Delivered my baby boy this morning at 7am weighing 3.5kg five minutes after I got to the hospital.
Today also is hubbys birthday.

Goodday sabi mama's plz I need response,the last scan I did my edd was 12/12 and my last LMP was march 11,so as at today I am 35weeks.when I got to the hospital today I went to run scan to my greatest surprise scan said I am 37weeks 2days and EDD is november.baby weighing 3.2kg how possible is this plz. And this is the same scan I have done like 4times and same place saying December why the change all of a sudden plz I need Response am so worried,plz don't pass me by plz

I'm a FTM I complained of waist pain and he ask me want I did with my waist all day ( in DH voice......u didn't drive and u didn't stand for long) Imagine asking a woman that is 7months pregnant and very active that kind of question. I'm just pissed off. He keeps saying u should be in charge of ur body this pregnancy shouldn't control u. I can't even crave for anything he will first preach that craving is of the mind before I will get whatever I ask for by then I have lost appetite.
He helps me quite alright but I still do my normal chores cos he will say he doesn't want me to be lazy that I should try and live my normal life. Don't know how to make him understand how I feel. Really pissed off tonight.

For ur baby, do you produce Enuf milk? Pump and feed with bottle. Also feed every 2-3hrs. Otherwise, complement with formula.

Producing enough milk and he feeds well...Maybe its my imagination sef

Have you had him weighed after his initial birth weight check?

You cannot conclude by mere looking at him that he's not adding weight without having his weight and length checked at the hospital on a scale and then comparing it to his birth weight to see if he has added weight or not and also using a baby weight chart to see if he's within the growth percentile for his age.

So take him to a hospital or any health centre and have his weight checked as soon as possible to allay your worries.

We are due for check up next month sha,I'll check then,,thanks for your time

dearie,pls dont put some of the things he says to heart.
just do the basic chores you can at this stage.
When he complains,respond in a calm voice and tell him that doc said you shouldnt stress yourself more.

for your cravings,if you can afford some,give him money to help you buy.

I guess it's because your baby is weighing bigger than the average weight for your Lmp that's why your EDD changed drastically but I wouldn't worry too much about it if I were you because having a big baby could be genetic in your case. You can cut down on carbs and sugary drinks if you do take them. Eat more of vegetables and fruits. Although at this stage of the pregnancy, baby will still add some more weight but by eating digestible fibre, that way, you are sure of feeding right and getting as much needed nutrients as possible.

Some women in the course of their pregnancy have multiple EDDs from what I know although some doctors tend to stick with the one calculated from your last day of period. And also remember your EDD is +/- 2 weeks so your baby can come anytime from 38 weeks. Just be a bit active, listen to your body and rest when you should, and don't forget to keep praying. You are fine and nothing is wrong with you. Enjoy the remaining days of your pregnancy. It will soon be over.

Appetite is totally gone, I force myself to eat once a day now because I feel full all the time. Making up with midnight snacking on fruits, that's when I'm hungry the most.

My advice is based on how angry you are and how much you want him to have an idea of what's it's like to be pregnant
Get 1 old pillow case,stuff with items like several 1kg bags of semo or gari that weighs minimum 5kg to the amount of weight you have gained,use needle and thread to sew 4 ropes on the stuffed pillow,tie it to his waist, (and to make it interesting place a bet of good amount of money like 10k) that's his package once he gets home,he will go to bed with it,when you wake up to pee wake him as well,duration at least a week,he is not allowed to drop it for any reason o. .I hope nobody is staying with you guys o so that family meeting will not called on the prank o
Hopefully he will understand how you feel when he makes such remarks.

Hello everyone, I can see the ministry is stronger than ever.... I can say we belong to the old school... out first child is close to 2years but it seem we are here again... to learn new tricks, to encourage others and to make pregnancy period look like fun. I must confess myself and sweet wifey did lots of withdrawal method for close to two years now but we have been caught and arrested by someone that wants to come and enjoy planet earth. parenting has been fun, sweet wifey has been great too. big up to all wonderful women, e no easy to carry belle o. every preggo mothers you shall carry it in full term. God will make it easy for you... our former mates like proudmum, proud dad, mytestimony, aunty nurse, and others make una do quick com join us again.
can't end without saying big thank you to my sweet wifey (clinik), that's the name she use here. ...I love you baby.

irrespective of the scan the baby will come when the baby will come.
Besides the first scan is the most appropriate scan
Don't let things like this disturb u

My sister, just go wt d flow. It took me time to admit wt my doctor dt my weeks reduced by 2 wks. Everytin was on track at early stage in FT but by mid second trimester, I was told I was 25wks wen I thot I was 27wks. It took me a month to admit dt.
My LMP was 5th Feb and based on scan, am 37.3weeks today and baby weigh 3045g based on scan 2days ago. Such happens. Edd is also 30 Nov.
You get to meet your baby early and watch your food intake as someone suggested. Wishing you safe delivery.

I got a cercelage due to incompetent cervix around 12weeks and around 18weeks I saw little blood stain.. was scared so I called my dr and was asked to go in for a scan.. To the Glory of God the baby is fine but cervical length is short I measuring 18mm was placed on some medicine and was told to rest.... my question now is when I did the cercelage my dr told me it is okay for me to travel cos I intend traveling to have the baby.. bought ticket and have done necessary arrangement. I want to know if anyone has gone through this and still traveled without any problem .. I believe God I will carry to Term in Jesus name.. sorry for the long write up.. thank you

If you can go on bed rest before your journey, it will help. Also, hope you got the shortest flight possible not those long Arabian flights. It will end in praise. Ask your doctor to place you on that medication for reducing cramping. Can't remember the name now.

no problem MA, yes I did the doctor gave me one yellow tab to be inserted inside vagina for two weeks after giving me progesterone injection. congrats on ur bfp happy bumping
