Awolowo and their so called Kakanfor fate is unfolding gradually at their new god. Lol, ass lickers, they think they will hurt the igbos by voting out Jonathan, but ironically, igbos are soaring even in recession while they are being humiliated and reduced to nothing. Their education is a complete waste. They lack wisdom. Just look at how PMB has embarrassed them by giving them charge over the economy which they don't have clue to mansge, hence Nigeria is now in recession. PMB has just succeeded in exposing their incompetence to Nigeria. They are now like garbage bins. Next all of them will be relieved of their duties for incompetence and their positions replaced with Northerners and there will be no protest. There's difference between education and wisdom, that's why igbos are excelling. It's not about carrying non relevant degrees in to decorate suitcases. It's all about wisdom. They lack wisdom which is why they will forever remain slaves to the fulani
Awolowo was cheated out of
the presidency after helping the
Fulanis crush Biafra... It is alien in yoruba to be
brave and look your oppresors in
the eye. That's why the fulani

See what they did to the yoruba
governorship candidate in kogi.... just take a good look at AFONJA the ancestor of Yoruba ppl , after he helped Fulani's to dominate Midwest region, they later betrayed and killed him like a common criminal, u can't trust anything from north when it come to power tussle

Arrant Nonsense
Tinubu should be spending his money on a project his interests are not protected?
See me see trouble o.

This is a very unintelligent submission.

APC has many financiers with varying interests. If every financier insists that his interest (which could be different from others)must be protected at all times, then there would be chaos, as we now have.

Tinubu's interests had been protected in APC,but definitely not all of his interests can be protected! In life you give and sometimes you take.

Moreover, business interest must be distinguished from political interests.Politics is all about service to the people.Financing of a political party should therefore be regarded as a social responsibility for which no return on investment ,if any, should be expected at all times.

By the way what interests in Ondo state are we talking about? Is Akeredolu or Oyegun a northerner?

As far as Ondo state is concerned, any interest that is divergent to the interest of APC as a party,is an interest tainted with potential corrupt tendencies!

If dumping of APC is all about protecting interests, then Tinubu should retire back to regional or state politics, because no truly national political party can guarantee the protection of individual and selfish interests, at all times.

Awolowo never helped to crush Biafra.

Biafran soldiers with the help of some yoruba traitors were attacking the SW they had overrun bini state. It was when they reached ondo that the yorubas started to attack them.

The civil war was a conspiracy to give the fulanis political control over southern Nigeria's resources.
when what u are fighting is in Lagos what why will u be going north... Awo betrayed the Igbo's after he helped Fulani's yo crush them they denied his the presidency. Fulani's are special breed that will never share power with any one even their best friends , Fulani's betrayed AFONJA, betrayed Awo, betrayed MKO, Ernest Shonekan. nearly betrayed Obj if not the Igbo's that stood by him firmly now Tinubu has been used and dumped ,,, The Yoruba elite and area-boy
politics; shown itself
over the years to be incapable of
rising above narrow tribal
interests and reciprocating
goodwill from other sections of
the country by treating other

every crisis in Nigeria since
independence has its roots in this
attitude.

The Nigerian populace have been bamboozled sh*tless by these politicians to the point where they can hardly differentiate substance from rubbish.

Nice one from you.
thank u...it just tires me to see we the populace turn against ourselves which only serve the interests of the elites. On the political front, they portray to the masses that one party or one tribe is negative but on the economic side, they keep marrying eachother and consolidating on their gains and wealth, showing to us that those divisions(ethnic or political party) are not worth the headache but economic survival. As such, as the populace, we should also put up a united front and focus on ensuring the economic survival of this country iss guaranteed. God bless you, God bless Nigeria.

U're quoting sa:nusi and talking about betrayal gringrin u're a noob. Awo didn't betray anyone he was defending SW from war.
Awolowo is the undisputed hero
of the Yoruba tribe of Nigeria
whose wartime policy of
starvation and currency change
helped kill the Biafran dream. Awolowo was the sage whose idea
ended the Nigerian civil war. He
advised the Gowon Cabinet to
block all food supply to Biafra so
as to end the war quickly and
according to him " starvation is a
legitimate instrument of war ’’ This
led to the starvation of over one
million Biafran children. Thus
Awolowo’s advice and actions led
to the quick end to the Biafran
dream. Therefore it is right to say
that what the entire armed forces
of Nigeria could not do, the
wisdom of Awolowo did. Chief
Awolowo also ensured that every
adult Biafran who managed to
survive the starvation was given #
20 pounds to start life afresh
irrespective of amount of money
in anyone’s bank account before
the war started. While Awolowo never trusted the
Igbos, the north never trusted
Awolowo and theYorubas. The
northern oligarchy instigated
crisis in Western Nigeria in the
same manner President Obasanjo
used the Uba brothers to instigate
crisis in Anambra State. This crisis
led to the trumped up charges
leading to the trial and
imprisonment of Awolowo .
Reports has it that he was to be
poisoned in prison before the
military coup altered the state of
affairs.
Awolowo was released from
Calabar prison by Biafran leader
Odumegwu Ojukwu and there was
an agreement that while Ojukwu
declares Biafra in the East,
Awolowo would declare Oduduwa
Republic in the West. The British
establishment, sensing the
dangers of Awolowo declaring
Oduduwa Republic in the West,
convinced Gowon and the north to
checkmate Awolowo’s
secessionist agenda by appointing
him the Vice Chairman of Federal
Executive Council. This strategy
worked effectively and Awolowo
was deceived that after Gowon’s
tenure he would be given the
opportunity of ruling Nigeria.
Awolowo thus had to checkmate
the Biafran dream to clear any
obstacle to his ruling Nigeria
while the north was looking for
the right opportunity to throw him
into the dustbin. In frustration,
Awo resigned from Gowon’s
cabinet when he realized he has
been politically duped.
Awolowo quashed the Biafran
dream while the northern
establishment killed the Oduduwa
dream and betrayed Awolowo’s
presidential ambition thrice.
