Why Are Bodybuilders And Muscle-bound Guys Attached To Negativity In Nigeria by PRISTINEMUSCLES: 8:28pm On Oct 26, 2016 |
This question has been bugging me for quite a while. I have been to other countries and muscular guys are loved and cheered by seemingly normal peeps. But here in nigeria, it is a different ball game. Anywhere you go, all eyes are on you for "negativity". I was at the mall to purchase some neccessities when i overheard a young chap saying to his mother "look at this man with power, he looks too strong". As soon as his mother turned to look at me, she became quite uneasy. I even returned her embarassing gaze with a sexy smile, for where, she just turned away her face and more or less ran away with her son. Even, you hear mothers especially, whose sons have just began the body-building journey tell their sons whether they have become armed-robbers or cultists. Muscle-bound guys as well as body-builders are one of the friendliest set of people you can find here in nigeria. We are normal people but just a little bigger in size. We have an interesting life of our own, asides from the "iron warrior zone". We have our jobs, we club, we ball, we love "curvy" women(me in particular), we are rich, we cry, we laugh but don't step on our toes or push us to wall. No matter what, we are not going to slow down, it is our lifestyle. We are Men Of Iron. 15 Likes 1 Share |

Why would anyone attach negativity to you when you're not even that big (seen ya pictures on the bodybuilding thread you created, with all kinds of steroids users)? The term "bodybuilding" has been abused lol. Then again, you might be right cos naija folks are judgemental and a lot of folks in naij are either very skinny or skinny-fat with protruding bellies. So, someone like you might be termed "big"/"bodybuilder". ANd if that's the case - their backwardness is coming to the fore, like it does with everything else. Mr. "bodybuilder", what weight can you bench press in kg? I doubt you can push more than 100kg/220lbs, yet you think you're a bodybuilder - hysterical. |

PRISTINEMUSCLES: Lol. They're not out of context since you claimed you're a bodybuilder when you're clearly not. To qualify as a legit bodybuilder, ya body fat needs to be below 20% (around 15%) for someone who's natural, and between 5-10% for those who use steroids, like the steroids bandits you posted on ya bodybuilder thread. And you also must be able to bench at least 140/150kg. I know the word is somewhat cliche these days with how it's used loosely. However, those in the business know what time it's. Regardless, anyone who looks at you and think you're some type of bodybuilder, folks are scared of, needs to be laughed at cos you're a regular guy that just lift weights. BTW, I see you're a big fan of Simeon Panda. He's from London...a cool guy but he's a steroids bandit as well, albeit he likes to tell porkies about being natural. 4 Likes 1 Share |

SirShymexx: Where did i ever mention that i am a bodybuilder. I can tell you for free that i have a bodyfat percentage below 10 percent and i don't do steroids. I do not go about telling people how many ibs of iron i can bench, that is not my thing. I am way too advanced for that. I am a gym enthusiast with "pristine muscles" who has a mutual relationship with the "iron". I just love the discipline, consistence, patience, the progression as well as workout sessions that encompasses body-building. Guys like you are usually out of shape and only wish for slabs of muscles to pile up on their bodies without even lifting a "pin". Simeon panda on so many interviews has always denied the use of steroids and i believe him. His physique and muscle mass can most definitely be achieved without steroids. Ever heard about ulysses, sergi constance, terry, i can go on and on. Those guys are natural as hell. If i can get the muscles i have now with my age way above 30, with a weight of over 100kg, good diet and my "local" gym, how much more those guys. I fit still dash you small muscles sha make u hold ur body. 16 Likes 1 Share |

Amelian: Why should i worry about it? It can never happen. It is just that i am most times amazed at the reception of nigerians to body-builders and muscleheads like us. I see disdain in their eyes. But most of my fans are ladies. But sometimes they are thrown aback by my physique. 2 Likes |

PRISTINEMUSCLES: Lmao @ having below 10% fat. I doubt you know what the hell you're talking about. Anyone with below 10% body fat that's natural would've daily joint problems with a super-stiff body. It's almost next to impossible. Ya body fat should be close to 25-30%. Someone like Anthony Joshua for example, has 15% body fat, hence I don't doubt him that much when he says he's natural. Simeon can lie to you internet nerds/stans but those who know, know he's on juice. He has about 7% body fat and almost the same type of aesthetics and body measurements as the great Serge Nubret who was super-gifted with one of the greatest genetics ever. Yet Serge Nubret was on steroids. Ulysses is another compulsive liar on steroid juice. I bet you think Kali Muscles isn't on steroids as well cos he claims he's natural all the time - hysterical. Anyway, stop gassing yourself - you just push weights. You're not a body builder. Don't chat to me about muscles when you still lift baby weights...and I'm not even a bodybuilder. 3 Likes |

SirShymexx:Do you even know the parameters for calculating body fat percentage? No. Anthony joshua you made mentioned of has a body fat of above 15 percent. Everyone knows kali is anabolics and he attests to that. The beefing is allowed, i am used to it. Just lift and adhere to good nutrition and rest and watch your physique grow. If you need some tips for piling slabs of muscles, you know where to find it. Pristine muscles. No more from me on this. I do not want this thread to be derailed. 14 Likes 1 Share |

Re: Why Are Bodybuilders And Muscle-bound Guys Attached To Negativity In Nigeria by SirShymexx: 4:01pm On Oct 27, 2016 |
PRISTINEMUSCLES: Lol. How can you say an Anthony Joshua who has more lean muscles and is more ripped than you're has more than 15% body fat, then think you've less than 10% body fat? You just showed you know nothing about aesthetics. Nah, Kali muscles alludes to being natural all the time, just like the rest of these clowns selling protein/amino-acid. Ulysses and Simeon are the two biggest liars, especially when you look at how their body is and the fact that they both have almost the same body measurements as the greatly gifted Serge Nubret who was a steroid fiend. Their biceps/triceps alone should tell you that they're on roids. Ditto their body fat (5-7%) all year long lol. Anyway, there's nothing to be jealous of, Mr. Baby Weights. Just correcting you, while trying to educate ya mind. No pain, no gain - the more the pain, the more the gain. Keep lifting. 1 Like |
