I think it's just respectful to ask my dad for his blessings as we tow the matrimony part.
That would let my dad know he is sincere with his intentions and he's a true gentleman.
I also see it as a rite of passage and a bonding experience between my dad and my future husband.

Well, he could bond with your family first and let at least one of your parents (preferably dad since he would most lilely not let the cat out) know about his marriage intentions. But this must be done on your blind side as not to kill the element of surprise when he eventually proposes.

Heheheheh...all these pre-wedding shots and proposal stunts these days ehn.

A friend once wrote on his Facebook wall that with each pre-wedding shots, it's like couples are trying to convince us that they are in love.

Now this proposal thingy wee just start giving singles like me ideas. Person go just start to dey wish and day dream. Before na for only movies we dey see am, it was causing wahala now that it is happening for real and we are reading about it, hehehehehehehe.
