7lives: Now this is the type of grand posturing by Afonjas that irritate me. Where were the Yoruba leaders and Obas who were supposed to make sacrifices for Abiola, but instead collected money from IBB and betrayed him? Where was Jakande and his greedy Yoruba leaders that connived and exposed Awolowo secrets to IBB? Where was the sacrifice? Is Tinubu not being currently cut to size by Yoruba betrayals, where then is the sacrifice from Yorubas? When Yorubas were given the speaker slot, how many speakers did they produce? Were they not all fighting themselves over the slot? Where was the sacrifice when Tinubu and his band of Yoruba scavengers in AC connived and ganged up against a Yoruba sister, Mulikat, by denying her the speaker position PDP allocated to her, and instead, they( Tinubu and his gang of Yoruba Hyenas) decided to lick the Northern ass of Tambuwal, only to turn around in future to accuse PDP and GEJ of marginalizing the region? Where was the Yoruba Sisterhood sacrifice for Mulikat? Why is it that Yorubas are yet to remove the log of wood in their eyes, but it's always the pebble in the Igbo eyes that give them headaches . What' wrong with you people? 6 Likes 1 Share |

Xflint:Thank you my brother.... we have every reason to leave this country.... the mockery, persecution, marginalization is unbearable.... however, wisdom demands that we take it one step at a time. |

I know we are far better than the place we find ourselves. I believe if you and I can work things out we will achieve greatness. A nagging wife in the midst of wives, is the neglected one. Times are changing and if you don't study the present time you are living in, you will be lost in the future. We have to put things in order because the future is close to us. The work is on our head. Other people have kings and chiefs who take responsibilities but we do not have anyone to carry our load for us. It might look bad but to be sincere, it is simple. A leader carry a heavy load which might be too much for him to bear but a load spread across the whole village will be light for everyone. We need to start channelling our resources and time towards achieving positive things our people will gain. No amount spent on development is a waste because it will surely bounce back into our accounts, multiple folds. 1 Like |

blues20: Oga, begin pack yah bag oh! Na which motor park you wan make dem drop you? It is your folks that engage in mockery of other tribes the most! You insult them & deride them, only to turn round and scream marginalisation when they give you a taste of your own medicine. There are a lot of us that want you to get your Biafra, so that you can stop whining! Your governors have been unable to turn your South-east region into an Eldorado all this while. Do you think that when Biafra arrives, they will now make it a paradise on earth? Keep fooling unaselves. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Develpeast:I concur with your submission. I saw the wisdom in it.... even-though, its a herculean task, but it can be done. I'm currently building web application in that direction, once I'm done, I'll engage you to vet it; it should serve as a valid platform to project our goals/demands. Peace. |

blues20: You have just validated my point. Only people with sawdust for brains resort to insults when their viewpoints are challenged, just like you. Now take note: This is a public forum. You do know what that means, don't you? Anyone, can quote anybody here....they do not need permission to do so. Can you understand that, or is it too hard for you to decode? But I can see you are intellectually challenged, otherwise you would not have uttered those expletives in your post. Was that how you were brought up to respond to people? Shame! |

Igboid: Attack the message and ignore the messenger, MKO only pay for not heeding his wife's warning, Mulika wey gave us a transformer wey no dey work despite all that was allocated to her constituency, abeg na who Mulika help for her constituency?, why do you guys like trivializing serious issues and turn around to blame others. If Yoruba's collectively had abandoned MKO as you claimed, how come three political parties picked two Yorubas as presidential candidates in 1999?. You guys still don't get it do you?, that every successful football team is made up of a quality striker, talented midfield, a no nonsense defense and a coach who can use his players to destroy the opponents game plan CHAI. 2 Likes 1 Share |

7lives: Yorubas abandoned Abiola. That he died in the prison with no fan fare is no longer news. Oh! Never knew Mulikat was a PHCN official to be providing transformers. How much has your Jagaban and Fashole embezzled from Lagos? We get it perfectly. Obj coronation in 1999 was the decision of powers that be, it had nothing to do with Yorubas as he wasn't even a Yoruba candidate. It's a pattern that when ever a stubborn Nigeria ruler is assassinated by powers that be, OBJ was always a "go to" man for the neo colonialists, as it was for Mutala, so was it for Abacha. We all saw how Awo schemes to emerge president ended up with him committing suicide, we are watching Tinubu. Don't take yourselves seriously, cos no one else does. You have bigger issues than Ndiigbo,go solve them and stop coming here to talk you trash. 3 Likes |

blues20: Leave the slimy miserable Afonja alone. He isn't worth your time. see this wonderful thread opened long ago by a one time regular Igbo son here: https://www.nairaland.com/2425368/future-igboland-discipline-not-population#up I think the points he raised are still relevant. But everything points to sorting out our political leadership right first. What do you think? |
Re: Rethinking South East Political Stand 2019 by 7lives: 2:04pm On Oct 31, 2016 |
Igboid: All these rants because your folks are "I BETTER PASS MY NEIGHBOR "types, @ bolded, Yorubas actually had Jim Nwobodo, and Chuba Okadigbo to thank for OBJ's ticket at the Jos convention, at the expense of Dr Alex Ekwueme. Don't you think its more important to worry about the progress of Your people collectively than HOW TINUBU AND FASHOLA ARE FLEECING US?. I rest my case, EOD. 2 Likes |

7lives: Even if the entire SE PDP caucus voted for Ekwueme, it was never going to be enough for his emergence. No, I think it's more important that as a Yoruba you stick more to worrying about your people than coming here to spew trash about Ndiigbo. |

laudate: You’ve achieved your aim, by instigating the mod to place a ban on my moniker, which was your objective from the onset. You’re pained by the obvious progress of this thread. You are making a big mistake; my/our resolve cannot be disenchanted. You talk about intellectual ability, I consider it an insult to engage in an intellectual discuss with someone that is already bias towards my people. You’re from the slimy afonja tribe, so bro, you can’t get me talking sensible issues with you, cuz it ain’t worth it. Cyberspace does not begin and end on nairaland. Once again, kudos to you……. Believe me, we will match on. And this is the last response you'll get from me. |

mekuzi09: Hehehehe...! So you were banned by the mods? Am not surprised. Your vile expletives & insults got you banned, not me. But then, you chose to blame someone else for your problem, instead of taking responsibility. Typical. Anyway, sorry to burst your bubble. Am not in any way related to Afonja or whatever you call his name. I am from a minority ethnic group that has absolutely nothing to do with your clan. But then, your response is to be expected. You lack the capacity to focus on issues, that is why you hurl insults at tribes. Keep up the childish work! Finally bro', you are too intellectually challenged to even think of engaging in a debate with me, judging by the kind of responses you have made so far on this thread. My advice to you is that it is better for you to keep quiet, and be regarded as a simpleton rather than open your mouth, and remove all doubt. Look up synonyms for the word 'simpleton' in the dictionary. Let's hope they will make sense to you. Peace.

And since you do not have the guts to mention my name or respond to me directly, it shows how scared you are. If you didn't care about the ban, why were you wailing about it in your previous post? Were you not the same person claiming that I had instigated the mods to ban you? Tsk, tsk! mekuzi09: |
