It's normal mum Zoe, u wouldn't want to know the number of diapers my Jayden has used since I gave birth to him, anytime he sucks breast he must poo.

At first I was worried then I later get to know he has a good body metabolism and that helps in achieving a healthy weight gain.

i would advice u wtch wat u eat, for d kafra or any other herbal drink u take it she'll partake of it frm BM. pls dont stress urself

Thank you all so much for the advise on increased flow. Infact from no flow to small flow to now.
Rofemiguwa gave me fenugreek.... it made me see breast milk and i am so grateful.
Then for the increase in flow... i used 1. Ate iru twice.... 50naira worth first night n second night. Couldn't bring myself to eat it the next morning..... lol
2. I ate well, drink bucket of water n slept well... infact i fell sick and they said it was stress as am restless.... they said the headache i had was bp but it cleared after resting for two days...
3. I ate bitterleaf soup twice. Really ate the leaves.....
4. I stopped wearing bra and was practically naked.... MIL said to let the boobs breath.... that bra is used to wean babies....
I couldnt do palmwine.... hubby would have to go towards akudo to get... so far.

Zoey has not taken any other thing than breast for the past 48hours.... she latches but its painful except i remove n reposition... which causes annoyance. Lol
Then she would suck for long and close her eye u will think she has slept.. try removing breast and see that her gum is clinched tight to it...lol then the sucking will start again.
My sleep now is less than 2 hours o.... she sucks round d clock... once i put her down she stays calm for 10mins and wakes up looking for bobbi... hian.
But today seems different becos of what happened.

Like when she sucks and i bring her to burp... she will polute n shiit. So i became worried. Made formular this evening and gave her. Then pumped 90mil each from them boobies and threw away.
I am now worried.
Is she reacting to my milk?
I used to allow her suck daily before....the flow was established so we cant say its soured or is that it?
Why is she stooling?
I have vowed not to take tea n bread again as that has been my only meal for days now.... thats why i pumped n threw away... maybe the sugar content is much... please help me! advise me.

Mil said i should put "kamfura pelebe" in water n be giving her one spoon... i have been acting deaf... saying i dont know where to get it.
Pleade help me....

For d regular pooing.u worry too much.i was having 6 to 8 diaper change early stage.it reduced at 3months.
Now i dey find d shit. It is day 3 now no shit

Back to wat i was saying.google baby poo consistency.the rule of poo is yellow custardry poo.
No grain,no mucus.no blood u r good to go.

U r scared cos she wasnt like dis with formula.
Check d poo and her temperature,if it is in line abeg gove her bweast joor.
Mind u her tummy is adjusting too so bear with her.

3rd dose is 6 months from your last dose...which is usually somewhere around 2months post partum. Check your card(if you have one) to confirm your last dose.

This is my testimony n worry.

So far she doen't have rashes and her poops are not green and slimy...then she's fine. My baby does the same, if he farts for you ehn....you'll think its an adult. So loud and the smell can wake the dead! The moment you put breastmilk in his mouth, he poops. Everytime! Which means I change his diaper before or after every feed or in-between. At a point, he was using like 12 diapers a day.

But his doctor said he was fine. So keep eating whatever your eating. So far she's not reacting. My baby gradually toned down with the pooping a little bit and his poopy diaper has reduced to like 3-4 per day. Though he still gets lots of wet ones. That was around 8 weeks old. Please don't give her the kamfura.

As per sucking, she might not be sucking per se, she might just be doing some comfort sucking. Babies do that, they're on your boobies but are not swallowing, just wanna be attached to the breast. My baby's NICU doctor told me that and I researched more. But he also told me not to allow her use me as a human pacifier , so I detach him sometimes and he will cry a little, stop and sleep right away. Sometimes I give him a binky to suck on, but not often.

Plenty of bed rest. To start with, lay in bed for some few days and all you do during this period is go to the toilet to pee and then you return back to bed.

Abstain from sexxx or anything that can cause an orgasm

iomoge2 Yaaaaaay! Our milk consignment finally landed now, dnt coman start complaining abt Zoey sucking too much o, let her do as she likes as other mama's said, pooping after every feed is normal for most babies her age, with time it wl reduce.
