I know someone that lost a pregnancy at at 2nd trimester cos of a weak cervix(dat will not be ur portion IJN) so d next pregnancy na she dey beg d doc to do ASAP, and she carried d baby to full time.

I want to first first emphasize the need for mothers to pray for all the staff in the hospital and those who will be on duty when you want to have your baby.

So, around 6pm ish I started feeling small cramps, I just waved it off as the normal cramps after walking Coa I just returned from my usual evening walks. By 7:30 I was ready to slap anybody cos of the pains. We immediately headed to the hospital. The nurses just said oya come let's check you only for them to find out dat I was 6cm already .
She just did a sweep and asked me to lie down within an hour my water broke, contractions increased and I was checked again, 8cm hmmmm ok o. I was so happy I will soon meet my baby my brethren na so baby pack one side go stay instead of moving with the contractions. Baby's heartbeat was very stable so nobody tried to augment labour just monitoring and monitoring.
I asked for my husband at the point and I was hugging him with each contractions. If my husband was not around when a contraction hits I will start screaming nurse o my leg, my legs, one will be massaging my legs, I will short again "eh o gala na azu(it's now at my back) nurse will want to leave leg and massage back I will just ask what are you doing? Don't leave my leg o, dats how I had 4 nurses with me dat night 1 for leg, 1 for back, 1 for stomach and standby nurse.

It continued o until 7 am. The midwife was like ur baby doesn't want to come down and I will not change shift until she delivers my baby, she just said baby come down in Jesus name. In less than twenty minutes baby made her descent and entry into the world with one strong push. Instead of my madam to cry, she came out sucking her fingers. D midwife burst into songs of praises and I was crying very heavy tears of joy and asking for my baby while she delivered the placenta, cleaned me up and stitched the little tear baby gave me.
They put her on my chest and I kept crying and crying before I gave her back to be dressed.

I give God all the praise because it was complication free from beginning to end.

My dear don't worry God is ur strength u will carry to term. When I went for scan sometime ago I was told the same thing. I just focused on God that gave me conception. My DH will touch my stomach and pray. i was on bed rest and I constantly applied the anointing oil on my stomach then I decided to go for another scan, what they said was 2.8cm at 22weeks became 5.4cm at 24weeks. Just believe God that u will not cast ur young. The God that gave me peace will do same for u in Jesus name, Amen.

Please mama be proactive and tie the cervix. 17 weeks is still far from the desired destination and as the baby grows bigger, the cervix becomes more sensitive. I lost mine at 21 weeks. Same story.

Good morning mamas, trust everyone slept well and is doing fine, plz I need urgent answers, today is my antenatal appointment, went to see d doc and also decided to check d sex of my baby but d sonographer found out my cervix walls are thinning, like my cervix is dilating, he said it suppose be 3cm but its1cm and since my cervix is opening baby is moving down, doctor said he will put me On bedrest over d weekend and tilt d bed position so DAT d cervix can close back, if not he would have to tie d lips of my womb, and honestly I don't want DAT, dey called it the incompetence of d cervix, and said it happens in most woman but it can be corrected...plz make una pray for me o...baby is perfectly fine, d scan revealed a baby gal I fink he could see it bcs of her movement and position, has anyone had this kinda situation,how did it end...what's the possible cause? Massaging it with a warm towel helps and drink lots of water. Then try to be extra relaxed when feeding your lo. It's a function of the mind that allows for letdown when breastfeeding

My pregnancy was a stress free one,no ms,no spitting,no unusual cravings,no aversion to smell,was just eating n eating , I didn't even have that black line on my tummy until after delivery and its faint.



So when I got to 39 weeks I noticed my baby's movement had reduced somewhat,I would run round my compound n do some squats only for my baby to just demo for one corner dey sleep till after a few hours before I feel any movement,I started getting worried when I it was 39 weeks 5 days,got to the hospital n the doctor said I should wait till 40 weeks which was on a Sunday,I said ok then went back home,didn't feel any movement that night till the next morning (Saturday), I was like this one done pass be careful,hubby too was already panicking so we went to the hospital again,the mumu doctor said the same thing he the previous day but I insisted that I wasn't going back home cos I brought my hospital things with me,he decided to ask the md and that one gave the go ahead that I should be induced...hmm na now tori start, that hospital and those doctors na God go reset their brains

. My dear, to be on the safe side do it. I regretted not doing it though my doc then didn't mention it. But now i keep asking questions and checking it. Make wetin wey happen in 1914 no repeat itself. Though my friends says that am just worrying myself. My prayers are with you we all shall carry to full term IJN.

It all started with mild abdominal cramp then i started seeing brownish discharge later turned to small bleeding i went to the hospital and the doctor said its a case of threatened abortion i was 5weeks plus then, the doctor said its early to detect if there is any gestational sac but i was told to do a scan anyways and nothing was seen. I have to come back after 2weeks. I went back today that is supposed to be my 7th week plus aand no gestational sac was found. Yes i lost it

The sonographer said you have got a beautiful womb and i am sure you will get pregnant again soon and i replied with see you soon.

I asked the doctor what could have gone wrong, he said it just happens like that once in a while and i asked why my baby decided to leave me. I know God knows best, well i am still newly married.


I am not sad because i know i am still a 2017 mama in sha Allah. I lost it now but i am coming back in grand style.

I fink u are worrying 2much too, just take a lot of rest, pray and be very positive, if it happens that I will do d cercelage, den I won't hesitate but for now am very positive that I will be fine by Monday, lemme hold on to my faith, #smiles# it is well with us, tnx xo much for ur concern, and may God who gave u ur baby kip it for u till its 9mnths without complications in Jesus name amen.
