I don't see reasons why this recalcitrant men that called themselves governors shouldn't be able to pay worker's salaries.they are just wicked set of people.... |

See, see them full this thread. They are all finding out how much doles have been doled out to their dole collector state governors from the dole payer, Abuja central government. No country run like this dole system ever survived. Citizens remain indolent, lack imagination, no competition - as citizens crowd places like this to see how much doles come to their states. |

kutchs: That's the kinda governance killing this country. You can imagine a state that's not bigger than another city with that mammoth allocation and still won't pay their workers and then will be blaming PMB for everything. |

Tenure of new Nigerian with different atmosphere of change entirely...we now have a government of accountability! Buhari is working and Nigeria is gradually moving to the permanent site. It is just a matter of time we will surely get there. |

MrMcJay:I think when he was busy asking question whether Osun State is cursed or not, he should have been busy asking question whether he himself is cursed. Yes, Osun State allocation is in millions of naira yet, the state has found a balance in paying salaries of workers and executing projects compare to Bayelsa state with 7.6 billion naira with no tangible projects and inability to pay workers salaries. 1 Like |

Rivers earned more than Lagos? Rivers n Bayelsa ought to be leading states in terms of development but reverse is the case. Proud of Gov.Obiano. He's prudent so no cause for alarm. 2 Likes |

Enuguboy4nsk: Osun's allocation is that because the F.G is now mking deductions of the relief package or bailout fund initially given to the state to sort its salaries problem with workerss few months ago. So, F.G will keep deducting from their allocations till its paid up. Not that your state is cursed, okay. Na the remote recession wey HIT dem before the General Recession 2 Likes |

The Federal gov should cease allocations immediately. Let those that can't contribute to the Federation go-and-die. Royalties from oil should go to oil producing states. If you want oil money, go and pump oil in your own backyard. Other states would be forced to go into agriculture, manufacturing, processing, technology, finance, real estate, tourism and hospitality, construction, consulting and all the million and one things we should be doing but refuse to because of oil. |

kutchs: Bayelsa state isn't the smallest state in the federation, by land mass, the LGA is poorly represented its like Akwa Ibom having 30 smth LGA and a state like rivers has only 24. does that mean Akwa Ibom is bigger than Rivers state both in Land mass and population? Lagos is the smallest state in the Federation by land area. definitely not. our population figures are very incorrect and highly bloated! 1 Like |

whizkidd: Bros sit down, stop fuming over your oil wealth... What u should be fighting for first is accountability from ur leaders. Yes I support full federalism but we must ensure more money means more devt not more embezzlement. Look @ bayelsa... with a prime location, small population yet I don't see them signing multimillion dollar infrastructure projects with Chinese, american n German firms why? Surprising still is the governors have failed to woo investor's ND peeps should learn to take responsibility! 1 Like |
