PA Chukwudi, The Election will go on as planned, and nothing will stop it...It is normal for people to stage protests, when things dont go their way...Dakuku Peterside did more than this, and elections were still.conducted in Rivers State...Even in American, the democrats are still protesting, will that stop Trump from being sworn in?

INEC conducted Senatorial elections in Kogi State without APC, having any candidate, and heaven didnt fall...

However, I urge the PDP miscreants to be orderly while on the protest or the law enforcement agencies would be called in to maintain peace..

By Thursday, I expect nothing less than 50 Battalions of solders and at least 50000 mopols to be deployed in Ondo state..to make sure people exercise their franchise in free and fair environment....

Truth talks!

Violence can scuttle the polls. I believe that is mimiko's game plan to force INEC to postpone the polls

What's interesting about violence?

PDP should settle their problem internally and stop disturbing public peace with the threat of violence.

PDP put your house in order.
In politics ,being maradonic is widely considered a great skill. Your capacity to dribble and outplay your colleagues is counted as super-skill. Governor Olusegun Mimiko of Ondo is a smart politician who has finally outplayed himself and scored a own goal.

There should be limit to everything. While being slippery is good in politicking ,it should has measure . While being inconsistent can be adorable,it can easily be poisonous. While being brutal is great in certain cases ,it can be self destructive. When the smart hand outsmarted himself is what Governor Mimiko has become today.

If all the reports are anything to go by ,the governor is about to break a record. The record is not an enviable one .It is laced with the impotency of a mighty player. So Jimoh Ibrahim is finally having the last laugh.

Mimiko actually defeated himself. His political life has been characterised by schemings and counter plots ,leading to several victories and successes even in the most unexpected situation. From commissionership to Secretary to the state government before the Federal ministerial job,all were case studies in backstabbing and political killings. Mimiko was an enfante terrible of Ondo politics who has as trophies many political graves. He is an undertaker of many political ambitions and a master of political inconsistency. His political career is a replete with allies ditched ,alliances destroyed and pacts torn to shred.

When President Goodluck Jonathan invited him to join the PDP,he entered with all ruthlessness ,destroying the leaders of original PDP and forcing many of them out of the party or into political oblivion. He supplanted all the owners of the House ,planting his men everywhere and using presidential backing ruthlessly to the fullest. The likes of olusola Oke and others left the party .

Others stayed back to fight for justice. The elected executive met on ground by Mimiko was dissolved illegally. The Poroye group took up the battle through the judiciary. The governor imposed a caretaker committee which later conducted a congress for a new leadership . That new leadership later conducted the congress that produced the Eyitayo Jegede contraption.Illegality piled upon illegality.

The court ruled earlier in the year that the dissolution of the inherited executive by Mimiko was wrong and illegal. The Governor was used to impunity of the PDP era,so he did not appeal the ruling ,thinking he can still railroad his ways as usual. This was the point the maradona started scoring home goal.

If the dissolution was illegal and the court proceeded to declare Poroye as the authentic chairman, one would have expected the governor to immediately appealled against the ruling. He did not as he still failed to realise that PDP is out of power and era of recklessness is over. He failed to realise the larger ramifications.

If the dissolution is illegal,it means the caretaker committee set up by Mimiko is illegal. Hence anything done by that committee is illegal. Since that committee conducted the congress that produced the new state leadership which also later organised the congress that produced Jegede ,all are deemed illegal in the face of the law. In other words ,an illegal body organised the primary that produced Jegede while the legally recognised organ was the one that organised the primary that produced Jimoh Ibrahim.

Governor Mimiko realised very late when the electoral body recognised Ibrahim. An appeal the governor should have filed since was just filed . What a shame on this so called smart IROKO team!!!!!.

Now the ruling granting leave to Jegede to appeal against the ruling recognising Poroye team has now being challenged at the Supreme Court, meaning the appeal must be disposed before jegede appeal can be entertained . Can you see how the smart governor has defeated himself?

What option is left for Mimiko. Support Olusola One of AD? That may amount to eating one’s own vomit and Tinubu caucus would not even welcome him. Support Akeredolu of APC. That will be a shame for the chairman of PDP governors’ forum.

Support Jimoh Ibrahim. That will be a real humbling for the master dribler.

Welcome to the world you created, Mr Governor.. #iamjustpassingby# wumiyemo..
