Mourinho style over the years has been his ability to motivate his team to leave their all on the pitch for him. When that fails or he leaves the club becomes shit. He has almost zero impact in style of play. His plan A B and C tactics is to keep it strong at the back first and then get a goal or two. For that you need strong men. They don't come that much these days. |

Mourinho Is making it harder for anyone to defend him tbh From the look of things, it seems pensionermovic will be the determinant of Mourinho united career. If zlatan hits form, good for him, but if he continues to play this Menopausal football and Mourinho decides against benching him, Its his luck. He will be sacked again. He has more to do lose. If he fails here again, that's career k'o, unless a miracle happens. 1 Like |

Employ Moyes, then sacked him. Then employ Van Gaal ,then sacked him. And now employ Mourinho..... ...all this in 3years. Ed Woodward! |

The moment rival fans go from mocking your team to offering tactical advice on how to get better, then just know your team is finished. This is what we did to Chelsea last season now we have inherited the curse 1 Like |

chrisley024:True that. I think Pogba should play at the left side of 3man midfield..He shouldn't play as a 10 for united. To me nothing less than Ucl qualification this season. Anything below that, then i know the team has failed itself not we the supporters.. |

Oasis007, are you still of the opinion that some of us are overreacting? |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Oasis007(m): 10:54am On Nov 04, 2016 |
AdisaOwala: To be candid...... I'm getting fed up of JM and his tactics. I really do not understand him anymore. I think he has lost it as a Special One! We lack creativity, and it's so worrisome. How can a Team with Mata, Mkhitaryan, Herrera and Pogba can't create goal-scoring Chances? What the hell Rashford is doing on the Wing? Why is it so hard for JM to relegate Ibra to the Bench and play Rashford there?! I give him till 31st of December, 2016 to do the needful, or he loses another faithful Fan in me!

As always Mikhi takes the fall.....a boy that hasn't played for almost 5-7 games @ a stretch This guy blamed everybody but himself @ Shekpe, Madrid, Inter & now hin still dey repeat the same performance again, someone shld tell him that he needs not only a break (2yrs) but that he shld cum out with set-out defined identity. His style of football is what Allardyce & Pulis are proud of using xcept his cuming back (from the supposed 2yrs break) na to dey manage the mid-table teams & funny enough, UTD may be the final big club he would manage till his retiring time |

"Well, you’ve never seen a Jose Mourinho team play with two left-backs at central defence, and I cannot be critical of the boys, because they do what they can. "They try their best; for Daley [Blind] it is even more difficult to play as a central defender on the right side. It’s completely uncomfortable for him; he cannot even be a good builder of the game, which is one of his good qualities. Marcos is trying hard and is fine, but it’s a very important starting point for the stability of the team. "Even in matches where we didn’t concede goals with them, against Manchester City and Burnley, they were both home matches and we managed to play with a high percentage of the ball and with the defensive line almost at the halfway line. But it is hard to have a really strong team. "We can also speak about the number of goals that we don’t score. Not the number of goals that we score, the ones that we don't score. Sometimes teams don’t score goals because of their philosophy, because the team isn’t aggressive enough and doesn’t risk enough. "That’s not our case, that’s not our case at all. It is also easy to see that some players in our attacking areas lack confidence; they’re not sharp and getting the chances that they can. Probably one of the only good things today was the fact that Rooney finally scored a goal. This also could be one of the key points in terms of his self-confidence." - Jose Mourinho |

AdisaOwala:Yeah I think so. We should learn to give a new manager half a season @ least. Chop & change will not take us far unless we are hiring SAF again. If he's as serious with this Europa as his comments suggest then it's a pity he isn't learning as quickly as I'd have hoped. Nothing stopped him from fielding same team as the first leg minus the injured lads. Rooney is blunt, rightly replaced. Zlatan is shooting blanks so far, he should also manage his game time cuz there's no difference between Zlatan, Carrick & Bastian. Having Zlatan & Rooney centrally is madness, I expected he's already penciled that down before now & moved past it! No pace through the middle had Martial doing multiple jobs last night yet Rashford is sent to the far right. The fundamental problem with this team is no pace through the center when attacking. It isn't even that difficult to decipher/fix. |

"It’s too early for him [Schweinsteiger]. He’s been training with the team for three or four days, he’s not ready to play football at that level yet." - Jose Mourinho |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Oasis007(m): 11:54am On Nov 04, 2016 |
"It was tough conceding the early goal - he won’t score a goal like that again in his life. That forced us to push forward which left us at the risk of a counter-attack. That ended up leading to their second goal. "We scored too late and didn’t leave ourselves enough time to get another goal, maybe if the goal had come earlier we could have done more. "The atmosphere in the dressing room is down after that but we must dust ourselves off and stand up. We need to look at ourselves and try and put it right in the next game. There are still six points available in this group. "I’d rather the next game [in any competition] was tomorrow so we can put things right but we will make sure we are ready for Sunday." - Daley Blind |

With Pogba likely to miss the Swansea Match due to Injury, also Herrera due to suspension; I think JM may have no choice but to play Carrick and Mkhtaryan! |

SailorXY: The only Solution I can think of is Henrikh Mkhitaryan. He gets Pace and decisive Passes to unlock stubborn Defence. I really do not understand why he signed him in the first instance. Has he lost Confidence in him?! |

Oasis007: ........Mikhitaryan..........Mata...........Martial............ .......................................C.F....................................... Under normal circumstances, an "MMM" triumvirate is sure to guarantee goals & assists at a rate far higher than a Ponzi scheme yields interests but ofcourse Mourihno has sabotaged the Armenian's match fitness/readiness with the selection of waste men like Lingard, Rooney & Pogba (as an AMF). December, you said!! |

pollyanaism at it's peak! everyone has suddenly forgotten we had a good game last weekend. the biggest problem is ibra tbh. i would even prefer rooney to him right now. we could be just two points off the top right now, if that man could hit even an open net. the sensible thing would have been to bring in carrick for pogba, and play rashford as cf. ibra will get this man fired! |
