No, that analogy isn't right. Because there's no way you would have known if these policemen never had any preliminary skills nor trained with the ball to begin with. For all we know, they may be regular street players who play on the street, just like the south americans who often start their careers on the street, for example Suarez. Even the workers in each Radio station fm in Ondo state plays each other everytime and win a trophy for it.

Let's look at this way, there are 2 children, one child attends a local school and the other is a hawker who hawks on the street but still get to train himself on how to read and write in his spare time whereas the one in a local school isn't only dull but doesn't work as hard nor have the right mentality for studying. Do tell me if the one that attends a local school is better than the hawker? Both are just as bad as each other but I can tell you the one who hawks on the street would still be better off than the child in a local school because he's hardworking and has the right mentality.

That's the case with Vardy, a factory worker who eventually made a better career than the other pro before him because he worked hard for it.
