Re: Nairaland Mathematics Clinic by profmathsland(m): 3:48pm On Nov 24, 2016 |
strictlynaija: The first thing you need to do is to obtain the trigonometric identity for sec X. Now sec X=sec X *1=sec x((sec x+tan x) /(sec x +tan x)). At this point you will integrate the simplicities of sec X using the u-substitution which will give you a final result as ln(secx +tanx) +c. 1 Like |

What is the curl of A = y i - z2j + (y - x2)k at the point (1,2,1) ? |
Re: Nairaland Mathematics Clinic by Nobody: 4:26am On Dec 01, 2016 |
Teempakguy: curl A = 3i + 2j - k |
Re: Nairaland Mathematics Clinic by Nobody: 3:11pm On Dec 01, 2016 |
Nigayoyo:no working? |
Re: Nairaland Mathematics Clinic by Nobody: 5:05pm On Dec 01, 2016 |
Teempakguy: curl A = V x A = i [d/dy(y-x^2) + d/dz(z^2)] - j [d/dx(y-x^2)-d/dz(y)] + k [d/dx(-z^2) - d/dy(y)] = (1+2z)i + (2x)j - k Evaluating at (1,2,1) yields: curl A = 3 i + 2 j - k That was a pain in the a** |

In the world of changing technology even in the educational sector, the use of computer based testing as a preferred method of evaluating students is now a key part of the Nigerian educational system. JAMB has introduced their own form CBT exams and we envisage that WAEC will toll the same path soon, I introduce to you an all encompassing CBT offline software called TESTDRILLER (UTME & SSCE 2017). Some of its components includes but not limited to: Over 1000 practice exams past question with answers and explanations in different subjects Robust English kit for study Vocabo which is a synonym/Antonym game Maths Solver for solving and explanation of mathematics question of any kind Maths tips as a guide to help students solve their maths faster and efficiently School Finder that helps students choose schools and choice course of study And a summary of the recommended literature by JAMB which is "The Last Days at the Forcados" For more details and to make your order call/whatsapp : 08034047666 or 07058199231 Email : testdrillersoftwaresolutions@gmail.com

nnamdi1998:So, the man has 24,000 Then he gave his wife ¼ of 24,000 which is 6,000 Then his two sons 2/3 of 24,000 which is 16,000 So total for wife and sons = 6,000+16,000 = 22,000 Amount remaining = 24,000-22,000 = 2,000 Remainder was divided equally among two daughters = 2,000/2 = 1,000 So amount each daughter received = 1,000 I stand to be corrected if wrong though. 2 Likes |

crouch2014: Q(1). Using Euler formular.. exp(i x)= cosx +i*sinx; exp(i pi/2)=i; exp(i(pi/2+2 *pi*k))=i; where k is any positive integer. i^i=(exp(i(pi/2+2 *pi*k)))^i=exp((pi/2+2 *pi*k)) which is a real number and infinite since k is infinite. |

Re: Nairaland Mathematics Clinic by Nobody: 2:41pm On Feb 17, 2017 |
Deicide: That is problematic. I think you have gotten it the other way round. Cheers! |
Re: Nairaland Mathematics Clinic by Deicide: 3:24pm On Feb 17, 2017 |
masperano:well you can also solve it separately by picking 1) 3x-2<10+x 2) 10+x<2+5x then solve then join the inequality later... |
Re: Nairaland Mathematics Clinic by Nobody: 4:52pm On Feb 17, 2017 |
Deicide: yea I know, I thought you made a slight error since x cannot be greater than 6 (i.e x>6) and at the same time x less than 2( i.e. x<2) you wrote (6 < X < 2). So it should be the other way round... that is 2< x<6. Cheers! |
