Just observing for some time now. Some people talking about rom this, rom that, as if there is even anything wrong with the roms. Some people when nor too know about some terminologies come dey think say rom na 1 kind big thing. For those scared of the so called wahala, have you asked those who bought theirs with various roms, if they are faced with any issue? Worst case scenario is you have the Chinese rom installed, and you think it is written in Chinese? For your information the Chinese roms remain the best roms out there. There are persons on this thread that changed from global rom to Chinese rom, because of the added features; yet some persons who haven't even installed it paint it to be whatever they can imagine, shm. As for those complaining about sellers installing their own roms on devices, don't you think its better because that way, they have checked for possible faults from factory before selling, or you prefer discovering factory faults yourself? tongue
Enough said, stop scaring people from enjoying what you already enjoy. This thread is here to help with possible issues users may encounter. We are our own customer representatives. grin

Jumia sells redmi note 2? Anyway if you care for power over battery get the redmi note 2, otherwise get the redmi 3 pro or 3s prime. By the way I think the redmi note 2 is the worst performer battery wise of all Xioami phones.

Hello, please is the Chinese one straight from factory i.e without the seller opening the phone to flash or which.

I took the risk, I got myself a Redmi Pro 3gb/64gb.. Am used to Chinese ROMs, my Lenovo k3 note still has Chinese ROM on it.
Chinese ROM is not as bad as people look at it. It just has some Chinese in it, that's all.. They may not even be noticeable..
Very soon global ROM would be out, then u can flash the phone. But it all depends on your choice [/quote]

Thats my phone the battery sucks big time, but the phone is a machine in terms of performance. If you are not a heavy user, the phone is perfect for you, or you may need a power bank to keep up. If you are busy most of the day and normally use phone just for calls, then maybe Internet surfing in the evening, then you don't have a problem with the battery. If you listen to music via earphones a lot, the battery will wow you. Afterall it all comes down to how you use your phone.
