Just got an info that the "cabals"(senate committee chairman on police affair, IGP, and Chief of staff to the president ) has been frustrating the PSC Chairman attempt on seeing the president one on one on the issue. The President "true" stand has not been known yet. From afar, he seem to favour the state by state formula, but closely you get mix signals. The camp essentials such mattress and the rest have started arriving... The cabals end game is for PSC chairman to accept the LGA by LGA formula...

Summary of my epistle;

No end in sight on the issue yet.
Don't know what may happen tomorrow or day after tomorrow but as for today, that's the present situation .

I think PSC brought this situation upon themselves, if you check the advertisement for this recruitment exercise, it was clearly stated that 10 police constables will be recruited from each LGA.
I guess they were later adviced by federal character commission that it was unconstitutional to do so.

State by state will be used at the end of the day, otherwise, any sabi-sabi lawyer can go and obtain a court injuction restraining PSC from proceeding with the whole exercise.

I call Senator Ibrahim line tire last weekend, the man no gree pick. At some point sef the line dey busy. So I send am message whether him go reply, till today no reply.

Like I rightly said yesterday, the president has given instruction to the PSC Chairman to adhere to the demand of the "cabals". Next week may be our week of expection.

But are you aware of what was reported last week or so before the President travelled out to Germany? Your post is suggesting that there was never a meeting nor an outstanding issue to be settled in regards to the cateria to be adopted. Just an observation. Thanks
