tbaba1234: That does not mean others should stay quiet and we have to knock on every door to find out who will reject and who will represent us. Simple, declare interest to play for the country and that will reduce the amount of people that will turn us down. This will also save us time. |

TheGoodJoe: We are not calling every one, just those playing at the required level. Rohr is visiting Ola Aina to speak with him. Once you show a player that he is important and wanted, he will be more willing. |

tbaba1234: That does not work for me. Just declare interest and save the coach the flight trip. We do not need players the coach needs to beg to play for us. We need players who dream and wish to wear the green white green. We do not need players who will wish the were wearing another Jersey while playing for us. I hate this beggy beggy. #CallUpOtigba #CallUpChidiNwakali 1 Like |

Ex Barcelona Forward Pedro Credits Victor Moses For His New Found Form Spanish forward Pedro Rodriguez says playing with Victor Moses on the right side of Chelsea attack in Antonio Conte’s 3-4-3 system helped him rediscover his form. Pedro was a bit part player for Chelsea last season, failing to hit the mark he set for himself in his first season at Stamford Bridge, which led to speculations that he could be sold during the summer. However, he remained at the club and just like Moses, he has found his form and has excelled in Conte’s new formation which has seen Chelsea win their last six games without conceding a goal. Shortly after their 1-0 win over Middlesbrough, Pedro who had a fine game was quick to name Victor Moses as the man behind his upturn of fortunes at Stamford Bridge. ”It’s so easy to play with Moses, he moves the ball very quick and make proper use of any available space. He has helped me improve my game and adapt after last season”, he said. ”The most fascinating thing about playing with Moses is that he leaves you with little or no defending to do. He is very important to how we play”. Source: http://owngoalnigeria.com/2016/11/20/ex-barcelona-forward-pedro-credits-victor-moses-for-his-new-found-form/ 1 Like |

MOTM: Victor Moses Voted Man Of The Match In Chelsea Slim Win Over Middlesbrough Victor Moses has picked up his second man of the match award for Chelsea this season, after he was voted as the man of the match in their 1-0 win over Middlesbrough. The Nigerian who was substituted at the tail end of the game was one of the liveliest player on the pitch for Chelsea, tormenting Boro’s left back Fabio at will. Moses who scored twice for Nigeria during the World Cup 2018 qualifiers tie against Nigeria, which the Super Eagles won 3-1 came close to scoring in the second half, but couldn’t keep his shot down under pressure from Victor Valdes. Back at Chelsea after three consecutive spells away on loan, he has reinvented himself as a wing back under coach Antonio Conte and has been one of the main reason why they are currently on a six game winning run. safarigirl: Victor Moses is black but comparatively faces no internal conflict about his identity furthermore he was born in Nigeria and spent a good part of his formative years here. In England being mixed race with an absent Father and a white mother. Is inherent with all kinds of conflicting and multi faceted issues. Brought up to be white but considered to be black. You many never know the pain, hurt, rejection and continous racism he faces. Add to that the inability to fuse or even understand what it means to be black as opposed to being African. Black is what you are called but it has no attached cultural norms and values or even definition. It is the term used by white main stream media and social - cultural discourse to describe that which they cannot understand. And it is also adopted by disenfranchised children of Africa, in the confusion of thier environment. If you understand thier continous pain then you will find a way to reach them, teach them and bring them home to a Fatherland unknown to them. The NFF needs to change its strategy to reach in many regards what are the lost sons of Nigeria. 2 Likes |

Ex- Liverpool Teen Jordon Ibe Eager To Hear From Nigeria Coach Rohr After Initially Snubbing Overtures From Nigeria According to reports exclusively gathered by Owngoalnigeria.com former Liverpool teen prospect Jordon Ibe is willing to hear from Nigeria about playing for the Super Eagles. Ibe asked for more time when he was approached by former coach Sunday Oliseh while at Liverpool, but the 20 year old forward who was robbed at knifepoint yesterday is reportedly willing to make a u-turn. Now at Premiership side Bournemouth, the discussion about his international future, popped up during discussions with an official of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) about the robbery incident he suffered. ” We thank God he wasn’t hurt in the incident. Coach Gernot Rohr has plans of meeting with him in England when he visits again. As a matter of fact, a family member called us few days ago to know the exact date Rohr wil be in England” He told Owngoalnigeria.com. ” He is willing to listen to what we have to offer. We are hoping he finds the project enticing enough to dump England where he is a youth international and play for Nigeria at senior level”. http://owngoalnigeria.com/2016/11/21/ex-liverpool-teen-jordon-ibe-eager-to-hear-from-nigeria-coach-rohr-after-initially-snubbing-overtures-from-nigeria/ Looks like Hybe wants to play for us noe |
