of his possible debut for the first team soon in the cup competitions perhaps but it's not certain.

He's been doing good for the team (Porto B) and even scored in their 2-1 pre-season win over moirenense (I think?) before the season began.

So summarily, he switches between training with Porto's first team and then training with Porto B. His rise at porto was so meteoric that he started training with the first team 3months after he arrived without playing an official game for porto B before the sept. International break.

Specific Info on Yahaya is not so easy to come by but will always try to keep tabs on him as with many others. smiley

My obeisance is duly paid sir.

Sola should count himself lucky. That single act brought Keshi to disrepute among most football loving fans and I hated him (keshi) for that. Keshi ridiculed the SE. Chai I can't forget the insult I received from Mensah and ghanaman that year...calling us dumping ground of England rejects Chai

Anyone can call us what ever they like, that does not mean we should throw away our own when he realised his mistake. Just like the Prodigal child, when he realises he was wrong and he returned home, his father did not push him away. He gave him a great welcome

You can’t produce such highly rated players from a corrupt system. Amokachi is sick to have suggested that.

That says it all.

I want to address the talk of Amunike's team not having talented players.

Different coaches have different philosophies and styles. A player might look talented in a system and look poor in another system.

The tiki taka passing philosophy requires players who work hard off the ball. Whether getting into position to receive passes or working hard as a unit to retrieve the ball. The players do not dribble unnecessarily unless they are in a difficult situation.

The players rely on quick decision making instead of brilliant football tricks. They did well and carried out Amunike's plans well.

I see tagging them not as talented as other sets unfair because they do things the others can not. The players some tag as more talented can not fit perfectly into Amunike's system. I hope these young lads get more exposure and I hope the NFF supports them by rewarding them for their exploits.

We need to keep producing top quality players. With their rewards, they can make moves to secure trials. There are coaches who need these players and they give the team different options.

First of all, is Isaac Success more skillful than Victor Moses?

It is too early to ask why Solanke is not playing because we still have a lot of games to play. Besides, he is was just recalled back from loan.

How can a Poacher rake in some few numbers of assist in a competition?

Please, watch the YouTube and tell me how many assist he could have had to his credit if the misfiring players fully utilize the opportunity?

Who told you he not a player?

Watch the video very well and you will see he played from the wings and he can give a killer pass.

Below is the record of his assist.

that's all you look at, stats stats and stats, ok take an example, Messi sprays a pass to Suarez and puts him clean through on goal with only the keeper to beat, Suarez sees Neymar coming and keeps his cool then gives him a square pass and he scores. the assist is for Suarez but does that mean that Suraez was creative in that move? please understand the difference between assists and chances created, this was what Solanke was doing, claiming assists from other people's through passes, that is called AWARENESS, and that's the trademark of every good poacher is it not?

Isaac Success and Victor Moses? Victor Moses is pact not really tricky, He is not the Lind of player that will use some leg overs to get past you, but Success can do that, now are you asking me who is more skilful or who dribbles better?

I agree with you. Conte openly lied that Mikel was injured. Definitely, that man has the guts to drop V. Moses if he puts Nigeria ahead of Chelsea.

I think the coach should leave Moses out for now and look into others. Mazzari is also an Italian. Success needs to break into the starting line-up. So we should leave him out of the squad.

exactly, so we should just take Moses whenever we see him and Success too, which means we should have a plan B in place

Bro once upon a time the Nigerian team was full of talented players and they played as a team.

At the youth level I expect coachea to focus more on scouting talented players and not just 'system players'. Because in the long run our footie benefits.

Apart from playing as a team, the individual brilliance of Iheanacho and Iwobi earned us 3 points in Zambia. And that should be our dream at the youth level. 'Talented kids' Its not just about winning the trophy.

Manu's 2013 team can boast of many future stars. How many can Amunike's team boast of?

Same goes for system players. Guardiola spent his time trimming his squad because he wants players that suit his philosophy. Players that will make the team work as a single unit.

We have coaches across the globe who work with quick thinking players. We have a brilliant export in Mikel who relies more on quick thinking and intelligent movement over sublime skills. He is one of the most achieving African players.

That is why we need to support these brilliant youngsters. They will become assets to teams that need their kind.

Exactly. Players who make simple but very effective choices. It takes insightful analysis to understand the impacts these players bring. Amunike called them, the best among their age group.

I hope the NFF take these players equally as important as others. They have unique qualities that can help boost our team in the long run.

I enjoin all aggrieved Parties to sheath their swords...... it's time to start discussing Algeria Match in proper!

See truth be told. Why can't forgiveness admit his mistake and also withdraw his statement on Iwobi. Why call him a troll just to make Solange look better.

Why can't forgiveness emulate other elders here on how to manage arguments? We don't always argue to win, but to learn and leave a good mark.

Now the question is, what kind of Mark do we intend to leave on this thread and also to our conscience?

I disagree sir.

Passing, marking and other basics actually belong to average players.

Consistently beating your markers, dribbling, laying killer passes, shooting accuracy etc belongs to the talented pool. You cannot do these things except you have it in built in you. Talent makes a player exceptional. It makes hin consistently do beyond the basics.

It is difficult to keep it simple on the pitch. With simple passes, a team can create multiple clear-cut chances for the top strikers.

Osimhen scored loads because of the chances created from clever build-up plays.

At the end of the building plays comes the sublime through pass or wingers making brilliant runs.

It is the philosophy.

GBOLAHAN SALAMI BREAKS 15-YEAR OLD
KUPS RECORD

The Nigeria international has made his mark for
the Yellow-Blacks by breaking a 15-year old club's record in his first season.

Nigeria international Gbolahan Salami has
distinguished himself with his goalscoring
prowess by setting a new club goalscoring record with his Finnish club KuPS in his first season.

Salami who completed a one-year move to the
Finnish outfit in February has scored 13 league
goals this season to break a record held by Ilja
Venalainen (2012) and Peter Sampoalso (2001)
with 12 goals each.

The 25-year old increased his goal tally to 13 and set a new milestone with his opener in KuPS 2-0 win over HIFK earlier in the week

With just a game left in the Veikkausliiga, Salami still has some goals in the bag for Marko
Rajamäki's men who welcome PS Kemi at the
Kuopio Football Stadium on Sunday.

The former Warri Wolves and Shooting Stars
forward shared a picture of his topscorer's award on his Instagram page.

"Record award. Thank you God," Salami
captioned his picture.

Happy with this news!
THIS IS THE TYPE OF SUPER EAGLES WE ALL HAVE BEEN LONGING FOR.

*Rohr drops 'vacation players' from Algeria clash*

Gernot Rohr has gone tough - he will no longer call up players he describes as "vacation players" because they have failed to fight for first-team places after two invitations.

"Some players have been invited for two matches but have yet to push for a place in the first team and now we wish to invite fresh players to do what they could not do," Rohr said.

"The time is gone when a player comes for two matches, collects bonuses, allowances and ticket refund and does not measure up.

"What we need now are players who can fight for first-team shirts and so make the team more competitive."

The likes of Israel-based midfielder Nosa Igiebor, Kingsley Madu from Zulte-Waregem of Belgium, Rangers goalkeeper Emmanuel Daniel and Jamiu Alimi from Kano Pillars could fall into this bracket of "vacation players"

Behold the words of the one who led the player rebellion against Rajevac..... smiley
........................................................................

IT WILL BE TOUGHER IF WE LOST IN NIGERIA -ALGERIA STAR FEGHOULI

Sofiane Feghouli of Algeria

Sofiane Feghouli has admitted it will be even
more difficult for Algeria in the World Cup qualifiers if they failed in Nigeria next month,
while also being openly critical of ex-coach Milovan Rajevac.

Group leaders Nigeria welcome Algeria on
November 12 in Uyo after the North Africans were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Cameroon and have parted ways to Serbian coach Milovan
Rajevac.

“It will be a difficult trip to Nigeria in November,”conceded West Ham United star Feghouli in an interview.

“We will have to bounce back immediately
because if we lost, it will become very
complicated to qualify (for the World Cup). We
know that.

“Unfortunately, it started badly with the home
draw with Cameroon.

“In the group stage, the first match is always very important. But we still a chance as there are still five matches to go.”

Feghouli has been fingered out as leading a
player rebellion against coach Rajevac, but while
being critical on the choice of the Serb, the
forward insisted he has never been selfish while
playing for Algeria.

“FAF were wrong in the choice of Rajevac,” he
opened up.

“He did not know the names of the players or
their positions. There was very little information
on Cameroon. We did not prepare as we should.
“But I was not annoyed that I did not start
against Cameroon because I do not have any ego problems when I play for the national team. I play for the flag.”

Amuneke's team was talented but there was an obvious hierarchy that had two players at the top. It seemed Nwakali and Osimhen were far better than the others. After those two, you now have Chukwueze.

Manu team had a bunch of players that were outstanding, Successs, Yahaya, Kelechi, Nwakali, Musa Muhammad etc... So the top level seemed broader.

Either way, they were both talented and many of the youngsters from Amuneke's team are already abroad, hopefully, we will be hearing of their progress in the next few years.

It's obvious they just never liked Rajevac and his "selection policies".

Feghouli started from the bench against Cameroun. Same with Brahimi. This obviously annoyed Feghouli and "the cabal".

If they had won that game, Rajevac would have remained in charge.

The Algerian players and FA were really impatient.

Well, like you've said, I expect us to take advantage of their entropy state. smiley

I agree...

I think with under 17, One has to be careful about over teaching. Sometimes, it is good to let them express themselves and keep it simple.

These are serious, important talents. Not just show boaters but players who understand the ideals of team-work and coherency.

Which of the 2 teams are more successful? Manu's team and Amunike's team?

In one year Manu's boys (about 3) were signe by Mancity, some by porto. Some got called up to the super eagles team under Keshi (Alampasu, Awoniyi, Iheanacho)

It was glaring

One year after what are the prospects of Amunike's 'philosophical' team?
