ThumbzTNA: I love your view but it still needs some refinement. Igbos has a better chance of clinching the presidency in 2019. I will like all the Igbos to start thinking towards that angle. Venture on this campaign and give it a second thought. Ol Op I have been observing the thread, but this hate filled idiots won't stop causing nuisance here! Kudos though but reconsider your submissions. The kingdom of God suffer violence and only men of violence takes it by force. We need to be radical in this campaign and make others see reasons with us. |

ImoRiver: Abagoro. First time you say something right and it fits my thought. But why should Igbo forget politics and focus on economy. We've gotten the economy and there is no room for procrastination. What do you think? |

Nigerians are not ready to let us have the presidency, at least for now. This is an orchestrated script that is determined to be played to the full. We need to consolidate on our home front; develop it, convert it into a thriving economic hub, then we can give it a shot. 2019, Nigerians will still repeat the same mistake, voting on tribal/ethnic line. And it definitely going to be a frenzy. Something we should not partake..... Don't move with the crowd. Dare to stand out. So what do we do then?....... prepare ourselves ahead of time to vote wisely Elect officers base on merit. Create an alliance that will protect our interest without compromising our stand Work internally to consolidate a hold on an organized knowledge/tech driven economy etc. |

When you fail to plan, you plan to fail. A popular saying. The South East do have a great economy, but as we speak, its very unorganized. That has to be addressed. A coordinated economy will attract investors, both from home and abroad. |

My heart has totally and irrevocably left Nigeria. I have no interest whatsoever in it's useless politics particular as played at the federal level. My wish for Nigeria is that she burns to the high heavens. Good day. |

I still cannot fathom why some SE Igbos still want to partake in this userless Nigeria. Seriously wtf did they feed una over there? Rather than wasting your time in Nigeria, you goal is to be figuring out how to get out of that sinking ship. God...do you need more beating and insult in your body before you get other through your f2king head that as long as you stay in Nigeria, you'll NEVER progress |

nonaira: Politics is the language of Nigeria irrespective of tribe. Politics rules in all disciplines found in Nigeria space. Sometimes I wish to have a degree in political science but it isn't a must. When you follow the trend, you gonna fit in. Is quite bad that we Igbos are left with little option to make which to learn Nigeria politics is the most feasible. Only cowards run away from their challenges. Courageous ones stand and face it head-on until victory is assured. Politics is the key, just imagine when you are with the key, that door your inner desires wants to open, shall be opened unto you with the key. See reasons with me bro let's view the bigger picture instead of restricting our views on smaller pixels. |

LordAdam: You think they don't know this? everyone among them " na sharp guy " what you are advocating will require a lot sacrifice and " mumuism " which non of them is prepared for. No be this country we dey watch as they pull each other down because of selfish interests and personal ego?, ordinary senate president position na so dem dey drag am among themselves. The Yoruba's who made sacrifices for their brothers to get recognition are called mumu, lets see how Igbos will organize themselves without the greater majority among them playing mumu. 2 Likes 1 Share |

nonaira: This is the time you stand and fight for what you believe in. I don't think many people believe in this entity Nigeria but what you have to understand is that, your people come first. When you look the other way and the other person looks the other way, who will look forward and move the people? We have been at the sidelines for 49years, doing things haphazardly. The time to focus our torch to the future is now, your kids must ask you where you are from and it will be a shame that in the 30years, people will still say "I am going to my Village". What sort of statement is that? If you sit down and do nothing, your cousins, brother, sisters or relations will suffer from this bad decision u are making. It is time to put your strength where it is needed. I am only being too cautious with what I want to tell you because deep inside of me, I wanted to say more. 2 Likes |

dEastActivist: I bet you, we have no chance at the presidency in 2019. Do not jump the gun. Let's keep off from national politics and face the real issue. There are better ways of getting what you want without fighting for the top position in the country. You all should understand that these northerners are still under the euphoria of being on top and there are not looking like people who will jeopardize this opportunity, so don't think the news you hear about his incompetence will bring him down in 2019, it will not work. Let's fine tune our regional politics. Test run our capacity by voting our own person with our own interest in the senate and the house, then try it with the governor and local govt. when you see that your motives are yielding fruits, then u can gun for the top. Politics isn't simple like you see it, it takes so much to defeat these guys. 1 Like |

Develpeast: What do you mean by " Let's fine tune our regional politics'' BC seriously people vote according to whom they dim fit. Buhari didn't impose them on us, we voted for them and got them elected. So please I will like to understand your point. |
Re: Rethinking South East Political Stand 2019 by Develpeast: 7:46pm On Oct 29, 2016 |
dEastActivist: People vote who they are told is good for them. I can clean a dirty man and give you a thousand and one reason why this man can be a pastor. A logical man like you will want to think towards my logical reasoning because I will make it logical for you. That was how they fine tuned the man in power today. Man in the real sense isn't free, once in awhile he is told what to do and some times he wants to be told what to do. This is what campaigners do, they tell you what to do. Now to our own scenario, we can push ppl from different senatorial district who believes in our dream and wash him well for people to believe he is the Messiah. People will forget his sins immediately. Humans have forgiving spirit, do they will follow the person. Its matter of us winning the minds of the people, the other things can be fixed. |

Develpeast: See bro, this thing is not new to us. As for buhari's case, it is very glaring to the eyes that buhari is a failure, many saw through his folly, infact, about 12 million voters saw through his folly and didn't vote for him. Igbos are highly educated and most have reputable achievements accorded to their persons. Left for me I would say there is no guarantee of any sort that after all the repackaging, rebranding and brandishing of your proposed candidate that the people will vote for him and get him elected (how much you get). Like I said before, people vote who they dim fit (those who can convince them enough to make an impact ). Bro if you have any other point concerning this please endeavor to share as this one you've said here is not alien to us. We are practicing it already maybe in a wrong way but is not new. And If it is in a wrong way, which one is right? |
