Spot on per Gomes.
Now I have seen what he can do on a good day.
I'm gonna give him time.
I wanted to write midfielders, not defenders!

I dunno about you guys, but I think Gomes showed some quality yesterday, and if given more creative responsibility and freedom overtime, he would be very good! The idea of our midfielders just acting as passer-by is killing them! They are not allowed to do anything apart from passing to Neymar or Messi as fast as possible!

exactly

That's just it, you can't win everyday. And I'm sure barca fans would prefer losing this and winning against Sevilla cos that's what's gonna happen.

Not taking anything away from city, they had a good match, aguero was Fab for the first time he was not selfish, but I'm also not ruling out match fixing. cos I don't know how pep would lose heavily away to barca only to turn abracadabra on the return leg, this is the second time, anytime this happens again, I would just bet heavily cos barca would always lose the return leg to pep "knowingly or unknowingly"

I do not agree with your take about how Barca's loss could likely have been a result of" Match fixing". They lost.

That 4-0 score is a gross misrepresentation of the first leg...City dominated us at the Camp Nou too.

But we won 4-0 so there was no need talking about that aspect of the game.

We weren't lucky this time around.

Well I also hope it's not, cos a team that needs a match won't play as barca played yesterday. A rakitic/sergio B/Andre midfield was also off though and Sergio B that was suppose to head the department did everything wrong, Andre that has never scored for barca still couldn't score what appears to be more than an half chance. Suarez had a bad day, naymar had a wors day so let me just join ur disposition that they had a bad day inoffice, cos if about 5 players. Find it hard toget their. Bearing, the team would definitely lose. But I'm still watching ouyt for suchmeeting against pep

You should know I didn't watch the match last night. Not a Barca and neither a Man City fan. ( I am Man Utd fan). I made that comment especially to Coded01 a Barca fan who seems to always have something to say about my club whenever we lost a game.

Great analysis though.

Who can remember when Honeric and myself were arguing about Gundogan? I filled up a page with images of his playing position during the argument grin
We Could have gotten that guy for peanut because he was on the last year of his contract and he was willing to leave!
But would Enrique have utilized him properly?

I have and will always maintain my word and i still know that match fixing still exist and will continue to exist in football...
I'm a barca fan and one thing that i want you all to know is that even before the match yesterday i had that feeling that Barcelona will loose the match...
Its not because Manchester city are better or like most people are saying that they dominated Barcelona...
Its because the match has already been decided before kickoff...
There is no way barca boards, messi, coach Enrique and uefa and barca players will allow mancity to be eliminated from the tournament by messi's Barcelona that are close pals with guadiola and his players...
For uefa it was all about the money,.
For messi and co, it was all about friendship.....
Go and watch the match again, especially the first half and see how Barcelona players clearly sold the match...
If Barcelona were to be playing real Madrid and with the chances that barca playfully wasted, the match would be nothing lest than 4-0 by the end of first half in favour of Barcelona...
Now what was Lionel messi saying to Aguero and debruyne when they wanted to take the free kick that lead to the second goal?...
And take a look at the body movement of the keeper before the second goal...
he deliberately let the ball in...
I believe messi was telling Aguero the direction to play the ball to, which our goal keeper was aware of...
so debruyne had to take it, so that people will not suspect something fishy if Lionel messi's best friend and roommate Aguero had played the free kick....
Now the substitute of Enrique is still another factor to consider that the match was sold...
How can he remove rakitic from a game of such magnitude
All the recent report of Lionel messi's involvement in a fight with fernandinho are all lies to keep the truth....

When pep won the second leg with bayern, some peeps still cited this conspiracy BS. Now he gave barca a master class n some people are still shamelessly citing fixed match? I won't be surprised if one day madrid wins Enrique 4-0, Then some people will say he wants to savage zidane's career

City played well, but nothing like master class from city barca simply wasn't trying enough... The first 30 minutes shows what barca can do if they mean business but that was just charade.
How can you explain the way barca played in the second half? They can't even string 3 passes together before losing the ball and these were the same player that played first half... City played with intensity throughout the match, how come barca cope well in the first half but forget how to play ball in the second half?

The more you look here, the more you see... I will not say it's match fixing, but definitely this isn't barca ( yeah Enrique's barca) when they mean business

What are you saying? You sound like a child as your conspiracy theory is nothing but weak. I don't know why everyone is making so much of a big deal that Barca lost to man city. I'm a Barca fan but we're not unbeatable even though formidable. No be everyday be Christmas.

first of all, I don't know Enrique's barca, cos it has no identity! Don't try to over hype our first half performance, it wasn't like we blew city away...check the first half stats...when we won 4-0, did city deserve to loose by that scoreline? Didn't they outclass us b4 the red card?

I could also say City allowed us play our game in the first half, then analysed our weaknesses during halftime and applied the tweaks in the second half to down us..no? grin

Messi played only 14passes in that second half FFS. grin
