Hi all. ..Please I need your help in securing a study permit.I am supposed to resume by January. How do I get my medicals done? Can it be done at any private hospital? Also please who has any contact at General Hospital for radiological report? Thanks in advance |
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by yinksob002: 2:19pm On Nov 14, 2016 |
Go to any govt hospital in the state you reside. If you are in lagos, you can go to General hospital at Gbagada or Ikeja and get it done. Remember to go with a print out of the radiological form. All the best Ariel20: |

olusegunthomas:Brother don't be deceive by people no work for foreigners in SA expect you are professional and you can not change your status in SA. It is not easy to get SA general work permit outside the republic but you can apply for critical skills work permit. It's only your experience and qualifications can get you that permit. SA don't want Nigeria again oooo. Thanks |
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by femiaction(m): 10:28pm On Nov 16, 2016 |
Swith:Hello brother it is not easy to get SA work permit don't let people deceive you. It's only critical skills work permit you can easily get if you are graduate of engineering, sciences, medical and researcher. Thanks |

Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by samuelUMOH(m): 11:45pm On Nov 16, 2016 |
olusegunthomas:A word is enough for the wise ! Visit SA and go back home .As the name implies " visitor visa " means you can't stay or change status. More importantly apply for work permit in Nigeria with clear evidence that you have the critical skills r and some technical skills are accepted .You must provide document or certificate to show you have the skills .The employment chances for foreigners have reduced ,however if you have the skills with favour of God you may get employment or you create job for yourself. This is not automatic .I remember a guy on this forum who came to SA with his wife and son .The wife got a good job after 3months while he didn't get any but he used his IT skills to design flyers ,handbills ,posters and website design to make money .Once you have practical skills to solve problem you will make money from the comfort zone of your room . For instance ,if you can teach Mathematics very well or sciences ,all you need to do is advertise yourself on gumtree and apply to schools and pray hard. Bottom line is *come with mindset to create job because Scarcity of jobs for foreigners very high * Come with study or work permit *Come with Skills * Come with money because no one can assure u of job . *Come with pure mind ,not dubious mind 2 Likes |

Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by staggerlee: 12:12am On Nov 17, 2016 |
elijah101: If he leaves before 28th of November, he will be barred for 1 year, anything after 28th of this month he will be barred for 5 years. This restriction into SA does not affect his chances of entering other countries, but I assure you he will be barred. |

just arrived SA, lovely country, full of trees, very very cold and my friends are laughing at me even though they say it's summer, the stories I heard about immigration been harsh to Nigerians were different, my hotel reservation was just looked at and no call, my yellow card was ignored and i spent only 3 minutes with her, maybe it's the airline I went with, smooth flight.....but guys make sure you are confident of the docs you are giving them as what they really deal with is your body language, it's not a do or die to go to SA but it's fun....have fun |

Brother please which airline did you use and for how much and again what is the current BTA i.e. Basic travel allowance demanded by the immigration officers. I asked because i will be in S.A. by the end of this month. Meanwhile do enjoy your stay. |
