I have a question o... why is it that Nigerians believe in over wrapping of babies even in this hot weather? According to the research I did I got to knw that a baby should be dressed the way u dress in any season of the year but I notice that in this part of the world even after dressing up your baby in a normal outfit some people will still tell you to wrap them with a shawl even when it is obvious that they r sweating. I've not encountered this but mama that have pls how did you respond to those that told you to wrap your baby in a very hot weather so as to knw what to do whenever I meet with such people.... pls don't read and pass.

Plz sabi mama's we are 38 weeks + 1day but it as if my pelvic want to fall down the kind of pain that am feeling is so much,i went to the hospital on thursday the doctor said I am fine but the pain is just too much,plz is this normal?this is my first pregg. Am so so worried.

Giddyperson, thanks and lol at your old wives tale game I haven't been craving any thing special whether sweet or sour I have just been eating as the spirit leads jare, I was very busy last week to go for the gender scan will update as soon as I know, Edd is April 11, hope you are feeling the honeymoon stage we are in now?

We are 16weeks and some days...no kicks,no turning nuttin nuttin yet.went for scan...baby z fine.he/only turns in the nyt and damn its very painful(ayam just imagining it turning only in the nyt.

Edd **team may...but I prefer April...may too far joor!

We're in our 31st week and save for the weird pain in my pubic region (abi na jajaina), and swollen feet which I started experiencing in my 28th week, everything's been good. The pubic ish kind of disappeared last week tho, but my feet still swell and reduce, whenever and however the urge takes them. Plus, people around me, are doing everything they can to confuse me too. One would say; you sit down for too long, another would go; go sit down and keep your feet elevated. I just taya. Small time now, they'll be asking me to float in space.

Anyways, EDD from the last ultrasound I had's Feb 3rd and sonographer says it's a gurl. Then again, there was a hint of uncertainty in his tone...Soo.. confusion continua for now.

Yea it does that period early thing. Thereby adjusting your ovulation date. Just don't use it as a daily/weekly contraceptive. It's an emergency pill. Ask a doctor to give you daily contraceptive but some naija doctors won't place you because you haven't given birth dem go tell u go use condom or abstain.

and we shd start to fight for dis in dis country. I remember when sugabelly brought that to my mind. It's almost like d unmarried need d contraception more. Our backwardness sha.

Pls no tongue lashing from the mama's am perfect or knows it all. I missed my period 1st of October and just started taking folic Acid 4days ago. Though am starting my antenatal on monday by God grace but am scared because I just find out through Google that I should av started earlier. Am really scared as to the disadvantage of not starting early. Will really appreciate contributions from experienced mothers. God bless u all.

Happy Sunday Mama, we are almost EDD mates (April 10th) maybe that's why our babies are at the same kicking phase . Mine starts kicking endlessly whenever I lay on my back, as if to say (mummy reposition, this position is not good for a pregnant woman lol).

Lol maybe you are having a boy and a girl too. Yeah I rocked second trimester, I hope it lasts atleast for the rest of the year, but my tummy is beginning to heavy me

By now, he should not still be pooping after every feeding. And it's major runny. It does not look like the healthy poop that I know.

Food allergies like maybe lactose intolerance or reacting to some food I eat. He has the allergy shiner, dark circles round his eyes, he has major gas and is very fussy in the evenings.

Or is this why Zoey aint adding as i expected....
She pups a lot. Runny too. Maybe its my own meal.

Well 6weeks apt is coming up in 2 days.

When i went 4 my 2 weeks apt with Zoey. The midwive almost beat us all up.
We all dressed our kids.. wore them caps.. socks.. mittens and worse still had em in shawl.
U need to sè children crying and complaining until she came in and screamed and said its only cloth she wants to see on d baby. That the shalw is just to carry d baby not wrap... lol
Immediately all d children calmed down.
She then proceeded to say they were humans too.. that ee shouldn't make life uncomfortable 4 em.

Just do what works and aviod cold sha

team April am so sorry for being a peeping mate since all dis while. am 21weeks + 5days , I went for my gender scan yesterday but d doctor couldn't see d sex so I was asked to come back in 2 weeks time. but he said d baby is in sitting position but have being feeling a lot of movement or flusters lately
