**** Go and look at Abia map and see that it actually connects to the atlantic ocean. As God would have it despite carving out the riverine portion of Abia to Rivers state thinking that they have made SE landlocked...in their wicked hearts, they left out one part; perhaps they didn't know there was one waterway in Ubuaku that leads to the Atlantic ocean...massive waterways.

I thought dry port or inland port meant a terminal linked by road or rail and connected to ports likes the ones in Lagos or port harcourt.!!. The purpose would be for onward transport of goods to the surrounding cities and towns.

Yes you can have such and it would be of immense economic importance to establish such. Onitsha, Enugu, abakaliki and lots of cities in the north could be well linked to enhance commerce.
